This scene put words to my experiences with grief and supporting others in grief or trauma in a way that I haven't quite been able to articulate before. I wanted to share because I know the small following on this channel generally appreciates sentiments like these, and because I believe this series is criminally under-watched. The concept is original, the cast is spectacular (Rick Glassman, Lauren Ashe, and Hannah Simone are absolutely brilliant in this scene, and we get frickin' Gina Rodriguez and Brad Garrett -- I mean...), and the writing and directing has an all around solid grasp on the new episodic sitcom style a la New Girl, but with the slight existential flavor of the 2020's
