perfectionism really is the antidote to creativity - unnamed podcast .01
I can't excuse other people. I am in pain yet i don't make others suffer.

thank you for the support! 💖 glad to hear this resonates 🥰
my parents worked hard and rise from having very low-income to having a great-income. i have seen them growing from the bad stage to better stage. now they have enough money to fund me for studying abroad and im feeling really guilty. firstly, i have always felt bad whenever my parents spend a lot of money on me, it feels like im a pressure on them. secondly, if i succeed, my success would belong to my parents. if i lose, it would be like "oh even after getting such support from parents, he failed".
first of all, thank you for sharing this! ❤️ on your first point regarding feeling bad when they spend money on you, maybe it can help you to switch that narrative and realize that they're spending that money on you because they want to! there is no reason to feel guilty about being given things out of the kindness of others' hearts 🤍 and on your second point, i understand the feeling of your success belonging to your parents or whoever financially supports you. but firstly, rather than feeling guilty about it, i think it's more productive to simply be grateful for that financial support and use it in the best way you see fit. secondly, just because your parents help you financially doesn't mean you don't put a lot of work and effort into your own life. don't take that credit away from yourself just because you financially got help. somebody could have the richest parents on the planet, but if they did no work of their own, they likely wouldn't find success. or at least not fulfilling success. you need to give yourself credit for the work you do put into your own life ❤️ and lastly, on the point about failure, i don't believe failure is a one and done type of thing. the most successful people have often tried and failed 100x which is exactly what gave them the knowledge they now have to be so successful. overall, it sounds to me like you're being a lot more hard on yourself than you deserve, and i hope this can encourage you to give yourself some more credit ❤️❤️✨✨ plus, i imagine the last thing your parents would want is for you to be feeling guilty for the things they willingly and happily give to you; again, they do that because they want to 🤍
@@hippienikki11 thank you so much for replying. your reply gave me another perspective and relieved me. im really grateful for what my parents got to offer me. i wish you a happy and fulfilling life. thank you for helping me.
@@amarpreetsingh305 of course! i wish you the same 10fold :)

Cathartic 😥❤️
Your extra chromosomes are showing again.
I know this.
You are exactly right... 😢
Enjoying listening to you! People pleasing is so tiring and seems like an endless cycle, especially because the healing process is huge and I think some people don’t realize. People pleasers usually end up scare to ask for help (for obvious reasons!). I love the way you explained and gave your personal experiences. I’m glad to know we are never alone and it’s awesome that you are taking the lead sharing this hard work 💜
thank you so much for this comment ❤️❤️ totally feel that- it truly is exhausting, both the people pleasing and the healing process as you said! but i think even if we're just aware of it that means we're closer every day to people pleasing being a thing of the past <3
Perrrrfect video about this topic wow it shows u really did sth to urself so u can talk these key things not all those surface level explanations👏👏👏
thank you so much girl 🫶 i really appreciate that 🥰
Im still in this phase and i have no clue of the escape
i think radical acceptance helps~ it helps to distance yourself from the negativity without wishing it wasn't there
I avoid all the news because I'm scared to hear something bad. Like a war, etc. I get anxiety and I can't sleep after hearing about something bad
Psalm 46 King James Version 46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
100% Me. And guess what? WE are the majority. It was absolutely better to live out our human lives without today's Social Media. I, fortunately, know what life was before any of these Social Media platforms were even a spark of a thought.
you're so right!! i feel like what social media portrays are more avatar versions of ourselves rather than the actual full human, then you feel crazy for being a normal human D: it's wild.
I totally agree! I spent a lot of time just to accept that self-compassion would be my cure. I didn't even consider I should be allowed to show self-compassion for my emotions that were labeled as low - which eventually led to depression.
you put it so well- to show self-compassion for your emotions that you negatively labeled. every emotion is there for a reason so they all deserve compassion 🤍
I couldn’t agree more. Thanks.
Also, they're tiktokers. That's not really a job.
I totally get what you're saying! I'm also referring even to full-time workers who post online as well. It's a huge range of people with different occupations who spread this narrative
as promised, here's a list of a few of the pending name ideas i have: - The Waxing & Waning Pod - The Be Your Own Bestie Pod - The Dreaming Realities Pod - Project Becoming Pod lemme know which one you like best! 💖

this seriously makes me so happy to hear :,) ❤️
Hey Nicole! I'm from the main channel, I initially subscribed because I really relate to the disillusionment with regards to the corporate environment so the ramblings were my favourite part, and the raw, candle light, no script podcast adds some charm to this unnamed podcast. Anyway, on to your points. I really understand the paralysis due to perfectionism. But as they say, never let perfection get in the way of progress, and I need that tatooed on my soul. I think any artist feels that, 'what's the point, everything's already been done by someone else' but we've got to remember that no one can make art like you. You are the only you in the universe with your brain and experiences and personality and soul, so as long as you stay true to yourself, there's room fot you art in the world. 😊 I also relate to feeling as though labels like 'artistic' and 'creative' feel pretentious and unrealistic. And anyone who wants to pursue anything in those fields is either juvenile or 'doesn't know how the world works'. The thing that made me lose the shame associated with wanting to pursue an artistic career is learning that most people regret not having pursued their dreams when they were younger, and very few regret not working more. I'm also rambling in this comment😂 But I'll leave you with a quote from Terrence Mckenna; "Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed."
hi emmanuel, thanks so much for joining me over here from the main channel, first of all i'm really glad to hear you can resonate with some of my ramblings lol ❤️ i think that's a really powerful point you made about people regretting having not pursued their dreams when they were younger. that makes me think, even if the artist thing doesn't work out, i think it's better to at least be able to say that i tried. the trying in itself is the most fulfilling part i think, to just know i made an effort to move towards my dreams is the most important part, even if the goals are never technically met. and please don't worry about rambling 😂 i really appreciate you taking the time to write this comment and it makes me so happy to know you could resonate with all of these things i talked about 🥰 makes me feel understood and not alone in this, too ! i absolutely love this quote you left, i've never heard it but the "hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed" is so beautiful. thank you ❤️ wishing you all the best 🥰❤️✨
