the absolute worst trades ever for the chi sox
whitesox are the biggest clowns for passing on Jac Caglianone
Dodgers 2024 🏆
Jace is my pick. Jace is a much more polished hitter in my opinion than caglione. I just think caglione was a beast for college but it won't translate to the major leagues because of holes in swing. Laviolette reminds me of Austin meadows
Another banger keep it up Ryan 🔥
Good video man just subscribed
Lets go Os
I respect that you were humble about your past prediction. That's cool. Also it shows how much can change from draft day and how hard it is to predict especially the high schoolers
Part 2 Brady ebel?
Like the video but the Red Sox got 5 top 60 guys, have improved their pitching as well. Seems pretty low for them. Reds seems a little low too, very deep room of high upside arms with Ty Floyd, Zach Maxwell, Petty, Burns and Lowder. Yanks seems a little high and so do the White Sox.
nice Mario song
as an orioles fan, 22:51 LOLLL we do need one though ngl
Mets should be at to 10
Can we see a 2nd video
Nice video. I can tell you put a lot of work into it
The White Sox and A’s must feel dumb being locked out of the 25 lottery and going 10 and 11
thanks the gods for the new CBA
Conor norby was not the O’s top prospect.
the wording was a little off, was supposed to say “a top prospect”
@@AndItsGone oh ok. Makes sense!
Red Sox continually get underrated.
Royals at 26?! Bro forgot that the Omaha storm chasers are 2nd best AAA team in baseball rn, and they also got Cags as round 1 pick, and that the Columbia fireflies are also pretty good, Blake Mitchell and Austin Charles have been tearing it up down in Columbia, they’re I think 2nd in the division, otherwise Quad Cities and NWA are middle of the pack And keep in mind: Astros at 30!!!? Their AAA team is the only one ahead of the storm chasers, they at 70 wins💀
AAA rosters are mostly vets who've played some time in the majors or some other professional league, though are a few amazing top prospects
@@cam_naum4288 but AAA rosters are also filled with future young stars, they’re just one step away from the MLB, but yea a few are old
nice vid brother. cool to see myself on here
you earned it man! best wishes towards your upcoming season and the rest of your career
Confused how the Mariners have the consensus top farm system now and are at 10.
Not sure its consensus.
@@travisrowe7697 is there one that there isn’t?
Stop with showing the statistics of your channel. It just shows you have a lot of reach to actual users. If it was the other way around it would be worrying and sign of a decline of your channel.
Giants had a great draft imo
Astros traded thier future away after this so called Dynasty Astros will suck for years
I’m a big prospect guy, your list is solid. I’m impressed, and the people saying the dodgers are top 10 are absolutely nuts lol
none of these rankings are right becuase redsox and dodgers are top 10 farm system
Dodgers have a nice crop of international prospects emerging with Josue De Paula, Joendry Vargas, Emil Morales, Eduardo Quintero. Rushing, Zyhir Hope, Alex Freeland are all performing well and have good upside too. Jackson Ferris is probably one of the highest rising pitching prospects in the game right now. Edgardo Henriquez looks like another Felix Bautista throwing 104. System added young infield HS players in Kellon Lindsey and Chase Harlan. 17 seems pretty low for this system with all these high upside younger talents. Still too low of a ranking even if you aren’t including the prospects who are still eligible to be in farm system rankings but have debuted in the big leagues like River Ryan and Wrobleski.
Dodgers at 17 🧐
Five tool players need to get more credit than what they are currently receiving
Dodgers at 17 is ridiculous
Huge die hard Rays fan and I can say after the W*nder situation last year the overall morale among the fan base is optimistic as ever. I'd go as far as saying the Rays have the most to look forward to among all 30 franchises. Best farm system in baseball headed by Junior Caminero, Carson Williams, and Xavier Isaac, brand new ball park opening in 2028, and still a fairly competitive team in the MLB albeit the offense has been poor the pitching for us in the 2nd half has been 2nd to none.
And just to add, dope and informative video really enjoyed it keep up the work 👍🏻
i’d say the orioles still have the most to the look forward to the way they coach there guys up. they are all studs
@@winningpod7137 The orioles don't produce pitching like the rays do. But the Rays haven't been able to produce bats like the orioles but that is about to change real soon. You add the new ballpark and I'm going Rays over anyone else. I do admit camden yards is really nice tho. I'm not mad at you choosing the Orioles it's pretty neck and neck but I think a new park puts the rays over the top.
