Bonaire: Snorkeling Te Amo Beach 2015
Просмотров 6079 лет назад
Jan 13th 2015: This is Te Amo Beach on Bonaire filmed with a the Nikon Coolpix AW120 (an underwater point and shoot camera). This reef shows the storm damage that is common to the inshore reefs along Bonaire. There are lots of signs of recovery and the reef restoration project is evident in many locations. I wanted to upload one video before completing the editing so that anyone looking for sno...
Showtime (#17 of 20)
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.15 лет назад
What can I say, it's "Showtime Folks!" As you're riding the Orange Chair to the top watch others coming down Showtime as it is often very ICY so you need to either be very good or able to hold your edges well. For your first time down Showtime wait for a warm day or a day after PNS has made a substantial amount of snow overnight so that there is powder to get your edge in. Eventually you'll dis...
Deception (#16 of 20)
Просмотров 72915 лет назад
Deception is a very steep and narrow slope that runs off the Red Chair. You should be a very experienced rider before you challenge deception. If you're not good at moguls definitely wait for a day this run is groomed before attempting it. You have two choices of narrow gaps between trees at the bottom of Deception. Be very careful when coming out of these gaps as this trail merges with Clydes ...
Encore (#14 of 20)
Просмотров 56515 лет назад
The first black diamond slope off of Runway. This is a fun slope as you can take a path down either side of the trees that cut down the middle. The left side is typically smoother and develops moguls less often. Encore often has piles of snow left at intervals to make a nice rolling run. If you like to get air you'll enjoy these. At the bottom of Encore you have several routes you can take back...
Center Stage (#13 of 20)
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.15 лет назад
Again, its debatable which is next in your progression Center Stage or Encore. Both are considered black diamond slopes. I say go for Center Stage first because it is the ultimate challenge that you saw when you first looked at the slopes of Perfect North. Quite possibly, if you're like me, you got a slow start in snowboarding and thought you'd never go down such a steep trail/hill. Well, I mad...
Runway to Special Effects (#11 of 20)
Просмотров 83315 лет назад
Now the fun begins. The tree'd runs or the glades are accessed off of a long narrow but gradually sloping trail called Runway. For the beginner/intermediate snowboarder this is really fun. The only challenge is the very narrow portion at the end of Runway. Additionally, there are always people just standing at the top of Special Effects. Usually these people are waiting for their friend to take...
Tuff Enuff (#12 of 20)
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.15 лет назад
By the time you're ready for Tuff Enuff you are snowboarding pretty well, you are just not ready for steep slopes done the 'right way'. What I mean by right way is pointing the board down the hill and making turns. Too often I see beginners going down the steeper slopes simply by side slipping. My son and I have coined this cheating or not really going down the slope. Your first time down Tuff ...
Clydes Super Slide, Left Side (#9 of 20)
Просмотров 71515 лет назад
The left side of Clydes is accessed from the Red Chair and its much steeper than the right side so you'll probably do this after you do the right side. In this video, I go all the way to the bottom of the run to the Blue Chair. In order to get back to this slope you will need to skate quite a distance back to the Red Chair. If its a crowded day you can get to this slope from the White Chair (on...
Clydes Superslide, Right Side (#8 of 20)
Просмотров 80615 лет назад
After Meadows and Back Stage the step in your progression at Perfect North Slopes is Clydes Superslide. You'll most likely approach this from the right side (top of orange chair) the first time. The top seems steep and the trail is mostly a side hill so as a beginner you might find yourself staying on a single edge down the middle portion of the slope. There is a drop-off on the right side that...
Meadows (#6 of 20)
Просмотров 39115 лет назад
Its debateable whether to run Backstage or Meadows next in your progression at PNS. Personally, I did Meadows first so I'll list it this way. The Blue Chairlift, however is one of the hardest to get off of because there's very little room to stop before hitting the stone wall. Wisely, PNS widened the top of Meadows because it is a beginners slope and the room was needed for their comfort once u...
Back Stage (#7 of 20)
Просмотров 81315 лет назад
OK...now you get to go to the top of the hill!! You get to see Center Stage in all it's glory and terror (LOL) as you go up. Getting off the red chair is probably the easiest at PNS, there is lots of room up there. Backstage can also be accessed from the White Chair, however I do NOT recommend this to beginners, the landing off the white chair is very steep. You really need to be good at skatin...
The Far Side (#5 of 20)
Просмотров 71615 лет назад
Once you can keep your balance and stop yourself, you should be ready for The Far Side. The Far Side is at the top of the orange chair, it is the most popular trail at PNS so it can get a little crowded, at the same time it is the longest run so the crowd will be scattered down the trail making it almost always tolerable. Running the Far Side will give you more time to perfect your skills befor...
Ski Wiz (#4 of 20)
Просмотров 48215 лет назад
Now that you can side slip, keep your balance and stop yourself on both toe side and heelside you are ready for Ski Wiz. It is really fun (but scary at first) to got through the narrow pass between the green chair and the bunny slope.

Gary, can you help me with advice on putting springs back into a clp50?

  • @DennisKenneybees
    @DennisKenneybees 11 месяцев назад

Great job if your fingers were a glass window and you weren't videoing upside down I could have seen how you inserted the spring tab. At least I now know the general location and orientation of the spring. I took my C7 key out to see if I could clean the contact underneath because the key hardly makes a sound unless I have the volume up full on my Yamaha PDP-400 and then all the other keys are too loud. I did not remove the entire keyboard so I'm trying to reinstall the spring from the bottom horizontally. I may have to remove the whole keyboard and turn it over to get the job done.

5:53 if these metal pieces are meant to bend and give tension for pushing the keys up, then they are springs.

If you're struggling to get the TOP LID up off a CLP-560 (very similar), there's an EXTRA two screws to undo (total 6), which are on the side plates. If you take the front plate off, as shown in the video, you can see a white pillar connecting the top lid to the base. That's where the screw(s) are.

I play guitar in the church band. Don't play keys at all, but the clavinova developed a bad key. Drops out, doesn't play unless you really bang on it and even then it's intermittent. So they bought a different keyboard and put the clavinova in storage. My plan is to fix the bad key and finally learn to play keyboard. My gut tells me it's a contact problem? Background info: the keyboardist has a penchant for hammering the keys with his elbow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This is what makes me think it's a broken contact (if that's a thing with clav) rather than a cleaning issue. Any experience with this?

just got a clavinova cvp 50. the drums sound extremely distorted, but piano sounds sound fine. I opened top, ( possible by watching your video, thank you). I have a question. do you know what might cause the drums sounds to sound totally distorted. I have an electronics and I.T back ground. so am good with figuring out how to swap out parts or boards and even fixing things by component level repair. I am not afraid to use a solder gun/tool. I am not sure if it is from the button board or the main board were all the sounds are generated. my guess is that one of the audio processors may be shot. any input is appreciated. Mike M
