Superlatives get kicked around a lot. No matter - the slide playing by Duane Allman, particularly the fills on the choruses, are simply unearthly. No one is that good, not humanly possible, but yet Duane is. Duane Allman was a monster among monsters.
According to B Whitlock, on Anyday all rythm and slide parts were by Clapton. So skydog here is just the solo at the middle.
Just saw him live in Spokane, he did the thrown out of a bar one at the end, which was amazing live but not this one ;) darn
