Love this game, nice to see someone still cares about it

An essential mod for this game is the original soundtrack mod. It takes the remake up to a whole new level of awesomeness. I actually still prefer the original game over the remake, just slightly, but the remake is pretty great. Cyberspace sucks in the remake though. As crazy as it sounds, I prefer the original cyberspace.

I don't think this game will ever be topped.

This was a veeeeeery decent game, and I replayed it 2 times after my first playthrough. But also so horribly janky, and should have gotten a definitive edition with a ton of fixes. Oh it could have been amazing. Btw just as an additional, when I first tried the game, I just could not understand the hacking minigame, and I dropped it. :P I only tried it again a year or 2 later, and it finally clicked. My brain didn't want to brain.

The MIB dude scream on fire is hilarious

This is a once in a lifetime game. its been 25 years and we're still discovering new things. Most of these, I had no idea. Never seen a game with such level of detail. This was truly a work of passion for the devs. You can really tell they cared.

They added the unused fight dialogue to it and some more complexity so I’m happy. It’s not the greatest final fight in history but it feels more like Shodan is actually fighting back against you instead of her just standing there and dying quietly while you corner peak cortex reavers.

Regarding "chatty NPCs": The Troops in the Training area have completely unique monologues. Just keep standing in front of the counters, and they talk: "It's boring down here." And much more about the life of an UNATCO Trooper.

Ok the line of TNTs dominows spanning over across the whole area from start to end with the comment "That was over the line" got me

Well, I'm pretty knowledgeable on this game.. I'm honestly curious if there's anything in here I haven't learned/seen yet.. Okay, firstly, with the garot exploit, I didn't know it popped if you did it to someone during an animation.. I'm not entirely sure if that's true, but I'll take your word for it.. But what you "didn't" mention, is that it also pops, if you're garotting someone in tight quarters.. If there is a wall directly behind you, you will insta-garot them.. This is because the animation can't proceed normally due to the wall blocking your character. I assume this is basically why it happens on stairs too. Speaking of those men in the truck in "A new life", if you take them out, not only will the cameras not notice you, but the backup limos also won't be called, when/if you alert guards. (not 100% confirmed) 11:26 "I call this one, 'the crypt keeper'~.." That redneck fight circle... Man, I'd stay away from that if I were you.. Crash city, man..

The textures in the remake are purposely crunchy to give 90’s gamers that sense of nostalgia while playing it. I’m actually a big fan of the crunchy textures. It shows respect for the games roots.

Deus Ex Transcended finally brings what I've been clamoring for for years - you can turn unconscious bodies into dead bodies meaningfully, for example MIBs will explode, you can thus turn them into mobile bombs :D
