Dude! loved your custom Character UI
A little RE2 a little Survivor mixed together!
Proud to be the 3️⃣rd Like on this template video.
Proud to have you be the 3rd like!
are all the puzzles you've been making using they're own code or are they done through the templates sequencer
All the puzzles I have been making use the templates puzzlesequence script. I did however modify it to make a few methods public, so I could have access to them when linking up some UnityEvents.
Hi! Could you make a mode like in RE: Zero?
What mode?
@@MichaelHeist single co-op
@antidvo105 like have a companion follow you and switch between them?
@@MichaelHeist yes
@@antidvo105 it would probably take a good amount of work but possible
How long have you been working on this project?
This current project I started last weekend, but it’s using stuff I’ve been making for the past year or two.
Broo that's so good🔥
💪Hell yeah, thank you
That's interesting.
This is very wonderful and I see a bright future in you
Thanks, I have a whole slew of different puzzles from survival horror games I’ve been recreating.
1st Like on this video about Hexagon puzzle template. It's been 11 Months since I last played Resident Evil 4 REmake!🧠😆
💪
man can you give zombie models
I actually just ripped them with RE2MV
the music box puzzle, it gives me so much nostalgia. nice work
Awesome
Thanks, hope all has been well
I use the same template for my project (H.A.D.E.S Zero), it's look so cool! If you make it a tutorial pls? :c
I actually did see that project in the discord
Long time no see, the template looks promising, been watching, keep the good work
Hey thanks for the comment! Hope all has been well. Yeah I’ve been enjoying this template, has been a real nice learning tool.
Have you tried making a Silent Hill one status screen?
I have not, but its definitely something I feel much more confident on approaching
@@MichaelHeist cool man, maaybe some day 😂. Ill be looking forward to it.
I watched this while retraveling Misr!🇪🇬
Love the models. I'll have to grab this next payday! great work.
Yeah it’s a great asset, I have been doing a lot of work with it lately and have quite a lot I can share.
excuse me, where did you find the textures for the Tomb Raider Game? i would also like to ttry this :)
I actually ripped these from the game, but it appears you can use www.trsearch.org and they have quite a bit of stuff for this.
@@MichaelHeist thank you for getting back to me Michael! great work :) i subbed
Would be nice to know block distance and dimensions
Brilliant work on this! Really well done.
I really like these videos, good work on these! Looking amazing fr. Although, I had a question, how'd you design the map? It seems to be isometric from outside but it goes original RE1 style when the game starts?
Hi, so basically the Unity Scene viewport is set to isometric mode(Observe the top right of the scene view tab, it says "Iso". This basically changes the scene view camera from perspective to isometric/orthographic, though it actually isn't. If you have unity try it yourself in a 3D scene. Hope this helps!
@WolfpackOne Thanks for this response!
@@MichaelHeist Anytime!
a try make script like this for years, can you helpme?
What is the issue your having?
Yo thank you very much for the tutorial and the pngs! Nice video my brotha
Glad it could help!
Try continualy running throught the door not the door frame Push the door
What do you mean?
Looks cool!!
Thank you
that is a great solution to the door problem!
It truly is, without adding any sound effect script it has no code to get working!
Very impressive
Thank you 🙏
I love unity! This looks sick! What game are you working on? Or is it just a side project?
This is just a little side project to learn some new little things, but I’ve been sitting around coming up with ideas for this. I also have a bigger project recreating the older Resident Evil games.
Do you use visual scripting?
I do not use visual scripting, I have not actually tried it out though.
Cool, can you make saloon style doors with this? From the wild west style
Absolutely this could easily be used to make saloon doors. Just would have to shorten them up and position them in the air a little bit.
I couldn’t get the piston facing down how do I get it that way???
Normally when I try to get a piston to point down I crouch and look up as much as I can to place the block.
Perfect job dude!
Thank you
The game is very wonderful and excellent. I love printing old games and continue. I know that designing games takes a lot of effort, but keep going, legend.
Thank you for checking everything out! I appreciate it, and glad you enjoy.
I'm very happy @@MichaelHeist
This was extremely helpful for me! Can I ask you something? I have all 4 images attached to a empty gameobject, which is attached to my menu object. Whenever i enable and disable it, the texture scrolling simply stops. I tried debugging and it seems like Time.deltaTime is set to 0 whenever i disable or enable the parent gameobject, but even removing the Time.deltaTime from the equation does not solve the issue. Do you know what might be causing this problem?
void Update() { m_Image.material.mainTextureOffset = m_Image.material.mainTextureOffset + new Vector2(Time.unscaledDeltaTime * (-scrollSpeed / 10), 0f); } Try with the unscaledDeltaTime, this will allow it to keep working even if you set the timescale to 0.
@@MichaelHeist Thank you so much, it worked!
Awesome glad it all worked out
Omg i havent seen this in a while. This is going too well
Are you doing a RaycastNonAlloc with a fixed distance for the shotgun effect?
I’m using a box cast, with adjustable distance and an adjustable size for the the box, which has allowed different weapons that use “bullet” ammo to be fitted with the same system.
@@MichaelHeist Sorry, I meant to say BoxcastNonAlloc, not RaycastNonAlloc. That is my bad. Re-doing my weapon systems (except for melee which I haven't even touched yet) was the latest thing I got done with so I was curious what you were doing with it. I did BoxcastNonAlloc and then shot out Linecasts to targets that got hit (and had the enemy tag) to check if they were behind a wall or something like that.
void CheckForHit() { RaycastHit[] hits; hits = Physics.BoxCastAll(m_Collider.bounds.center, weaponData.boxSize, -1 * transform.forward, transform.rotation, weaponData.m_MaxDistance, weaponData.shootMask); foreach (RaycastHit hit in hits) { if (hit.collider.GetComponent<IDamagable>() != null) { ShootEnemy(hit); } if (hit.collider.GetComponent<IDestroyable>() != null) { Destroyable(hit); } } } Its pretty old code now so its far from great. but I have it check a layer mask so its can ignore certain items also. Things like the weaponData are scriptable objects that hold different values for different weapons also, in case you were wondering.
Feels almost identical to the Partner Zapping System in Biohazard Resident Evil Zero!🧠🎮😆
That’s actually what’s it slowly turning into
Great work
Awesome
Thanks!
This was something I learned over the spring, and good god it was complicated but so necessary. My game started feeling like a real game after learning Data Persistence
I dragged my feet for so long, it seemed very daunting.
Darkadia - Survival Revival Games youtube t channel has a lot of great content for survival horror tutorials, especially his live code-alongs. It was through his code-alongs that I learned Data persistence.@@MichaelHeist
I’ll have to check that channel out, thank you!

I make this now in Al my bills
Hi bro i saw your Minecraft abandoned village And Its not on planet Minecraft. Why?
nice job , thanks for sharing this . good luck, cheer ❤
3:35 I don't understand why your HealthRate image is now showing complete. I also don't get how the colorBar is being used as a mask for the HealthRate image in 13:10, because it was never set as one.
The HealthRate image contains a transparent line. The ColorBar is set under it and the white shows through the transparent line. The ColorBar contains the scrolling material and is what we set color to. The color applied changes the white to which ever color you prefer. That color shines and scrolls to give the effect.
