Kul med att det var lite udda konsoler osv i år så som cd 32 och cdi, överlag kändes det nice att RM fokuserade mycket på att få in aktiviteter i höstmässan med! sjukt coolt att du cosplayar anderson, tänkte säga det till dig men hann inte på dig under eventet :) ecco är nog faktiskt ett av mina megadrive favvospel! älskar den overkliga vibben, hur deprimerande det är och känslan av att alltid upptäcka en ny bit av mysteriet som utgör den väldigt udda storyn.
Ja men det kändes verkligen som om det fanns mycket variation - både med saker att göra, och med allt som såldes! Riktigt bra arrangerat :D Haha, tackar! Och jag körde mest med Ecco för att jag hört folk online klaga på det på sistone. Jag tycker fortfarande det är ett coolt spel, och minns när jag läste om det i speltidningar innan jag kunde testa det själv.

Hmm.. are they trying to make Västerås officially less boring? 11:31 - Civilization 1 is the best.😀But Alpha Centauri is even better.
They're certainly trying! Unfortunately there was no Retro Gathering this year, so I'm happy this happened in Västerås instead. And haha, alright - them's fightin words! 😅
This was fun (as they always are). Loved that the Stormtrooper had a voice effect built into his helmet! I always love seeing stuff like the Ghostbusters bootlegs ("Egon, from Spookchasers") and seeing how other countries sold things. And, of course, old Sega games are always a blast! (I was a sucker for NHL 94. That's one system I wish I hadn't given away.) And I have a bunch of NEW friends who would have fought over the Metroid.
The stormtroopers were awesome - they were from the 501st Legion :D And I felt so stupid when I didn't hear the Egon bootleg comment properly at first. "Damn, he thought that I didn't know what Ghostbusters was!" ^^ Haha, I loved the comment about the Megadrive/Genesis Elitserien game (the Swedish hockey league). Who needs NHL when you've got teams like Rögle!

A disgrace that they have added an enterance fee - just to enter the market. Especially for the locals who live in Visby, making the barrier for them to enjoy it very high.

If you ever find yourself in the Netherlands early August there's Castlefest on the grounds of Kasteel Keukenhof, which was built by a VOC member in 1641. It has a similar vibe I think :D No horses sadly, but we burn a wicker man on the saturday. This year it was a raven and we had Kai Uwe Faust from Heilung do the ceremony.
That sounds absolutely awesome! Early August... That might unfortunately clash with this one, but I'm sure I'll find time to visit it one of these days :D

It is immersion breaking. I have a feeling they wear the same outfit at any festival they have the chance to attend. Comic Con? It works perfectly. Gotsland? Not so much.

I had some chats with the Nightwing lady from 6:00. She was awesome, especially for a first timer. The batons could be placed on the back with magnets, and she was just very fun to talk to. Hope she's back next year. Great editing btw, it's always fun to see the cosplays I missed, and fun interactions between everyone, like the 2 Jesus fellas pointing at each other.

Looks a cool decent arcade apart from the fact that all those games are pretty common and easy to find in England. I miss coming across games that arcade hard to come by and find back in England. Are those 2 arcades still open in the jumbo centre at playa de ingles?
I think they're closed actually... It seems like arcades and gaming in general wasn't exactly on the rise there

I was impressed by how well organized it was, and how everything just seemed to...work as it should. (Although I'm sure it was more chaotic behind the scenes, as always!) honestly i'm a little sad that i didn't go (especially since it didn't look to be too hot outside that day) but i was expecting it to be burning hot outside since its summer but who knows maybe i'll go next year (i am planning to go to närcon winter though so thats something)
NärCon vinter is also really great! But yeah it was a bit hot actually - but I still think the summer festival is worth it despite that. Very much so!
