Couldn't agree more with you!! There is something definitely special about the "look" of these Fuji cameras, they are simply beautiful! Let alone the color science and film simulations! I am myself in the process of making the leap from Sony to Fuji so thank you for comforting me in my choice!

i just got the sony a6700 and Im in love with it it shoots amazing still and video but with my lenses I cant see myself going out and shooting with it all day, I've been looking for a fuji to serve as my personal street camera but the prices are so high rn

"my x100v" was ricoh gr3 street. i loved that camera but how i use and live my life...x100v made more sense. its my go to daily life/hiking rainy days/backcountry/travel it made more sense. less sensitive body for what my interest entails. so i got it the real x100v. and i love it. btw amazing story telling!!!

Wild part, when I first was getting my fuji xt4 silver during covid.... the a74 was just coming out and at the time around the same price but I liked the way fuji looked, and the DCI was good for me as I want to do more films and the colors out the camera are amazing

I have subscribed in hopes of living vicariously through you as you shoot your leica because I'll probably never be able to own one. BTW, please don't be upset if you scroll upon my video making fun of leica owners. It was all a joke for internet attention. I don't want to get cancelled by the film community before I get a reel following.

I only shoot jpegs, and I have 30 cameras. As long as you shoot jpegs you have 30 different kinds of images to look at. When you shoot raw you get to the same result every time and you forget that the people that created the jpegs are smarter than you. I am a photographer,, not a photoshopper.

awesome video. I shoot sony and have 2x a7iv's. I moved from sony APSC to full frame about 5 years ago when starting to do professional work. I had the sony a6000, then sony a6500. the change to full frame for profressional use makes sense for me and the images look more professional.In saying that, I recently just purchased the fuji x100vi to have that light small camera fell where i can take it anywhere and do need to worry about editing the RAWs. to have a camera that didnt feel like work all the time

I switched to Sony in 2020 and it hasn’t really inspired me to shoot. I recently have been shooting film on a Canon AE-1 and have fallen in love with it. It’s so much better than shooting on the A7IV. I like that Fuji has the dials like old analog cameras. They seem way more fun to shoot with than Sony.

I don't think your reasons were silly at all. I used to have xt4 which I switched to eos r and now have debated for the past few months to switch back to Fuji. Mayde trying xpro3? The reason I originally switched to eos r was 1. Fuji RAW incompatible issues with adobe 2. Eos r is full frame. But now I have missed and craved the FEELING and the EXPERIENCE of the Fuji. The total Fuji (so to speak) ecosystem of shooting is just more inspiring to me. I enjoy that the jpegs looks amazing and need just a little retouch if anything. Also I haven't even needed to shoot RAW that much. Fuji jpg's are so dense that they hold well when edited as long as it's not anything hard core. I also prefer make the lighting etc. decisions in advance. I don't particularly enjoy the endless opportunities when you can almost lit the photo afterwards with modern RAW files. I enjoy it when you NEED to make the decisions before hand and I also truly believe it makes you actually a better photographer. My debate with canon/fuji is still on the way, so will see what happens xD

Does Fuji make its own sensor's?

The one thing to consider when purchasing a Fuji camera that I was not fully aware of before hand. Is if you do any RAW post work, be ready to use Capture One over Lightroom. Lightroom just recently put out a update to help with Fuji Raw in Lightroom, but it requires you to turn on the extra feature for ever photo which takes around 4 to 5 second per photo. Capture One will make Fuji Raw's look so much better. And Fuji just killed off the Free version of Capture One so you will have to pay for Capture One moving forward. But if your just wanting out of the camera jpg's then Fuji is really good for then you should be good to go. So you may have to adjust how you intend on do post with Fuji if you use Lightroom. It's just one more step in post that I was not fully aware of till I actually started using a Fuji camera. And had I know it before hand, I may have planned differently.

Hi, i have a question. I've been dead set on buying the xs20 for a long time. It's new, has all the features that xt-4 has and more. Which one among the two would you like to buy if had the chance? (I'm going to buy my first-ever camera and photography is ofc the main thing but i want to learn some filmmaking on personal level in future two, that's i was planning to go with fuji18-55 instead of sigma 18-50 as 18-55 has OIS, so ibis plus ois will help i me better i guess) please please please, it's very important.

Yes you can take videos and photos with phone, but I haven’t the joy like have in my hands a good camera. So this discussion is good for people that haven’t passion for videography or photography. Sure, the best camera is that you have with you to capture the moment. For that reason there are compact camera like Fuji, Ricoh or similar

Doubt I'd be upgrading. 40mpx takes this camera 'away' from the reason I wanted one in the first place. People are being fooled by 'higher' specs.

Good to see you back. The one accessory I could not forego is the thumb grip. I also take a small Instax printer with me for travelling. The app is much better now, not perfect but much better. I shall probably preorder the next version but my trusty, now 3 year old V, is going nowhere.

App has definitely gotten better. It still has quirks like random crashes, but I've done some remote shooting with it successfully. I've got a Clever Supply Co strap on my birthday wishlist right now 😬 Not so interested in the X100 series, but I'd stick my hand out if I got one for free for sure 😂 One accessory I love is having a half case--I got one for my X-S10, and immediately got one once I finally got an X-T4. It's got a great look, and it also lets me feel like I set my camera down without worrying about scratching it or bumping it. Also, honorable mention goes to black tape on black cameras to black out branding--keep the people guessing what camera you got to start a conversation 😅 Nice to see you back in the Tube!

Modern lenses don’t need lenses hoods, hate them never use them. The app still stinks. Love the camera but since 2016 I’ve been able to download raw and video on my Olympus cameras. Come on Fuji get with the last decade! Highly recommend shoot film co for straps. They look like leather but made of rubber. And I like the brass hardware.

Hey man, I just watched your video and I was also going between Sony and Fujifilm and it seems like i am now convinced on Fuji. I was wondering your thoughts about Fuji XT5. I mostly do street videography instead of photography and used to get my all job done with an iPhone but now I need to switch to a camera so would you recommend the XT5 for me?

Instead of upgrading to a new Sony I’m trading my a6400 for an xt3 or 4 and looking for an a7iii or older to get the full frame for my Sony glass I still have

Phones are not cameras they're phone with a camera. Even my car has a camera but I don't use it or call the car a camera. I'd say if you don't print you're not a real photographer. Photograph with anything you want. But even smartphones have guitar Apps with strings and I would never call it a guitar.
