How Much I Made From Publishing My FIRST Game?
there are no new unity tuts tho every tut i have seen in old and unity has changed and every time i copy their code it doesnt work even if i copy it exactly.
do you have any idea on how to fix the collision with moving objects and other rigidbody objects? In the asset for some reason when i walk into a cube my player kinda clips in it and sometimes through it, and if i just stand still next to a moving platform to let it push me, the colliders are a tiny bit off and my player is getting moved by the platform but there is a tiny gap in between them
You have to be South African lol
im confused because you only have a Collider and no Rigidbody or built in CharacterController on your GameObject which means it counts as a static collider which the docs say you should never move, and it says static colliders dont properly collide with things when moved as they're not updated by physics. so i dont know whats going on anymore
Thank you very much. The only good video on this topic.
Hi man nice video!! i havo to ask you something to understand better behaviour trees, the branch under the repeat task what does? it always in wait but i see a start stop ability inside
this is amazing!!! Clear and detail tutorial!! Please make a video for other abilities like sprinting, crouching or flying !!
completed the tutorial and it was great, have my character working well. Only issue is that when I do a tutorial and make a moving platform that moves horizontal, my player doesn't follow with the platform that has the box collider. tried I few tutorials on and i think the issue is something to do with my character/player. Any tips/advice?
hi its seems to be for anything that I want my character to react to like a box collider, with a player tag it doesn't work
got it working!
After putting together my scripts, I'm not having any luck dropping the character controller script into the character controller field in my final step. Does anyone know how I would troubleshoot this? Does someone have a Git repository to this code so I can compare?
Are you sure your character controller field is of type CharacterController?
@@TvtigIt's working, thank you!
I’ve recently decided to explore game development and eventually create my own game. Honestly, what I have in mind might take 3-5 years to develop, especially since I already work as a software engineer. My plan is to begin with small components or features of the game I want to build. I’ve started with 2D development for now. Let’s see how it goes. Wish me luck 🙏
You sir, deserve a medal. This is the video I needed, thank you.
Double click and nothing happens?
I hate these "look what i can do" videos. Theyre worthless
Great thing about RUclips is - you can choose not to watch content you don’t like! You can even dislike videos and block entire channels from your feed :). Have a great day!
Nice one - I was left with a gnawing apprehension of when you were going to add some arms and legs plus some blue and yellow to your Minion demo character, haha.
Part 2 please!
GET OUT OF MY HEAD
OMG YOU ARE SO AMAZING!!! I REALLY LIKE IT, THANK YOU MAN!
bro made a glock with a hammer 💔
:,-)
Perfect timing. Wanted to setup the kinematic character controller this weekend.
Thanks Man!
and event? system?
As a sound designer, I held out a sliver of hope that the big reveal would be that audio is the hardest when I wasn’t mentioned! Great video, I’m working on a solo dev project now, making the time for it and being consistent are absolutely two of the big killers in productivity.

Not bad but good❤
Glock with a hammer ? Yankee with no brim ?!
Why are you not uploading to youtube shorts too? Also, I noticed that the clips on your twitter are super low action. Nothing even happens in the first 4 seconds. You really can't do that with shorts. Another thing, this lack of action thing is gonna apply to the gameplay too so try to add stuff like trees swaying in the wind, birds flying randomly, clouds moving and casting a bit of shadow, etc. Just to create some vibe, something going on at all times. EDIT: I had some more ideas for passive stuff. Flickering lights/street lights, birds chirping, random sounds such as glass breaking, knocking, things falling and these don't have to be triggered by real actions just background 'events', day/night cycle would add a lot, wind sounds, rain, fog I think would add a lot, you could also add a random chance for a squirrel squeak when shooting a tree or maybe birds fly out of it. And you can create a lot of stuff to be interactive and permanently change during gameplay like shooting a hole into a stop sign or shooting and making a fire hydrant spray, etc.
It really depends what you are inclined towards. Me personally I've been a hobby artist for like 8 years now and been programming for nearly 4 years, been making 3d models for 2 years. I don't find either one harder.
14:21 don't forget to what? DON'T FORGET TO WHAT!?
Hey Add Gun sound/gun print in wall/blood/setting to reduce lag/multiplayer/rescue/many playable character
simple and usefull , no stupid complex ways that took a whole day to understand
Anyone knows whymy color over lifetime is not working?
bro does more reaserch into gun function than most tripple A game studios.
I tried to do flappy bird by tutorial you recommended but the problem that when coding i cant remember the lines and what they stand for
Hi New Subscribers here... Thank you for the video I gained something from you...
I'm new to unity, I just recently downloaded the software. May I ask for your advice if your fine with it about another tips for learning it. Thanks
Wish you had made this video sooner, I would have never gotten into game dev. Duck, duck, dddduck
Simple truth, boldly told, often forgotten, especially during the planning/scoping phase of the game. Rudely reminded during the learning phase.
at 3:53 bro started loosing his mind for a second P.s. there is no hammer on a Glock pistol. Taking into account that "you've watched 10 videos" i can assume that you've made it on purpose.
This is why I work with others. I have no desire to do everything myself. I like coding and that’s what I stick. Others can do the rest of the work.
why did you add a hammer to a glock lol
2:50 Looks like DOOM
:00 Do something else than someone who is already good at doing it?
Ow man feel this video so hard the done is better than perfect is so real
👍🏻❤
Just like with software development, it's easy to code the core, but the visual part is harder than the rest of the code.
took a while lol but made it work thanks
I wish you the best of luck! :)
I liked how honest this video was. Thank you.
maybe custom zombie models, maps and a much darker atmosphere will bring back that cod zombies vibe
nice job and I was wondering if there was a way to convert the generated tails into fbx and store them, using particle systems and mesh to reduce cpu cost😀
