Cubs vs Indians World Series Game 7 final 3 outs - Radio boadcast TV sync 60fps (Pat & Ron)
Pat Huges and Ron Coomer (Local Chicago WSCR 670 The Score) call the last 3 outs of the World Series.
8:50 last at bat for the Indians final Out.
Pat Huges is The is the first Chicago radio broadcaster EVER to say "The Chicago Cubs win the World Series" (no cubs radio broadcasts in 1908)
Fox originally broadcast this in native 720p 60fps.. Then edited/rendered in the best quality possible before uploaded to RUclips. RUclips compresses the quality once uploaded so I made sure I rendered it to the absolute best before I uploaded it.

But wait 😂
We know who made last out....but who was waiting on deck??
The Cuban Missile
Like it was yesterday!
Now cleveland owns that drought
it’s in time. and the chicago cubs WIN THE WORLD SERIES!
Just showed this to my 3 year old for the first time and it held his attention for the entire 12 minutes
I still have no idea how Pat was able to get this call out. I was SOBBING. Said a little prayer, thanked my grandma who had just passed for making me a Cubs fan, and just cried the happiest tears of my life. Tearing up watching this in 2024. God I love this team.
Yes, I had been a bit of a Cubs fan through those 2 devastating post-season "curses". The Steve Garvey Curse in 1984 that caused the Cubs to lose the pennant to the Padres in the NLCS. And in 2003, in an even-close one---5 outs away, at Wrigley Field, NLCS, against the Marlins, and then Steve Bartman ruined the Cubs' pennant hopes there! I was at the Hideout--1354 W. Wabansia, in Chicago, in November 2016, well away from Wrigleyville, and 120 people were watching in that bar venue on a single TV screen. I watched it and also heard the radio. On that final out, I knew the goat curse was blown away forever! Forever! A 107-or-so-year wait for a Cubs' World Series Championship was over! Just a little bit like what happened to the Oakland A's when they won the 1972 World Series in 7 games, this 7-game triumph of the Cubs in the 2016 World Series sent shock waves all over Chicago. Nonprofessional celebratory fireworks went off in Wrigleyville, in Pilsen, and in almost all other neighborhoods in Chicago. Even Bridgeport--where the Sox play--also had Cub fans shoot off fireworks on the victory after the final out. And like Comiskey Park, one day later, Wrigley Field set off a professional firework show for the Cub fans to celebrate their biggest of milestones---bigger than Ernie Banks' 500th homer, or all of the other smaller Cubs' milestones. This milestone is one that I will remember for so many years to come!
GO CUBS NATION till i die... #FlyTheW Long Live 2016 Cubs !!!
I cried again. Thank you, Lord.
I fucken hate it when they say “world champions” it’s a national sport. Not a world championship or competition. I get it that there’s players from “all over the world” but so does the mls and they don’t call their league titles “world champions “ 😂😂
God, it would've been so awesome if they could've won at Wrigley
Everyone always said 108 years. But it was 107 seasons. Come on😊
Couldn't believe Cleveland used a gassed starter to open the game.
Wish I could have been there. But I bet some of y’all heard me cheering from Topeka Kansas
I just cried like it was Nov. 3rd 2016 all over again, this will NEVER get old.
It was after this game that I broke down and it hit me. There was no doubt in my mind they were winning it all after this. Even down 3-1 to Cleveland I kept saying it ain’t over yet. Loudest I ever sang go cubs go was this night 👏
Martinez made last out....but....who was due up next?
I heard of one old lady being born the same year the Cubs won their last pennant. She died a few days after this game.
Best team the cubs will ever have
Da gusto verlo pichar a ese pichert 😊
World series Champs! Sox in 2005. Cubbies in 2016. No hate.
2016, the greatest year in sports.
One of the greatest years in recent history honestly.
Just our luck we have michael martinez up in the most crucial at bat. 😢
It’s 2024❤
Actually I heard this is a prophecy in one of those lost books of the bible... "When the young bear reaches the top of the mountain, the end is neigh..." j/k :)
My only actual happy memory I had while in college, celebrating this win with a stranger. In a bar 500 miles from a friend, the Cubs found me one.
This will never not get me nervous and put me back watching in my hallway at home with my parents in the other room radio blaring throughout the house. Man i miss Addison Russell. Its too bad what he became. Dude threw it all away. That really messed things up.
Delirious 10 year Olds. Lol goofy old ass man
As a Yankees fan, so glad to see Anthony Rizzo turning things around. He was slumping a bit, but is now hitting his way out of it a bit. Would love to get this guy a second ring.
Im glad he got to see it happen. ❤
9:25 The moment
What I would give to relive the year of 2016.
The Cubs! CHAMPIONS
As a Met fan I was overjoyed the Cubs won.
Bad News Bears!
This was a late game, ended at like 1am Central Time I remember crying because I knew my grandfather would have loved to see this.
big deal oh wow
I will never see Cleveland win a WS. Two losses in extra innings of game 7 tells me that.
what a moment! holy cow!
So much better watching it with the radio broadcast.
This will never get old
I'm a DIE HARD white sox fan, tickets since I was a kid. My grandpa was a DIE HARD cubs fan. All I wanted was for him to see the cubs win the world series in his lifetime. He passed in 2021 knowing that they were 2016 World Series champs. Go Cubs!
This was the best game of baseball I have ever watched
I remember my heart stopping as I watched Bryant slip on the throw to first. Immediately brought back memories of the collapse vs the marlins. Then all was well again. 🙂
Madden did everything he could to lose this game
2016 was the best year for me when it comes to sports. Cleveland won their first championship in NBA, then Cubs won their first world series championship after more than a century.
2 great things took place that year. One of which was our Cubs winning the World Series! I'll never forget that day for the rest of my life!
I miss Chief Wahoo
