BoB is just masterpiece and all time series

Before Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg retire, they need to make one more miniseries for the Navy in WWII and the sage will be complete and immortal.

WWII was such a unique event in human history. I am so thankful to not have to experience something like that and even more thankful for the brave men who did so I wouldn't have to. That being said, man it would be so interesting to walk through the camps and battles as a silent observer. To look past its mythos so to speak. I think these shows are the closest we will get to that.

As a series Band of Brothers is the best IMO and for an intro song the Pacific wins. Still undecided about Masters of the Air, while there are some good storylines it did tend to jump about a lot similar to the Pacific. Band of Brothers very much stuck to the storyline of one group of soldiers and the campaigns they took part in. If someone got injured or similar you didn't have to follow their story, they would be reintroduced later when they rejoined the division. Huge respect to all of the lads who fought in this conflict, I can't imagine going through that type of trauma mentally and physically, and we are indebted to them for the life that many of us now have.

I keep coming back to these three. Best intros hands down, but The Pacific intro always gets me more emotional than the others, like the others evokes honor and pride but Pacific gives me hurt, even when the title of the song is "Honor"

I like them all and every intro gives me goosebumps. So i wont choose a favorite. They are all heroes to me!

The Band of Brothers theme will always put a tear in my eye. Such a beautiful song.

The Pacific intro is a work of art, SO good! Band of Brothers is epic too with just small peaks of pivotal sequences from the show, Masters of the Air on the other hand, looks like what you get when you request a WWII intro from ChatGPT plus its full of spoilers and crappy overdone CGI.

Hanks and Spielberg should make a Series about the Battle of the Philippines... Battle and Fall of Bataan and Corregidor and the infamous Death March... I believe the theme on this will be the Greatest of them All...

All 3 series should be required viewing for all high school students

By and far, the Pacific Theater of war was the hardest to win in. All food and ammunition and fresh water had to be shipped in. no roads or houses to quarter in, jungle, insects, extreme heat, no hospitals, plenty of disease. And fighting a tenacious enemy who believed suicide on the battlefield brought great honor to country, family, and Emperor.

My late Father fought in the Pacific in World War II. Few people can comprehend the intensity of the fighting in these battles. I believe it is important for the youth of today to see these motion pictures. They need to understand the cost of freedom. These brave men were indeed part of the Greatest Generation! May they Rest in Peace! 🇺🇸

Every high schooler should be made to watch this series. They should know how these men and thousands of others across Europe and the Pacific fought to ensure that tyranny wouldn't encompass the world under a corrupted symbol of peace. The Buddhist symbol used on female Buddha statues was flipped and twisted to be used by the Nazis for their flags.

They are excellent series, but in my opinion the best introduction is The Pacific. Excellent !!!!!

The last generation of great men....pissed on again today....those young men died for everything the USA is not anymore ...against tyranny, Bigotry and hatred to everything different , Thank God we Europeans take care of them for their own country for sure does not!