Red Sox farm is objectively top 5 and the Yankees one is objectively bottom 5. Cut that out.
and you're objectively biased
And YOU must be a Yankees fan...
@@AndItsGone you didnt do any research of these are right
@@justinalley3399 right, i just randomly thought of 150+ names to talk about and randomly write a 6200 word script about without researching about who or what i am talking about
@@AndItsGone name three Yankees top ten prospects that aren’t playing below expectation
They have one of the best farm system. And didn’t even mention harry ford.
Or Cole Young lmao
Mentioned Ford and Young in the last video and didn't talk about them this time because they haven't been performing particularly well this year and I wanted to highlight the lower level prospects
mariners at 10 is insane
Mariners at 10 while having 10 top 100 prospects lmao
At best you could make an argument that they could be as high as 8. While Young and Ford have been steady in double A playing against older competition, neither has been outstanding, Locklear has struggled in the major leagues, and most of the rising prospects have not hit that AA wall yet to truly separate themselves as elite prospects. Let's see in a year from now, when guys like Peete, Emerson, Montes, Parmelo, and most importantly Celesten make their AA debut and then I'll look at putting them in the top 5
they don't have 10 top 100 prospects
@@User-b9q2z Mariners 10 top 100 prospects? Who's the source, you? 🤣 Bro just making stuff up.
Mariners just dumped a good percentage of their top talent in the farm and their top prospects have only been alright in the minors. Top 10 is still a good spot to be when they're already a good team at the major league level.
what about seattle?
Rays are big winners
Great video! 👏 A good catchup for me on the years where I was a “resting” fan lol. Nice to see how the exciting team of today was built! 🙌
Orioles were winners, and here’s why: Orioles major issue for this race with NY is starting pitching depth and back end relief. The Orioles are a young team that is extremely momentum driven in games, and 9/10 games are decided in the first 4 innings. In games where their 3-5 starters allow 4 runs in the first 3 innings, and 0 in the latter 3 innings, the Orioles lose, but in games where that is reversed, they win. This was on full display in the double header against Toronto. Rogers and Efflin will generate a lot of Orioles wins as pitchers that tend to give up runs in later innings versus early innings. Then there’s the bullpen, which these starter additions send Suarez to the bullpen who has had an electric season and shows all the makings of being an absolutely dominate reliever like his brother in San Diego. We also get to see McDermott as a reliever who has tremendous swing and miss stuff, but control issues have made him a mediocre starter bc walks lead to big innings. As a reliever, he won’t be in the game long enough to have that become a problem. So now we have a closer by committee set up with Suarez, Dominguez, Soto and McDermott unless one of them shows complete and utter dominance to win the role, which makes this a victory for Baltimore in either scenario. Elias has already said he will pick up Dominguez’s option for 2025 so Rogers, Efflin, Dominguez and Soto will all be Orioles next year as well when Bradish and Bautista return from injury. The only rentals the Orioles acquired are depth position players that we will not miss at all next year, and we didn’t give up any good prospects for these rentals, but Elias did replenish the young pitching prospect depth with Patrick Reilly who is pitching to a sub 2 ERA in high A this year. This trade deadline was successful for Baltimore that not only are they now head and shoulders above every other AL team, but they might have taken care of next years trade deadline as well where we the only needs we will have are going to come from injuries. The most important reason why this deadline was a massive success is in the information between the lines, and that’s the fact that the Orioles did not go get a top of the rotation starter which means Rubenstein intends to stand by his previous statements and make a significant splash this winter with a big contract to Corbin Burnes and a moderately big contract to Santander as they are the only Orioles entering free agency next year aside from Ryan O’Hearn, Danny Coulombe and