Thank you.
So peaceful!
Thanks for watching.

Thank you,
I was born and raised in Forks 67 years ago in 1957!
It must have been a great place to grow up. It's a beautiful area.
Very nice! Thank you for the beautiful vids and peaceful music. Going there this winter.
Thank you for the nice comment. I hope you have a good time there. Winter is definitely the time to go.
This is another drive I was hoping you were going to do. How challenging it must have been to originally build those massive switchback setups over the mountains. That's a lot of blasting. But such a beautiful area.
Alright. We can check another one off your wish list. And just for giggles, after a few more videos, we'll drive much of this same route in the opposite direction. I agree that this road is truly a wonder. I thought about how much work went into building this road and others like it back in the day. It certainly took a lot of planning to get the route just right so they could scale the mountain and keep the grade just right. Anyhow, thanks for watching. Take care.
@@ASunnyAdventure That's neat because I'm sure there's just as much of an interesting view the other direction. Speaking of other direction, that's what you did on this one with the parkway. I know you did the other direction last year when you visited here.
@@davidborrink137 Yes, this road was interesting no matter which way I was going.
Thank you for this beautiful reminder of the area where I lived as a child in Fraser, Colorado. I have forgotten how beautiful it is! I have not been back for many years. And, the music is fantastic! Thank you so much!
Your comment made my day. Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is a beautiful area, and I'm happy I had the chance to visit and film it.
Mashallah God bless you ❤
Thank you.

Beautiful! What a bright, sun-shiny day!
Yes, it was a great day. Thanks for watching.
Great video, too bad we can not hear the sound of traffic in Provo!
Thanks for watching.
Excellent road trip! Choice of music is so relaxing for this. Thank you.
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.
Simplesmente fantástico, lindo dimais, nota mil mil mil ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you liked it.
Driving through these towns, I wonder what it would be like to live there surrounded by such vistas. This is a different look at Colorado from so many other videos. Thanks.
That's a good question. It would be beautiful, but you'd have to be okay with snow in the winter. Thanks a lot for watching.
A lot to like on this drive. You had great weather, too. Lots of great open vistas and the scenery changes so often along this route. Great music choices, too. A very enjoyable ride.
Thanks, David. I generally couldn't have asked for better conditions for this drive. The second part of the drive was all new to me, and the drive through that steep canyon just popped up out of nowhere. It was a nice surprise. As always, thanks for watching.
@@ASunnyAdventure Yeah, this drive was full of sudden changes and surprises. That canyon did seem to pop out of nowhere. Like when that tall pointed peak shows up about a 1/3 of the way in out in the open. It suddenly becomes visible after a few bends and around a hill. Wow. It's really a ride full of surprise views.
@@davidborrink137 Yep. I enjoy surprising roads like this. Sometimes I'd rather go 1000 miles to get on a road like this than drive across town.
رحلة قيادة جميلة جدآ ورائعة..! شكرآ لك 😂👏🏼👑
Thank you for watching.

Thanks for watching.
我很喜歡這些地方
Thank you for watching.
I thought there was a good chance you might do this drive in this video, since your last video ended at Dinosaur and that you hadn't gone this way before. Another nice drive with lots of good "lonely road" sections, especially the scenic valley vistas coming over hills. There's something about a straight long road out in the open, toward the next hill.
I didn't really know what to expect from this drive going in. I knew the first part of the drive was going to be rather desolate. It was a pleasant surprise to encounter the hilly terrain with long views of the road ahead. The first half of the next video will revisit the part of US 40 between Steamboat Springs and Kremmling that I drove last year, but in the second half we'll keep going and explore a stretch of US 40 that was new to me. Anyhow, I appreciate you watching. Talk to you later.
@@ASunnyAdventure I wondered if this was going to be a US-40 trip. Yes, I remember that stretch you mentioned. I think there was some great cloud activity on that one as well. So something old and new on this next one.
Hello 1 my dear the scenery is beautiful keep it up.. ❤❤🎉❤❤
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Such remoteness on this stretch and it's unique that you go into Utah and back into Colorado again to visit the end. Nice vistas from the end lookout. And I would imagine you found a full service car wash as soon as possible when you were done. I can't imagine the population numbers of that swarm of crickets. My word.
Oh, man. You can't imagine what the car looked liked. The lower half of the car body was just caked with dead crickets. It smelled bad, too. Yes, we got it washed as soon as we could. As far as the road is concerned, it is definitely a prime example of a remote road. I was kind of hoping for a little more dramatic scenery and less just driving through sagebrush-covered hills. It's still a unique route, though, and I'm glad I did it.
@@ASunnyAdventure Yeah, it would have been a hilarious ending to the video to have you end up in the nearest small town and have you drive into a car wash and fade out at that point.

Beautiful landscapes. What is the name of the camera you are using..?
Thank you. I use GoPro cameras. This was shot mostly with a GoPro Hero 11.
US highway 395 is only dangerous if the traveler makes it dangerous because there are areas where highway 395 is only one lane in each direction and I have seen drivers crossing over to pass on the wrong side of the road where this highway is one lane each way. Will the one lane section of US 395 in Olancha ever be widen to a four lane expressway?
What an incredibly picturesque drive this is. Mile for mile it really stands out. I really, really liked this one because the scenery was so fascinating and the cloud shadows put on a heckuva show. It was pretty cool to see their movement on the hills so defined, and you even drove with them in a few spots.
Yes. This was a case where I saw a road on the map that was going in the general direction I wanted to head. I had never been on this road, but the map and street view images looked promising, so up the road I went. It certainly did not disappoint. Sometimes the most interesting roads are not the ones that all the tourists flock to.
@@ASunnyAdventure Like CO-141. Way out of the way and not near any major attractions, and yet, wow.
A really unexpected and wonderful landscape. Thanks for sharing!
It was unexpected to me, too. This road was a lot more interesting than it appeared to be on a map. Thanks for watching.
The roads in the West are always an incredibile source of beauty!
Iloved the beautiful view ❤❤😊❤❤
Good ❤❤🎉❤❤
Thank you.

