I am 45, and I experienced the first wave of raves, in the 90's. It was all about fun, funky, crazy fashion, with big chunky plastic jewelery, platform sneakers, chains, and baggy pants. Nowadays it's all about dressing as skimpy as possible. The style kinda went out the door! What happened? There's no real thought put into rave outfits nowadays. Pairing crazy things together was fun. Books on Japanese street kids, is a good reference. Club kids, and kawaii fashion was what defined a raver. I wish it would go back to that, instead of the subjugation of women. Women think it's empowering to be half naked, when in reality, it just makes men look at you as a s-x object!

Hello from fellow Cougar. Glad you figured out in the drinking earlier than I did. When I was in Pullman in early 90’s it was nuts! I jumped off the rock once into the snake river in winter time. Alcohol was involved.

I have been depressed since 12 (now 30) and the last 10 years my depression has been non stop (relatively high functioning though) and am not sure how am even alive. I will be trying magic mushrooms in a month or two. Did quite a lot of research on them, how they can actually cure severe depression. They are my last hope. Take care. ♥️

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been in a really bad depressive episode for months and I’m exhausted most days just from trying to take care of myself. I’ve gained so much weight and my bedroom is so messy it’s hard for me to be in there and most of the time I just feel disgusted with myself. This has been one of the worst episodes I’ve ever had and I’m still working through it, but as I’m watching this video I feel some of the tightness in my chest loosening up. It’s really nice to know I’m not alone. Thank you for being so vulnerable.

Why every depression vlog i see,the person is alone at home like literally there's no one in their home or they just film their video secretly?

It's so relieving to watch someone who living same experience with you. Literally I am feeling like I am watching myself, and this is do therapeutic, during depression we tend to be very harsh on ourselves, it really helps to realize that actually we are not alone in this journey. I did a search for "can't shower, get out of bed, severe depression" and found this video. I wonder how you are now? At around the 20:00 mark a guy (boyfriend?) gets into bed with you and I have no idea who it is, but there's no way in hell I'd cope with that. No man I know wouldn't turn that kind, caring, soft touch into a 'poke in the back' (if you know what I mean). I'd be tense the whole time, and be listening for their change in breathing and that switch into the focus on their own 'needs'. If there was any self care going on it wouldn't be mine.

I hate when .. people know your depressed cause of how you care for yourself..but it’s worse to share with people that see your energy as a burden. So no . Not talking is the worst habit and scariest “task” . Depression feels like a onion, too many layers that make you cry . Ah I feel slightly humbled getting that off my chest

I always wonder why people with depression have such happy playful ways sometimes like I can’t explain I know a young man that males people laugh and I make people laugh very few really know me I’m quite person stay to myself mostly I don’t know why iv been on antidepressants since 16 now I’m 47. If i don’t take my meds I feel like I can’t function sad I know iv tried so Many times to stop taking them because I want to be off them but I can’t now. But yea it’s weird but I pray allot that helps me
