So my di box works but it only picked up the guitar once and now it is not picking up any level…did I overload it? Can that be fixed? The 48v is on the mixer board

In the area near the track title "Audio 1" underneath there are TWO icons one, I believe is the record enable button the other looks like an i (then S - M) on my PT intro THESE ARE NOT there?? - How can I get them in there and start recording, what and I missing? Nice video, I have a mixer with only one phantom Power switch, I would like to know if switching it on turns it on for all channels because the mixer doesn't supply enough gain for my dynamic microphones and planning of buying amplifiers for each of the four channels which requires 48v. Thanks

are these, like the first one mentioned, the Pultec other effects or the virtual instruments only working in LUNA or are they available in any other daw you have installed? I know some daws have their own VSTs that only appear in that particular daw as opposed say a VST like a waves one you buy from them and every daw can use them. Cheers appreciate the video I have not tried LUNA yet Im just finding out about it now and own logic ableton and bitwig daws already

Mate all instruments bar bass and kick should be low cut at 100/300 hz as standard so low end mud does not become a problem. This also allows kick and bass to sit in different octaves to reduce frequency clash and take away the need for sidechains and heavy compression. This is if the producer knows what they are doing. Not many people go below 40hz on stereo equipment unless they have subs. Most devices nowadays do not even go below 100 hz so you have to bring the bass up the octaves to be heard and not felt Same as any high end in bass sounds is cut so it does not become a problem for the mid highs, Frequently mixing is more important and sound levels coming through the mixer. Mixing is so delicate now days and you have to mix to the formats now being used, shit buds an "Alexa play that shit music in the charts made for little girls.". Mastering nowadays is what adds the low end boost for the relevant end user and streaming services will destroy all your work if you go above 14 odd luffs with hard comprehension of the whole track that Ai determines is ok or not. Your thought ?

eq straight after the instrument or sound in the chain is my advice then at the end if needed
