      You can try with agar agar powder. I haven't tried with it yet so can't really give you an answer. As gelatin is the prime ingredient that makes the flowers flexible.

    “FREEZE” the butter? “FREEZE” the dough? ARE YOU SURE? Are you sure you don’t mean REFRIGERATE? Otherwise it’s going to be a disaster 😮 and I don’t wanna waste my ingredients

      It is freeze....if you refrigerate it will be more of a disaster as butter will seep through when you roll the dough. Butter will soften faster than the dough due to heat from your palm...so don't worry.

      Well, if you use water bath, the baking time may vary. Once baked, insert a toothpick at the center and see if it is baked completely or not.

      @@BakeandToss I ask as I would like to double - make it 8 inch - my oven is quite strong in power - you state 76 minutes cooking period for an 8 inch pan - seems a long time but perhaps @ 160 C - that is what is needed - Or simply one begins to control at the 60 / 70 minute mark - I will try and let you know - Thank you for answering my question - By the way - Congratulations ! You are very gifted & talented and you have a beautiful YT channel.

      6 egg whites. Please weigh the egg whites separately and use as per the quality mentioned. As eggs have different weights based on their sizes. I used medium sized eggs weighing around 60g each including shell weight.

      Well if you don't want to use orange flavor then please check out my other chiffon cake recipes. Vinegar doesn't add flavor but rather it's used as an agent to build up egg whites into perfect meringue. All my chiffon cakes have vinegar or lemon juice for this purpose. Hope you understand now. 🙂

      Well u can try my orange Chiffon Cake. It's completely free of eggy smell. The point is to remove those tiny white strings called chalaza attached to egg yolks. You can watch it in my orange cake recipe, in it I do show how to remove the chalaza from egg yolks.

      Hi! Well AP flour and corn starch is used as thickeners in this recipe. You can replace the flour with same amount of corn flour if you like.

      If you plan to bake together two 6 inch cakes, you will need to double the baking time mentioned. Also check if the cake is completely baked or not using a toothpick test at the end of baking. If needed increase the baking timing 5 to 10 mins. 😊

    I noticed that you start by mixing flour with warm oil..doesn’t that cause over mixing and cake turns to bread?

      The hot oil destroys the protein in flour, preventing it from generating gluten. Therefore, with hot oil method, the gluten won’t form no matter how hard you stir the mixture. Also remember not to over heat the oil beyond 70C as it will burn the protein in flour and prevent the cake from rising high. The principle behind this method is that after the oil is mixed with the flour, the oil surrounds the flour particles, effectively preventing the formation of gluten. Gluten is formed only when flour is mixed with water or any other liquids. Hence in chiffon cakes we mix flour with oil first and later with milk. Hope this information helps you understand. 😊

      Well, compound chocolate tends to quickly set and crust hence it isn't an ideal choice for this recipe. I would only recommend chocolate with cocoa butter. You can use chocolate chips or baking chocolate.

    I’ve made this many times too,actually corn starch no need to be sief,and gelatine I just mix it with water let it be about 2-3 minutes,room temperature,then microwave it,and liquid can be replaced as cream cheese or pure milk. When the piping dough too hard I usually add cream cheese or corn Sirup to make it softer,it’s really convenient ,since I have this I don’t use white bean paste anymore