Craig Kimbrel. O’Hearn and Coulombe will almost certainly be back in 2025 and if Kimbrel proves to be an effective to elite middle reliever, he’s likely to get a corresponding contract as well because bringing this entire team back while Bautista and Bradish return from injury and Kjerstad, Holliday and Mayo become everyday position players will likely make the Orioles the favorites to win the fall classic in 2025 out of Spring, as well as the #1 team in the preseason power rankings of 2025. All the Orioles need is a deep October this season to turn this team into a dynasty where a game 7 ALCS loss or a World Series loss will be a massive season win for the organization, but these moves have given them the chance to find a spark in October and run the table like Texas did last year which will, in my opinion, all but guarantee a World Series repeat in 2025. The fact that people are saying the Orioles didn’t do what they could have done this deadline and gone all in for 2024 is exactly what this team needs, and that’s people underestimating them and failing to recognize how good they actually are which led to 101 wins last year, and can easily lead to a massive October this year. Look out for Colton Cowser and Jordan Westburg this postseason bc they’re going to be announcing their presence as perennial playoff performers this October, joining Gunnar Henderson who is 6 for 12 with a homer in 3 career postseason games. Orioles 2024 Postseason Roster(40): SP: Burnes, Rodriguez, Efflin, Rogers BP: Kremer, Suarez, Coulombe, Perez, Cano, Kimbrel, Dominguez, Soto, Akin, Webb Lineup: Cowser CF, Rutschman C, Henderson SS, Santander RF, O’Hearn DH, Westburg 3B, Kjerstad LF, Mountcastle 1B, Holliday 2B Bench Players: Mullins, Mayo, Urias, Pache, Mateo, Jimenez, Slater, L. Soto, McCann Bench Pitchers: McDermott, Tate, Povich, Baker, Smith, Zimmerman, Avila, Vespi That is the deepest, most effective roster in the American League by far, with only the Phillies being slightly better from a 26 man perspective on paper, but that has not translated to the field at all this year for Philly with their record being, in large, due to sub .500 opponents and home wins as they have posted a 27-22 road record with a 30-25 record against teams over .500 with 23 of those wins coming against teams less than 10 games over .500. The Orioles may not have made the moves people wanted them to make or the moves they potentially could have made, but they absolutely did everything to take them from potentially #1 in the AL to absolutely #1 in the AL.
Here's what I'll say about the Rangers. The moves they made were minimal in terms of what they cost the Rangers and still made the team better. I also get the sellers market, but the question I have as a fan is what do we even need? Young SP sure, Leiter, Winn and White have all MASSIVELY disappointed, but they haven't quit on Leiter, Kumar Rocker is back and Emiliano Teodo is lighting AA on fire. All 3 could factor into the 25 rotation and I think the Rangers would like at least one to do so. Evo may also be back in 25 due to his weird vesting option. Then in the field the question is asked, where's the opening? Langford is going to play LF, Carter is out for the year but is seen as the future at LF. Rangers just took 2 solid OF prospects in round 2 and 3 of the draft. Infield is locked unless they decide to move Lowe in the offseason. Factor in resurgent Josh Smith and Josh Jung at 3rd there just isn't a spot for an upgrade. I know the sellers market went crazy, but I also don't think the Ranger would have gotten an offer that would have moved the needle enough to be better than what they have both at the major league level both current (guys like Jung seager semien) and future (Langford Carter) and future prospective (Teodo Leiter Rocker).
Angels are so pathetic 🤦♂️ arte needs to sell already
My Braves were neither. Got soler back in Atlanta where he thrives. But also didn’t get another bullpen piece or consistent contact hitter
Love the Soler pick up. Do you not consider Luke Jackson a bullpen piece?
You missed the Cardinals. What gives.
cardinals and marlins were right there as winners in my opinion just missed the cut
Orioles did the Flaherty experiment last year did t work they weren’t gonna do that again
The astros by far are ahead in team talent they just need their rotation to be healthy and they probably win the division.