Thanks.
Nice trip and cold music 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤!
Thank you.
I'm blessed to call this area home ❤
You're lucky. It's a beautiful area.
And I watch the end of this and loved the last stretch with the shadows draped on the hills, the lighting, and the music (Million Years) was perfect for the end of this. You picked a few of my favorite tunes that you've used before during those winding valley areas (Candelion, I had to purchase a few of those after hearing them on your Colorado-to-Kansas trip last year). Thanks again for going down the "less travelled" roads and for using music that is lesser-known but worth the hearing. I have a suggestion for those who don't like the music: use the mute button.
Once I got off highway 24, this was a new route to me. I'd seen it on the map, and it looked somewhat interesting, so up the road I went. It turned out to be a great "less traveled" road. Just like I like them to be. I'm glad you like the fact that I use music in my videos, and I'm impressed that you even bought some of it. It would be a lot easier to put together a video without having to consider what music to use and how to order the songs, etc. It actually takes a lot of effort to get it just how I want it, and it's very subjective as to whether it's good or not. However, I don't feel the need to be just like some other channels. Doing the videos the way I do them is somewhat of an outlet for me, so as Frank might say, "I'll do it my way." Thanks, David, and have a nice day.
@@ASunnyAdventure It's interesting the way many others do their road trip formats, and I prefer your method. There are some that do it without music and I like some of those, too. But yours has an appeal I like. I actually have a music playlist called "music from road videos" that contains tracks that I've liked from yours and others that do music. It's good background music for work (I'm a graphic designer).
@@davidborrink137 Yes, I agree. There are some good videos out there with and without music. It's just a matter of taste. I also watch other types of videos such as hiking, camping, RVing and general travel videos, and it's interesting to notice what music is used in these videos. Many video creators use the same music service that I do, and I often hear them using the same songs I use. Once in a while someone will use a song I like that I haven't run across yet, and I try track it down. It's optional to include a list of songs with the video. However, I like to give credit to the artists, and it is a good way for me to remember what I did.
@@ASunnyAdventure It's appreciated that you do the playlist because a number of times I'll be watching a scene and I'll want to know who is performing the track you're using. I'll put the artist's name in iTunes, call up the "songs" list and try a few titles listed if you have a number of tracks by the same artist in order to find the one I'm looking for, but I'll find it and then purchase. As a creative person I appreciate being able to support other creators. So you're actually providing them a good service by using and promoting them and I've given them support as a purchase. So I bought "Million Years" last night and added it to my playlist. No joke... I have probably 35-40 tunes used in your videos in that playlist.
@@davidborrink137 Great! I'm happy you've made good use of my lists. I appreciate you letting me know this.
Olá sou do Brasil.
Better music of tne motor.

Fantástico esse vídeo, valeu a pena tirar tempo para assistir, nota mil mil mil ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
Thank you for watching. I'm glad you liked it.
This ride was one of those "hope you do that" wishes which I mentioned a while ago. I've seen this drive on a time-lapse version going northbound, and a couple versions going southbound as normal, but was so glad to see you do northbound but in your style. And (applause) you STOPPED on the hogback and took some panoramic footage. Well done. One part that really fascinated me was around the 2 hour mark where you're into that wooded stretch. I don't know what type of trees those are, if they're birch or what but they contrast the evergreens by having those "tufts" on top of such tall lighttrunks. Just a spectacular drive.
This was a drive I'd been meaning to do for a while. I was happy to finally get to it. I'd been on this road once before (pre-RUclips) and it knocked my socks off then. It didn't disappoint this time either. In fact, it was even better than I remembered. As far as the trees are concerned, I'd say either aspen or birch. I'm not sure which. Anyhow, I'm glad you liked the drive. It will be interesting to see how my upcoming videos align with your "wish list."

That's so free land space on your trip, it's beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤!
Thank you. I glad you enjoyed it.
Wow. Such breathtaking scenery in the final several minutes. You see a number of photos people take of Bryce, but you really captured how big, vast, and unique this place is. And the clouds really added to the mystique. What a day you had there. Fabulous still shots, too.
Thanks, David. We couldn't have had a better day or better sky conditions even if we could custom-order these things. I'm glad that you were able to see the vastness and uniqueness, because that's exactly what I was trying to convey in some of the shots. Anyhow, our visit to Bryce was somewhat brief as we were just passing through. This video covers the first half our day. The second half will be coming soon.
A nice driving tour ❤❤❤❤!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
BRYCE IS SIMPLY the most sensitive, artistic, nuanced and inexplicable of all the SW parks and monuments. Its peculiar otherwordliness soothes all that will remain a mystery to and during one s brief existence on this strange, war-torn planet we call home. Its physical, visual oddities are a sort of therapy. They create illusions that are real and tangible no matter how metaphysical they appear ; and probably indeed are as well. They remind us of the meaninglessness of time-spacial reality and give us a promise of something greater, purer and truer in the coming/going hereafter. The stills in the end confirm this once again. Grand View Point is a work of art of an unknown artist ...Happy to be alive even if WW3 may commence any week now. So devilish the powers that be - are. A prayer 4 peace is a necessity for any living soul to delve unto.
Congrats ! Quality clarity again. Have driven this several times 88,90,91. A satisfied customer from 🇫🇮
