Im so mad the battery goes out in 30 minutes of me cutting my yard is large it has been now day 2 trying to cut the grass. Once i get it cut i will see if it does better on much lower grass my lawn had not been cut for a month now if the battery still dies on a lower grass im taking it back. I do like how it cuts tho

Batteries don’t last long enough for me to cut my front and back yard 😞 and recharging takes hours! I think I will buy two more batteries and hopefully I can get my entire yard done.

I just bought one of these this morning and haven't even charged the batteries yet and wanted to get on here and watch the reviews. I appreciate you showing us how it all goes together and how it worked the first time. I see this video was a year ago, have you had any issues with it since?

The blade on my hyper tough just bent as well. I see Walmart sells a replacement blade for it. If I order the replacement blade for it do so need to replace the adapter as well?

Only enough battery time to cut my back lawn. I then need to charge the batteries for 7hrs in order to cut the front lawn.

Thanks for posting this video. I'm not sure how you could pinpoint that exact spot, your nose must be that good. I would say in general that the best way to go about this would be removing the baseboard and making your cut underneath there. Replacing that block you cut is more of a job to make the wall look nice again. If this was in a closet though, I would say this kind of a cut is fine. However, the benefit of working under the baseboard is 1) you can generally start with a gap between the drywall and flooring to identify droppings or even the mouse before making any cuts to the wall, then you can strategically make cuts from there. In your case the insulation makes your find a little harder because the dead mouse could be trapped in the insulation above ground level. In that event, a snakeable camera connected to your phone would be needed. I am glad you got that sucker out of there though!

It's decent. Takes three days to cut all of my grass, but it works. Would definitely work better for someone who has a tiny yard.

This is not a good mower. It doesn't hold a charge and I can only do a part of the yard then recharge the battery. To mow my lawn takes 2 1/2 days and it only is 1200 square feet.

Clean under the deck #1, and secondly .. the locktight is a bit much. I shapen mine once a season, so .. keep that in mind.

Priced it today and for what you pay for this you can buy a Skil 20 inch 40 volt mower. a much better mower all around. As of March 2024 the Skil is 249.00. and that is the mower I would buy. It is 50.00 dollars cheaper than the Hart 20 inch 40 volt mower.

How much quarts?

This was exactly the fix I needed. One thing I disagree with is the locktite on the blade bolt. If anything, I would use a "never-seize type product to prevent the mounting bolt from rusting in the shaft.

Do you know roughly how long it lasts before the batteries die? I’m trying to decide between this and a hart mower. Please and thank you

There is a new type of ring made of elastomer. Anyone have experience with this? One YT video showed a pro plumber who swore it was great.

If the flange is below a half inch from the floor level you will need two of the kits to get it to the right level. Best to take the bowl off first before heading to the store. Learned that the hard way.

Don't use Fluidmaster's "Better Than Wax" product. That was my choice as well for a toilet that began to leak at the floor. Three years or so after installing this product, it began to leak again. When I removed the toilet, I discovered that the plastic that this product is made of had hardened and deteriorated, allowing the leak. Many types of plastic deteriorate over time. I sensibly assumed that Fluidmaster would have used a plastic that would endure. They don't; the product is garbage.

Let me guess. Your air filter is constantly getting clogged with oil and gas cause of tipping it on its side? I made the same damn mistake

After replacing a wax seal with the Fluidmaster better than wax seal, my toilet still had slight water seepage. I loosened the toilet, wiggled it a bit and re-tightened the bolts. No more leaks. Time will tell how good the Fluidmaster seal is.

Warning on the label that's on the blade says " Does not fit Hyper Tough units 2020 and After" Make a difference?

How is it holding up?

I have this mower, just got it, thanks for the run through! I bought it bc at that price point, still a good solid Briggs & Stratton motor & not hard to fix. If anything does go awry, a vid on that would be great! truthfully I bought it bc I already an EGO Battery mower I bought in 2021. It has spent most of the last two years BROKE DOWN!! It’s a constant wire problem chase, bc of the handle & other wire pinch points. I’ve not been happy with the EGO bc of this; they are aware of the problem, as it happens with a lot of their mowers,& I wish I’d have known!! So I wanted a simple gas mower!!

And that's about all it cuts before you have to dump it.

This thing is junk, had it for a year, the motor is fine that is about it. The handle if weak and breaks, the custom prop mount is over priced and can must be swapped with a real mount from another motor to use real blades rather then the tin foil blade Hyper supplies. The deck is thin and already has holes, it is all junk. Do not buy this you will be very angry, I know I am, Hyper tough my ass Hyper Junk that breakdown every other use is more like it!

how do you get the yellow piece off? mine wont come off so i cant do the oil.
