36CF were amazing...and amazing guys! I miss them so much. They were also a bands band...a lot of top acts would say that 36CF were their favorite band back in the day and they got a lot of tours as a result.

My take, Brent isn't your typical lead singer! He's a humble wonderful human, no ego here. Their music evolves with every album, they are honest with themselves and in writing whether it be about mental health to social media use. Eric is a producer and bass player genius, Zach Myers, well what can you not say, Smith & Myers, AMMM into everything, never forgets his roots, also never too tired to come out after show and hangout take a pic and just be thankful you came. Barry is the bow , cherry on top . He keeps them all grounded my opinion. One last thing 3 of the 4 are great Dads and setting great examples to their children! 1st class humans ❤

I coukd see bands being jealous over the ataris. I could see warp tour being like highschool...such a bummer

I saw them in the very early 2000's at the state fair & was IMMEDIATELY impressed & have been a fan ever since. I had never heard of them before that, but went out & bought the CD from the merch booth as soon as the show finished. 20-some years later, I still love them.

i actually just saw the ataris earlier this year with mxpx in Atlanta and they always put on a good show although i was never really a big fan of them but still loked them

Let’s not forget all these bands listed were sucking off the teet of Jimmy Eat World. When these bands came to town , they were always opening for JEW. Except one band . at the drive in . And maybe Death Cab. I was even at a warped tour where Blink 182 was watching JEW , we all know that back story, but still …who’s sucking off who’s teet?

The other problem was the singing jsut sucked . Blink 182 is single handedly responsible for breeding all these diy singers who thought they could just jump in there with no formal training. Now it’s so bad still that the younger generations thinks that that “close led down jaw sound) is the standard and that good singing is actually bad. 🤷‍♂️

Imo, and it seems to be unpopular amongst the fans that only listen to old music. Number 1. Treehouse is one of the best rock, metalcore, electronicore, whatever the fuck you wanna call it….ever fucking made. The hooks, the lyrics, the emotions! For me that album is infinitely better than new demons. And from how it sounds to me, Zach is just a whiny ass has been. If you were working on music, where is it? At least Devin Oliver continues to push the envelope and try to develop as the best singer he can possibly be and it SHOWS. Just saw them live a month ago and they’re are not many male vocalists that have ever lived that can sing in Devin’s pocket. I know this because I’m also a singer and have been for 20 plus years. And if you’ve stopped listening, you’re missing out!

I See Stars new singles suffer from lack of Zach's screaming. This monotone talking that Devin's doing sounds awful. It's so sad that my first band that got me into metalcore now sounds like trash

Hope this guy knows how much he changed my life when I was young. Huge influence on me doing vocals and wouldn’t be where I am today in music without it.

Just went to one of their concerts recently. They were opening for Third Eye Blind. First time ever seeing them and I seriously thought they were headlining lol. Anyways, they sounded great and put on a spectacular show however they didn’t play “Breathing” or “Way Away” 2 of their most popular songs. Why would they not play either of those songs? I found that extremely strange.

I couldn’t agree more about touring under his own name . I have also said Lewis Capaldi sounds a lot like Kris in his upper range with several parts of his songs sound right out of a an ataris bridge . If you listen to the song Hollywood by Lewis Capaldi , that could be what Kris sounds like today .

There music holds spiritual unity underlying goodess light strength and gives us a hint of the darkside l come across them in 2015 by chance surfing u tube..l was in a bad place they resernated too my heart like bang a light of my spiritual journey look at the name shinedown and that they do very well God bless..l hope too god l get see them live 1 day but Australia doesn't play them in a mainstream output radio.. :// .sad dumb l could even unethically wrong because they shine a light🎉🎉🎉🎉

The reason why this band is #1 is because they are true to the meanings of each song they put out and every one has a story to be told.There journey is not over and wont be for a very long time. Love them.🥰🐿

Big fan the sound of madness album was the first time I listened to shinedown they just keep getting better and better it's brilliant and I think shinedown are successful because they vocals from Brent is outstanding such a powerful voice and it just works with the rest of the band especially for charity work from the excellent song atlas falls that got me through lockdown and the don't release any bad music I haven't yet saw shinedown live YET and want to see them sing hope live very inspiring

I was pretty close with Brent when he was in Dreve. I still hang out and occasionally make music with the other members of Dreve. We all worked together at a music warehouse back in the day and have remained friends since. Proud to see Brent come so far.

Shinedown is powerful and inspirational in so many ways.

Just found this. Got to hang out with iss on their bus back in 2014, Talked to Zach before the show out in the crowd and got an invite to chill on the bus. After the show I never saw him, but I saw jeff and andrew and mentioned I talked to zach, so they checked the bus and called me and my two friends in to chill for a bit, after a good while my friends wanted to leave, and zach showed up drunk, but saw me remembered talking to me and came straight up to me almost in tears, gave me a tight hug saying he was sorry we didn't get to talk or hang out, and that he was dealing with some relationship issues. It was such a real moment as a human being to see someone you idolized be so transparent with me, regardless of their status or current issues going on in their life. I don't think I will ever forget that night. Zach's a good dude in my book, and always an inspiration for me even outside music with what he showed me that night.
