Everyone needs to understand. Ranger is not ranger anymore been that way for 7 years now or so. It's a mass production boat that bass pro shops owner could care less if it's messed up after u buy it. Read ppls comments on ranger problems on internet and stop buying this piece of sh boat. O and triton also.

I don't know about lithium batteries. I have friends that have them, but I have also done some reading. As you know, there have been a lot of explosions and fires from lithium batteries. Computers, automobiles, vape pens, electric bicycles and toys. I read that being overcharged and under charged can cause the battery to heat up and possibly catch fire. Afraid of those kinds of issues and what the results could be.

How does anyone afford this anymore ?

Sadly the instruction still says the terminator should be yellow or red. This proves that blue also works!

I like Skeeter but what about the RIDE at low RPMs? I hear that they bounce(porpose) below those RPMs. One has to get above that for it to give you a smooth ride. Have they redesigned the hull yet? Everybody talks about top end speed but what about the ride getting there?

My dad was a BASS tournament fisherman. Ran a 18ft Ranger with a Mercury. Sam Rayburn was tough on a windy day! Now that he is gone. I really want a Skeeter, but don’t like a Yamaha! Can you let me know on an average day what boat and motor combo is a smoother ride? Say at 50 mph.

The unit needs to be placed at the front of the motor if not you may experience connectivity problems.

I run 5 graphs live foot livescope power poles on 3 50 amp hr iconic lithiums. I can fish 8 hr still have 67% left on the batteries. You will probably loose a little speed with lithiums .

2nd gen is way better

My ranger came shipped on a truck with the torsion axles rolled up. I rolled them back down problem solved.

I owned a Ranger 361v. It was a nice Safe, boat but it was so heavy that it tore up 5 different motors. therefore i will never own another Ranger boat. I own an Allison craft now and i can pick the boat up with 1 hand and put it on the trailer hitch.

I have an 07 Z21 I got August 2022 running a 26P tempest with only 110 hours on it. I’m north of 300 and I hit 72 with 80% fuel capacity. I only wish it had the latest technology but other than that I wouldn’t change a thing. Nice boat enjoy her.

Adding a hydraulic jack plate will not help you to plane off any faster...you need to remove weight from the back of the boat ( lithium batteries) and/or a different prop

Get an Ionic 125amp for all your cranking battery. I have a 520L 250Mercury 16LIVE 2×12live up front 1 for AT Plus all the other stuff that is needed and my battery never goes below 45%charge during a tournament. Has them for 3yrs no problem

How long of rods can you fit in the center storage.

It depends on your application. For me on lake belton / stillhouse the docks are out of the water right now. I have an ultrex on my G3 and I wish I had poles to assist with keeping my boat on the ramp.

I have a ranger 461 vs from 1996 with a evinrude intruder 150. Its amazing. It immediately gets on plane. The hull shot is phenomenal. It runs 52 mph loaded down. The stability and ride is amazing. I have a buddy that has a 2020 z519 ranger that complains about the hull shot and stability. He previously owned a 96 Ranger 487vs and regrets selling and getting the newer ranger. Its mostly due to the outrageous price of the newer boat and pretty much the same problems you had. If i pay 70000 plus for a new ranger I shouldnt worry about hull shot and stability. The bass boat market is insane now with the cost. I love my 461 vs. I fish great lakes in that boat and its amazing. I think the older rangers were the pinnacle of bass boats.

For the rod lockers add a dehumidifier pack. They work great

I have same boat . I’ve got a helix 15 on the dash . Helix 10 and garmin 102sv on top of it . I run 2 ionic 50 ah on the trolling motor and a impulse lithium parallel with a 31 interstate agm . I use less then 10 percent of battery all day long .

Should have brought a different boat..i have a 20 foot Pheniox and never have this problem...Ranger boats are not like they used to be back in the days

you can take your axle apart yes you can just your axle arms just mark each one with a mark before you just to get more hight
