These watches despite being exceptional, robust with the breitlight, extremely light and so comfortable always get so much stick from people calling them plastic and being critical of the super quartz. They are so nice in hand. It’s not cheap but I honest think these watches are so good I bought an orange and then a blue. Bought my first due to wanting a bretlight watch in my collection and it is so little fuss with being quart I don’t need to set and wind every time I wear like all my others. Some watches are so uncomfortable and heavy despite looking fantastic, this wouldn’t be my best looking watch but god it’s so light and comfortable. Reason for the quartz is thin and lightweight.

In my opinion it was a mistake removing the date from the 2024 Superocean , this generation is the more useful watch and better looking as I see it . Solid choice , I have six Superoceans total and love every one of them . Bought my first one in 2011 and have three first gen rubber bezel (2 44s and one 44 chronograph ) 1 just like yours and both colors 44 special . That’s a great watch that will last several lifetimes. Everyone worries about using dawn dishsoap to clean leather. It is unfounded. Dawn is gentle. And your conditioning replaces any oils stripped by the detergent.

Longines vs Tudor…… I love Tudor but they’re just too damn thick! Longines is definitely catching up to Tudor and is very good value for money. You get a lot of watch for what you pay for

I was stubborn about taking the shoe tree advice but I wish I would’ve listened. Cedar shoe trees make all the difference when it comes to smell. I have a pair that I didn’t use and trees and they stink up the room when I take them off. Have another pair I used trees with and they don’t smell a bit

Don't throw them away when the soles wear out! Get them resoled. That's part of the reason why heritage-construction boots are so awesome.

Nice presentation. Sharp Avenger. You are correct, there is something about Breitling. They are absolutely bulletproof. I have a Sub I purchased new in 2006, a Tudor BB GMT, two Tag Carrera's, and I had a SuperOcean that I traded in on the new Tudor. I miss the SuperOcean. I am looking at buying a new 43 Avenger now. Breitling has the build quality, the great history, an outstanding name, and really are an ideal watch.

I just bought a pair of these in the steel toe version for work. Very comfortable. I’m gonna buy a pair of the soft toe ones just to wear. I wear a 10.5 D in the Thorogood 8inch Moc so I got a 10.5 D in the Danners and they were too big so I had to send them back and get a 10. Out of the 3-4 different brands I wear 3-4 different sizes lol. 11 Tennis shoe and an 11 will swallow me while in any of these boots.

Yes. I'm a longshoreman and we get red wing vouchers for work boots that we MUST wear, we can wear other brands but they have to go through a process to get the ok. and if we aren't wearing approved boots in an injury or death, both of which are many, any claims are void. My feet can't handle cardboard shoes, vans, converse etc, and since I ride a motorcycle and my hobby is also that, what do i wear when I'm not at work? Iron Rangers, they come in widths, fit like gloves, and last.

Despite my preference to Viberg, I have a special place on my heart for oak street. When it comes to oak street, I have 1 pair field boot, 1 pair trench boot, 2 pairs of derby shoes, & 2 pairs of trench oxfords. Out of the footwear I just mentioned, the trench oxfords are my favorite. It’s like wearing a boot without wearing a boot. Built like tanks.

They are NOT a sports watch and NOT durable. Mine has always fallen off my wrist whenever I do anything remotely active. The buckle has flex in it so the pin pings out very easily, then, when it fell off on a road the buckle rear bar snapped off completely. It is not metal but some sort of composite, so breaks. If you call Breitling they just tell you to read the warrenty which excludes the strap and buckle. Just lovely they are. It is not fit for purpose, stick to G-Shock and save a couple of grand.

SSK001 was issued by Seiko at 2022. I owned SSK003, love it. I have saw tons of review, none of the reviewer said this SSK001 is bad. It seems the best Seiko product in 2022. The new movement 4r34 have done a evalution in the industry, unlimited numbers of GMT watches come out in this two years. Seiko did a great job. Thank you for your video.

Sorry to hear that yours doesn't run well. It's the typical Seiko lottery. Mine runs within COSC norms.
