Wtf?
How did you acquire this unit?
Bro casually does a fire alarm test in the backrooms
i never really never understood these types of horns, just sounds like a loud vent
That building sounds like it has explosive diarrhea because those horns sound horrible those horns are definitely old it definitely reminds me of my school years when I was in school I always why they would put such loud horns in portables they were so loud that it could destroy eardrums those portables always had old horns like simplex or Edward’s or any other old horns the most popular one was old simplex horns I now miss my old school days I used to hate fire drills now I’m fascinated by these old horns the 80s and 90s were the days
Casually has a 1000 DB Federal Siren in his Office
the resonators are very loose on those
It has no wallpaper
Sounds like a German song
0:25 fire alarm testing in the back rooms
Choo Choo
I need this in my life
Wow... I've been trying to find this carillon sound! It is butefull.
the model 2 is my favorite siren
😂
a lot of stupid people think higher pitched alarms are more effective it’s about less current draw for the client but possibly money grabbing for the manufacturer because you have to install more to be as effective
Sounds like there is a MASS and a 9806 in the background
There’s another system just like this at the Boscov’s in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania.
This kinda looks like The Backrooms
Could have left it that sounds pretty "healthy"
I am dumbfounded by the length of this train pulling so many and various cars. The location was well chosen to help with a wonderful and educational video. Thank you fir trains and pipe organ
Are you sure this is safe sir
That's scary
Bro the bugler will be deaf and faint saying "man im ded"
I Absolutely Love Trains 😎🥰🥳😍🤩🙂
simplex 2903-9838s in a simplex 4005 system but a wheelock mt is replaced from a bad horn
old est edwards adaptahorns on a est edwards 6500 panel system
Its a model 2 siren
Oh my gosh that has got to be painfully loud for a burglar alarm system. Way louder than Edwards adaptahorns at that
I wonder if it is a Wheelock MT4?
Fire alarm *REEEEEEEEEE*
Thought i should share history on my school. My school was built in 1965 and originally has quite a few simplex 4037s and one 4032. Around 10 years later their was an addition that added 4 adaptahorns and 270 spo's. 5 years later their was a fire that wiped out part of the original section with the 4037s. They added a new gym and fixed it up with the fire alarms being 4050s or something along the lines. Im not sure what they where. Then in the early 80s they remodled and added simplex 2903 light plates, 9838 horns and a new panel. Not sure what it was. In the 90s the whole building was replaced with 4903 9219s. Most alarms where retrofitted out with the main alarm cut out to fit the 4903s. The part with the 2903s had an electrical issue and burnt to the ground. It was removed and in 2007 they built a new addition with truealerts. And thats whats in the building today. However upstairs theirs 4 4047s still their but their not active. The years are estimated.
The gentex commander replaced the Edwards mechanical horn
This presentation is a gem. Thank you for your post. Blessings for Thanksgiving
From what I’ve noticed in this video the really old smoke detector activated with the smoke can you used but the fire alarms weren’t going off. It seems to be that the fire alarms didn’t work. Well I would have LOVED to have the old Pyrotronics smoke detector and the edwards system with the adaptahorns.
I disconnected the horns because the place was occupied. I tested them later.
@@armorsecsys On ok that makes sense
*RUclips may have problems playing the audio on certain videos, this must be the one that the audio stopped working but they fixed it.*
Was this alarm test before the the store opened for business hours or was the the store brand new before the grand opening? because there were no customers
Code 3 is a very popular coding option
It's because it has been required as of 1990's
Awesome
is anyone else not able to hear the video?
These Edwards adaptahorns are some of the LOUDEST alarms I even know of along with the Simplex 4030 and the Autocall AC horns. I’ve heard an Edwards adaptahorn in person and it was no joke. Image school fire drills with these alarms! 😂
oh yeah they’re in every hallway at my school. fire drills always scare the crap out of me.
I work in a car wash tunnel that has an adaptahorn as the conveyor starting warning alarm, and it just shreds your ears at any time
This video is perfect for a hair cut prank on your friend!
Your camera is fucking crap
Awesome
When I lived in Michigan my ninth 10th and 11th grade year, the high school there had the old alarm like that as well, when I moved to New Mexico to start my senior year there they had an upgrade with those red ones, but they were the ones before the strobe lights but then, of course, the alarms in the hall would go off, and you would hear short tones through the PA system intercom. But these alarms hear I remember went off during choir practice and a couple of times in the gym and one time in the gym locker room when we were changing our clothes to get ready for class right after the tardy bell rang. Those were the days.

Imagine a Federal Signal Thunderbolt
"okay boss, got the new siren, where do you want us to put it?" Yeah just smack dab into some offices please. It'll make a great decor piece.