Marlins were a big winner for me, they completely revamped their top 10 prospect list and went from one of the worst farms to one of the best
i liked some of the moves (rogers and scott trades especially) but otherwise some packages were pretty middling
I feel that the orioles filled holes they had to fill with guys who are better than before. No hate cuz I love ur channel but I think the orioles had an awesome deadline
You missed the Mariners. Randy Arozarena was the biggest name moved this deadline and he's already homered for us. We got Justin Turner and Jimi Garcia from Toronto and picked up a former team legend in JT Chargois from Miami. Only time will tell how these adds actually help us or not but this was definitely a winner deadline from my M's
if they ended up getting another impact bat, I would have probably ended up putting them as winners, but they focused on the bullpen a little bit more, and I don't feel like that is the biggest need
As a Rays fan…Randy is gonna piss you off. Terrible fielder, terrible base runner(like the worst in baseball) and incredibly inconsistent at the dish. If he gets hot, he’s great. But he’s also susceptible to disappearing for months at a time. He gets pub for the 20/20, his big stage heroics and huge personality..but the Rays won this trade before we even know who the PTBNL is
Happy my Cubs bought and sell. We got some guys we could work on and got a nice young 3B who was better than Morel. We may not make the playoffs this year but I like 2025.
like the Paredes move for the Cubs, a good amount of team still left for a quality 3rd baseman, and not a lot in prospect capital given back
Good video everything looks right
While in the editing process, the Orioles would acquire Gregory Soto for Seth Johnson and Moises Chace. In my opinion, this is a slight overpay by the Orioles, and doesn’t change the winners or losers portion for both the the Phillies and Orioles. If anything, it just makes the cases stronger
Disagree firmly. You’re not reviewing this properly, imo. First, Elias has already said they’ll be picking up Dominguez’s option for 2025 so Rogers, Efflin, Dominguez and Soto will all be Orioles in 2025. Next, the majority of Orioles’ losses this year are a result of starting pitching, and the Orioles are a team that win or lose in the first 4 innings. Efflin and Rogers give up a majority of their runs when facing lineups the 2nd and 3rd times so when Efflin gave up 3 in his debut, he had a 6 run lead which means these two starters will bring in a lot more Orioles wins. Third, these additions sends Suarez to the bullpen and will likely lead to McDermott being tested in the bullpen who has tremendous swing and miss stuff with control issues so he could be a great reliever. At this point the Orioles have Suarez, Domingue, Soto and possibly McDermott competing for the closer role which means one of them will have to be absolutely lights out in that role to earn the spot over the next two months. This also sends Kimbrel down to a middle reliever giving you a quality reliever available situationally. Do not forget the Orioles have arguably their best reliever this year, Danny Coulombe, returning September 1st. The O’s also added a very good righty hitter for pinch, high leverage situations making their depth even more ridiculous. Next, trading Norby brings Holliday to the show, who hit a grand slam, and a 3 run homer that was taken away from him, in his first game back. The O’s also replenished their pitching prospect depth with Patrick Reilly who looks really good this year with new developments. Lastly, it is clear with these trades that Rubenstein, new team owner, intends to make his statement this offseason by signing Corbin Burnes. The Orioles made the moves that take them from the potential favorites of the AL this year to being the hands down favorites without question when you compare the oppositions. More importantly, with free agent contracts going to Burnes, Santander and O’Hearn/Coulombe, this entire team returns next year with the additions of Bradish and Bautista from injury, and Kjerstad, Holliday and Mayo becoming everyday players in 2025. The Orioles could not have been bigger winners from this deadline bc they did not sacrifice any talent they couldn’t afford to lose, they didn’t overpay for anyone bc all of the players they acquired have multiple years of team control regarding the players they gave up good prospects to acquire, and they completely fulfilled all of their gaps with the only question mark being who will be the full-time closer, but they have the ability to go closer by committee now that they have 2 new high quality arms in Soto and Domínguez with guys like Kimbrel, Cano and Coulombe who will be just as effective in the 9th if they’re used appropriately(Kimbrel against the bottom of the order, Cano against higher K rate hitters, Coulombe against multiple lefties). For conclusive evidence, look at the Orioles double header against Toronto where Efflin gives up 3, but does so after multiple scoreless innings leading to a big lead, whereas Povich gives up runs early and takes the wind out of our sails when the same runs allowed, just later in the game, would have clearly resulted in an Orioles win. Your review of the Orioles deadline moves just tells me you didn’t talk to anyone that watches the Orioles everyday and that you don’t personally know the Orioles that well either, because the only way it could have gone better would have been if they didn’t acquire Slater and L. Soto, and when is depth for virtually nothing(player to be named later or cash)in return a real problem? If this message is too long for you, I am about to post a summary comment for the Orioles now on this video.
How about the Mets ? I kind of liked their draft.
