Me and my old buddies saw John at the Boomer theater in Norman Oklahoma back in the 70’s and then a couple of weeks ago five of us we traveled up to Tulsa to see the Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie museums and had a great old time!🤗❤️

No one mentioned fiddler Johnny Gimble 'til the credits rolled at the end. He was one of the most influential fiddlers in country music. He even played with Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. In the early 60s, Gimble's band had a radio show in Texas and his bass player was a kid named Willie Nelson.
