Hi, I am an electrical and electronics enthusiast. I am very much interested in microgrids (MG) voltage and frequency stability. I have an interest in microgrids control, especially islanded ones. I feel we can share a lot of information relating to electrical and electronics here. My current interest is Matlab/Simulink simulations and other related information.
We also share the software that are helpful for both undergraduates and postgraduates such as Latex. Different tutorials on the basics of using overleaf are shared.

hello, madam. thank you so much for the tutorial. i want to know how can we calculate the PI parameters; and are they the same for all reference values ( like instead of -200 we take -10). i am working in Z domain .
The PI controller has been designed on gain tuning technique. Choose a small value of Kp and set Ki to zero. Keep increasing the value of Kp until you reach neutral stability. Thank you for the support.

What about two different size inverters? How do you dictate the inverter size in Simulink. How do you get two inverters that are different sizes to supply same % of power?
Connecting inverters of different sizes in parallel is not recommended as it may cause imbalance and inefficiency in the system. If you do proceed, it is important to ensure that they have similar voltage and current ratings.

Hi, good video. A few questions. 1. How did you set the droop coefficient? 2. How did you set your LCL filter parameters, why does the capacitive branch have resistive elements in it? 3. You are not actually controlling the reactive power as your outputs indicate you are absorbing huge amounts of reactive power. Also your Active Power is not close to 15 kW.

@@abdulwahabali1263 Hey, I will reconsider what I said before. There are a few video channels that these guys have taken their models from. These models are not good. In fact there are alot of people trying to learn this stuff and they are spreading the wrong information.
How do we choose the value of the constants for the current controller design?
The constants should be in the range of the inverter current. For this design, the inverter current was about 14A

Thank you for your kind words. We can work together to connect the inverters and SGs in parallel. I am currently working on an SG. When it's done, I can now try to connect to the inverter. But there's no harm in collaborating.

The video looks very interesting. If i make the system grid connected, what changes need to be made in the Simulink model? For instance, the LCL filter would remain same?

In the video discretion box, there are no any links for the reference papers or the reference materials There is some equation for calculating L1, L2, Vdc......... I'm just looking for the value of "Vph" that you use it to calculate (dilta iL), which is equal to 20

Hello. The voltage loop gain value is 2pi*f*C, where f is the frequency, and C is the filter capacitance value. For the current control loop, the gain value is 2pi*fL, where L=L1+L2
