    I have reviewed many guitars here on RUclips.... and have 10 just sitting here waiting for me to review... Cost of guitars today..... It is crazy what you can get for the 300.00-dollar guitar. Really a lot of great guitar at the 500.00-to-800.00-dollar guitar. If you look around and play ... once you hit the 1,600-to-2,400-dollar price mark.... It becomes you just want it.... You can get anything you want at the 2,400-price point. A true custom guitar... My go to guitar is an 89 Peavey Nitro Active 2nd 90 Peavey Vandenberg 3rd 86 Kramer Pacer IMP.... All super guitars ! I have a new Kramer ( Gibson ) witch is also great .. paid 600.00 NEW off the floor at guitar Center. Map price was 1,100.00 I also have a Fender FMT Tele .... paid 1,000.00 my point is these are all great. I own 25 guitars... they all have something. What I see is in AMPS.... Most of the newer amps are just not built well.... Tubes on boards.... Cheap Transformers.... Cheap jacks... You have to spend BIG dollars to get good tube amps.... This is why I still play my 30 year old RACK MOUNT Tube amp system.... with old 20 bit DSP's I found myself really seeing more and more BS products after I started my RUclips channel. I wanted a channel that was 100% NO BS. I found myself seeing what the vendors do to push new products..... I Love Music and Playing. I hope people can see through the fake channels and watch channels that try to be honest. I have watched your channel for some time and I like how you do things ! ! ! ! just my 2 cents ! ! ! !

    Thanks Mike, i have the r8 had it for years, love it and it has never had an issue, neither has my buddies r8. Now i need to check the battery inside! Zoom has a new replacement for the r8 its a touch screen deal. Its called the r12 but get the r20 16 channel one. Everything that has an internal cmos battery should have a label stating it!

    I noticed you connected the red positive wire to the opposite pole from how it was on the original speaker - and it works. If there are no "+' or "-" markings on the speaker, does it really matter which way you connect those lead wires? Thank you.

    Cool to hear your thoughts on the Japanese Greco Strats. What do you think of the quality circa 1983-1985 (the years I lived in Japan)?

    • @USTTRM
      @USTTRM 24 дня назад

      I think from 77'-90 you can't go wrong or too wrong, so quality only improved since the 70s. Thank you for taking the time to watch and reply!

    Excellent , informative video on Greco brilliant guitar. I was lucky to pick one up at a flea market in Japan last week .. for $200 , in near mint condition, Honeycomb finish , Rock Spirits model - with a very unusual one screw bolt on neck , unplugged , the sustain on it rings out like a bell, nb In Japan they cost as much as some lower priced Gibson Lest Pauls ( Standard )

    Yup a roland jc-120 jazz chorus i bought it cause i was a huge albert king fan and bought it cause of him and was impressionable..it didn't take long for me to realize when i think of the ideal amp tone it is black brown and tweed fender.... good crystalline sparkling cleans and good natural tube distortion... the roland was way too stiff for my taste and i sold it....i got a 90 fender 63 reissue vibroverb and my fender 59 tweed bassman

    I like the background story of this guitar. I have one exactly like this, champagne sparkle, bigsby style tremolo, 2K pickups. And a buddy to it, a dark blue one with humbuckers and no tremolo. Bought them on a sale twenty years ago. Both very nice guitars, but heavy as hey ho! Much bigger and heavier than a Les Paul. Very good pickups though, and very well built all around. Extremely good guitars.
