@@You_no_viking turning the Ryft into a dedicated crawler is waaay underrated. These things are beasts when you slow them down enough.
The lower skid setup just sets it up to be a sick crawler slides over everything nothing to hang on change the rear trailing arms use stock fronts on rear like you showed us changes the attitude of the car ...becomes a beast

What axles are you running?
@@michaelrichardson3899 the rear is a TRX4 and the front is a MEUS Nylon modified to run reverse cut ring & pinion to match the rotation direction of the rear.

Some good driving and somr tough gates there man. Diff give out at the end? Those scores dont mean much to me on a course that nuts haha.
@@underarockandstuff Thanks! Ya, my goal was to simply finish the courses. On course 6, one of the screws on the servo mount came out which let the servo pivot instead of steer the truck. The back of the servo & the end of my outrunner motor were making hard contact. I was able to make repairs and continue driving after.
What motor are you running, it sounds so smooth.
@@insectking7050 I hope that was a joke. That thing was pretty whiney but it had some torque. It was a Surpass Hobby 3542 2250kv outrunner.

@@insectking7050 if you're after smooth, go for a Hobbywing Fusion Pro (if you have the funds). The Fusion SE is not quite as smooth/refined as the Pro, but they're half the price and definitely worth the $. Revolvers/Outrunners are always going to produce some level of noise no matter the brand or price.

How do you not make your wheels come closer together fully extender while mounting your suspension on the lowest you can go?

@@JPWirt so what my problem is when I mount my suspension on the side mounts where it kinda sits horizontal and in the rear. My suspension when I pick my car up my wheels like almost touch each other when I lift my car I’m the air
@@naturalpondscapes8538 ahhhh, I gotcha now. You need shorter shocks or limiting straps to keep the axles from drooping so much. Standing the shocks up more vertically will help that too. Try that first.
