For a child 10 years old who already wears glasses with cyl -3,50 and I found sph + 1,00 cycloplegic what do we do with the sphere? Do I have ro prescribe the hyperopia or leave it just with the cylinder ?His best corrected vision is with - 0,75 sph -3,50cyl !!😮😮😮
@@e.p.3569 which drop was used to dilate? I would suggest to prescribe +power also along with cylinder.
@@optometryreels I used cyclopendolate. I'm thinking to try +0,50 but what if he's not happy with that since he compensates much without dilation? The father says that he wears only cylinder since 3 years old...

Oh 1 more qns, how do I know which meridian is a cylinder or a sphere?
You don’t have to know. Just neutralize a meridian with sphere first and remaining with cylinder
