For anyone wondering. There's a plastic part inside that pushes the part I'm pushing manually. That plastic part is broken, hence why it doesn't push the other tab. The parking break assembly needs to be replaced. It's quite easy and inexpensive if you get it in a yunk yard. I'll try to post the video this week.

No tengo idea cómo, pero conectar un cable extensor usb (macho-hembra) entre el computador y el cable del tablet solucionó el problema para mí. Te pasaste capo, yo ya me hacía la idea de tener que comprar un tablet nuevo.

Lo que me funcionó: ponerle un extensor de usb y probarla en otro pc donde si funcionó de una, después de esto ya me funcionó todo ok.

Hey everyone, I found what the problem was. The part ultimately needed to be replaced. Got one at the junkyard for $15. It wasn't too bad to replace. I'll post a follow up video soon.

Huion's odd- I love their tablet but they do have these glitches. I also noticed you can't play Origin games or launch RPG maker MV. The tablet worked for like- 4 years for me and now just suddenly started doing this. Thanks for the tutorial, it's a bummer there's no better fix but this is a great temp fix until I get a new computer-!

what worked for me: unninstall the driver; turn off the windows defender; then, install the latest version of the driver. But, even though, when i moved the pen, the cursor just showed in my notebook. What i did was: turn off the hdmi cable, not the usb; the driver will recognize, but just as a pen tablet; turn on the hdmi cable again; then, don't use your pen (if you use it, it'll disappear again). Guide yourself with the mouse or touchpad, in huion driver, go to > pen display > working area > and you'll see that the wrong monitor is selected. Just select the other monitor and boom! Solved.

Finals are due in 2 days! I took my tablet to class (didn't even use it bc they lock up the backs for the pc's at school so no way to plug in the HDMI) I came back home and this problem came up. Thankfully I had the extension cord already so i got it to work right away! super appreciate your help on this issue!

Make sure the black USB and the HDMI are the only cords plugged into your computer. My fiance had both or just the red usb plugged in my desktop and it had caused my pen not to work. Unplugged the red USB and plugged the black one in and the problem was fixed.

After releasing. Would you be able to keep using the brake and flip it to release again?

just buy a new trimmer head and installed it. You need to unscrew the screws that keep the motor cover in place, then hold the trimmer rotor at the opposite-top end of the motor with a plier and remove the trimmer head nut with another. Then install the new trimmer head.

re-installing drivers fixed it for me, tablet fully plugged in the pc then unistalled and installed drivers again
