I missed that the B1 uses the larger tiles, and accidentally glues them to a smaller. Fortunately I could remove them without too much hassle.

I created a team but when I try to register in The Pirate Crew, it won't let me. The option is greyed out.

Old ‘game’ that is long overdue a re-write. There’s barely a game in the box, combat is abstracted to the point that it doesn’t feel like WWII. Units are bland, card mechanics are basic, there’s no feeling of being in control or playing off against your opponent. No real resource management, its just a borefest. I really wanted this game to be good, a nice simple yet tactical WWII game but sadly its just a tired, dated borefest reskin of a below average system.

I appreciate this content but the terrain is in the wrong location. that forrest on the right flank is incorrect.

Good to see you guys finish it! In my experience, the Ranger is definitely OP. The rogue can be very strong as well, and the berserker. There are many house rules on BGG that are easy to implement to make the game more challenging. It's certainly a bit harder with 3 players because you get the extra spawn portal, but it also takes longer to play. Due to this, I would generally not play this with more than 3 players, as you mentioned. I recently finished this campaign with my son, so it was fun to watch these play throughs. Thanks!

The 1st boss tile after the door is backwards. The tree clearly doesn't connect/align to the other tile.

It can definitely be a lot to track and easy to miss an ability as you level up. Some tips we use to help keep track of everything - slide the cards halfway out of the dashboard when you've used their ability, flip ability cards over when using them or use some kind of token to put on the cards when you've used them. This is especially helpful for "once per round" abilities. 1:23:20 you draw the 2 tokens from the bag, not take 2 epics! Again at 1:29:45 getting 2 rares. I think you were looking at the back of the treasure token, which is only for 1-shot scenarios. Aww man, bosses activate after EACH hero's turn, not after all heroes like typical enemies. You also can't put fire on him while any corruption tokens are on the tile. That's why it felt way too easy! That makes a HUGE difference. The LoS / diagonal discussion 1:46:30 had me cracking up! "I know I can't see diagonally..." but I can shoot diagonally!? LOL good stuff. I loved when you said "you gonna curve your arrows!?" haha. You were right, he had to move. 1:57:07 when you showed the rulebook, right above LINE OF SIGHT it says "Like movement, attacks are orthogonal. Heroes and Enemies can never attack diagonally. Fun to watch tho! You put a lot of effort into the videos with all the effects, camera angles, etc. Just need to polish up on the rules. ;)

Nice finish guys! That was a lot of fire! Great use of that helm, and not cheating at all. Fire can be crazy good. One thing that happened prior is the Ghoul ate a mob leader, and healed, but they can only eat minions. Don't think it impacted the outcome though. Great to get revenge from the 1st attempt! Well done!

Brutal! This is a tough scenario and varies greatly based on the roaming monster that's drawn.

Fun playthrough! I think you could have won in the end by just running away and taking the 2 damage. The game technically ends as soon as the round marker hits the 4 - you don't get to play that round. Also, you cannot keep more than 7 items from quest to quest, and you lose any loot tokens that you do not spend in the town phase. You can also only gamble once per town phase, as noted on the town card. You don't keep them from quest to quest. Just some notes for others that come across these in the future.

Oh man you talked about the hindering pillar a lot, and then completely ignored its effect when attacking the roaming monster from range 3 times! And then talked about it again after killing that monster and considering attacking the next one. Happens all the time tho, and still enjoying watching these! Just screaming internally a bit, haha. :)

Always enjoy watching playthroughs. Haven't finished this one yet, but noticed some mistakes early on. 1. You can't use abilities more than once per combat (e.g. can't use rogue's character ability to spend mana to reroll more than once per combat). 2. The ranger only uses his arrow cards for ranged attacks (e.g. can't use them when doing a melee attack in your zone). Did you guys finish the campaign?

They need a better system for droids. Currently sitting here waiting for kalani to dry hating every second of this. I can't believe I have 6 b1s to do.

When you were showing the two speedpaint figures, the one you thought was lighter was because the primer was a brighter white.

At 36'13" you must first lay the tokens 1 & 2 and then you must lay out the tasks from left to right starting with the first task token.Then the commander needs to take one of the task en the player left from the commander must fulfill the other task. The number one task needs to be fulfill first and then task number 2.

At 18'42" the player left from the commander needs to take the second task card . The commander always take the first task and the others must choose clockwise from the commander. See rulebook pag 9 .

I love videos like these and they all looked pretty good on regular primer. Very good video! Here is some constructive criticism for your new channel meant to help it grow. The video seems to be more about primer differences. It would have been nice to also have a typical brush on white primer (citadel or vallejo) for comparison. Also, not having the faces painted really limits the comparison. The main thing I got out of the video is that they all look pretty good on standard white spray primer, so go with the cheapest one in your area. I have been using a warm light flesh tone (Vallejo Basic Skin Tone) base over a white primer and then adding AP Crusader Skin for most of my Caucasian skin tones. Good luck and keep the videos coming:)

Splodge paints - just splodge it on!!!

Informative video. I've seen others where Xpress tends to create a flat shade and runs into crevices to 'blackline' them, rather than create a gradient across the surface. I like the results you git here, but after hearing your opinion of a couple of Xpress colours skimping on the contrast, do you think the viscosity has something to do with all that? Is Xpress just a little too thin?

Mistakes with speed paints are so much more forgiving thanks to the reactivation. A little water can clean back any mistakes, and when moving to a darker colour you don't even need to worry. Just paint over with the darker speed paint and reactivate the mistake and the small amount of pigment just blends into new colour. Honestly one of my favourite features of speed paint vs contrast, and it even works here in Australia where even speed paints dry in a couple of minutes.

By their name based on brand, but there are too many now, so most use either contrast or speed for shorthand. Warcolour has Antithesis, Scalle75 has Instant etc etc. Theyre all the same family, so AP and Citadel naming conventions usually take over

I finally got mine delivered after a long wait, not tried them all yet but I am liking what I have tried. My first go with contrast/speed/.express paints. I have found they dry and thicken rather quickly on a pallet, and a wet pallet is a must if you are painting more than a single mini.

I them by whichever brand I've primarily used most recently, so mostly speedpaints, even though theres some GW and Vallejo in the mix now.

I think when the new speed paints from Army painter come out, they will be much better and should have their issues fixed.

Thanks for the gameplay videos and your final thoughts on this. I may have missed it, but did you play the Kickstarter or Retail version? It looks like the retail version (but I don't think there are any differences except more stuff in the KS version.) Also, do you think you'll play through it again with different characters for your own enjoyment? Or is this a one time play type of game for you?
