This is beautiful!
What is the name of the floor barrier called
What is the product you are using? Need name of company please.
@@kathyschoenthaler6448 what product are you looking for? I have the contact paper linked in the description box.
I love this, I just have one question, since it’s paper, how do you clean the floors? Since I would assume you can’t mop
@@yessica14tellez what do you mean since it’s paper there’s no paper do you mean the barrier method that I use is paper? The tiles are vinyl. And the board is like an MDF that you don’t want to get soaking wet underneath. I use a swiffer or spot clean it or when I’m mopping. I just make sure it’s not dripping wet when I’m cleaning it. It’s a damp mop. Since there’s no gaps between each tile water, doesn’t really get to the bottom of it so far it’s been 5-6 months since I’ve had it installed and I haven’t had any issues. I just use either a damp mop spot clean if I spill some thing or a swiffer to lightly clean off things.
Gorgeous❤ where is the cabinet trim from, what size?
@@missjazabella hello it’s from Home Depot and I put the link in the description. They sell it by the foot so depends on how many feet you need. The link I believe is for CA not US but if you type the same name and copy and paste it into the US site you’ll find it there. They have it primed and unprimed.
Your bathroom is looking very high end, the towel bar needs to be. higher the towels can hang better, great job .🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@barbaradavis9136 thank you I appreciate it. And regarding the towel bar unfortunately, since I’m renting, that is a fixture that I cannot change. It’s bolted in the wall and there would be a massive hole and that’s something my landlord won’t permit me to change.
sounds good ❤️❤️❤️
Wow, this is a great makeover!!!
Miss. beautiful! You did your thang! The kitchen is as gorgeous as you are.
If I was the landlord I wouldn't have an issue either. You did a great job 👍🏾😉💗
Amazing! You're so talented my love!!
So beautiful
It’s stunning!!!
Great job
Great job
Great job
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Great job
Girl you make this look easy but its not jajajajaj what a great job...
Haha thank you. It just takes patience and practice.
This was a gorgeous transformation and I love the way you made it all cohesive. I’m not always into contact paper but you made it look damn good. For the coffee jars, I don’t know ones with good seal wood lids, but daiso has some with good sealing mirror/chrome style lids that look like they’d match the metal details on your tall cabinet pulls.
Thank you for the tip on the lids! I’m always looking for more options to make my kitchen look even better!
that wall paper is so beautiful my goodnesss
Beautiful 🤩
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it ☺️
looks amazing ,well done :D
Thank you! 😊
Clickbait pictures
@@karenlightford what are you talking about? No, it’s not. That is my bathroom in both photos. Did you watch the video or are you just bored and commenting? I’m confused.
WOW you did that !!!!
Absolutely Beautiful job💕👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Aww thank you ☺️ I'm so glad you like it!
The kitchen is beautiful. You did an amazing job. Did you cut and put together your trim pieces yourself? If so, I would love a tutorial video. Again amazing job!
Thank you! Yes, I did. I have a video coming out for how I cut the trim for my living room, but I do have a similar video up already on my channel.
❤😮BEAUTIFUL ❤
Did you paint the contact papered cabinets?
Yes, I did. That’s why I put the contact paper down to protect the cabinets from paint.
Looks great 🎉😊
It is BEAUTIFUL! 🌷 Thank you for sharing. 😊
Too plain it has no color
@@YolandaPeat then you can paint yours with color. I’m showing tips and tricks. You don’t have to do the exact same thing that I do I think the molding and how tall I made the cabinets and the floors that I’m putting in afterwards make it pop. Everyone’s home is their own personal choice and design.
Wow❤
You got skillz and I'm thankful for vids like these ❤had to sub
What it that paper you putting down before you the tile down and where can I buy it at thank you
Hello, I put a link in the description under barrier. I linked the US and Canada.
❤❤❤Beautiful 😊😊😊
Aww thank you! 😊
That was a lot of work. It looks lovely.
It definitely was but I am so happy with the results 😊
You did a phenomenal job on that kitchen! It really came out beautifully! I love the backsplash idea and I just might do that in my own kitchen. Well done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I am so happy you like it! The backsplash is so easy to install and so much cheaper than real tile.
It came out great now you got me wanting to change my flooring what is the name of both colors on the box 🤦🏽🤣🤣
So, your back splash looks like it's lifting on the wall. How is that holding up? Where do you get the peel and stick for the counters?
I noticed that too, behind the stove....maybe the heat causes that?
Do you have to worry about moisture getting under the vinyl?
No, you do not. I’ve done this in my actual bathroom in my old apartment where there was no exhaust fan or anything and the shower would get super steamy and it’s been fine for four years as long as you caulk it so no moisture gets in the bottom you should be fine.
Your kitchen is beautiful ❤️ Great job!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you! I’m happy you like it 😊
😍 absolutely amazing and beautiful. By any chance can you share a list of the items you used especially for the floors ?
Very beautiful definitely inspired me.
I am so glad you enjoyed it!
I agree less talk more diy
Nice!!!
I’m absolutely impressed with your work!!!! I’m learning a ton from you!! Thank You!❤
Thank you so much, I appreciate that!
Great job!
What is the name of the wallpaper you use
Nice job!!
What an amazing job!! I’m soooo impressed this is such a patient labor of love and success❤ WELL DONE I’m new to your channel Btw 🎉
Hello welcome 🤗 I am so glad you enjoyed it! 😊
I'm really intrigued if those doing this work in rentals 1) asked their landlord permission first and 2) how was the removal process, was there 'glue residue'? I'm not sure if this person is a renter or home owner but YT keeps showing me these videos.
@@fiestygemini2379 hello well you could just ask me. I am a renter. My landlord does know what I’m doing. They’ve seen it and they love it actually and many of my videos I have said speak to your landlord for anything that would be more permanent like painting. if you watch the video, you would specifically see me put paper underneath my peel and stick to reduce any residue on products that I’m unfamiliar with, when there’s products I know and have used before I can rely on them. I don’t have to worry about that, but I specifically took measures in order to reduce any chance of residue from the adhesive being left glue residue can be removed. Just use goo gon or a blow dryer if you ever have an issue with that. And the only time you don’t have to ask their landlord is if you’re using things that are removable and are renter friendly, that do not cause damage or harm to the property. It’s like putting in a sofa, carpet or curtains. It can be gone when you leave if you do anything that would cause holes or permanent change you need to speak with your landlord. You do not need to speak with the landlord for instance, to put up a full upper shelf that is not attached to the the kitchen cabinets at all it just sits there like a decorative piece of art on top. And every country, state, province, etc., has their own rules of what a renter can and cannot do when I move to a place I speak with my landlord ahead of time because I know I’m gonna do makeovers because that’s some thing that I love to do and I look for houses that I can change my landlords have actually even given me permission to rip up the carpet and put new floors down I think it’s great to have transparency with your landlord. If you plan on doing any changes to the space but the reason I do these videos and tell people what I specifically am doing and why is so they can also make their own decisions as to if this would work for their space. In my previous apartment, my landlord let me do whatever I want. It was a much older building. There were no rules or regulations. They didn’t really care. They thought everything I did was an upgrade anyways, so everyone has to do their own due diligence. Sometimes people fast-forward my videos or say I’m talking too much. They don’t necessarily listen to what I say, but I do give disclaimers and all my of my videos as to what and why I’m doing it and what I think would work for them I try to help people and push them in the right direction of what is rent friendly what is not And the potential cautions they should be taking I have seen many people do things that are not renter friendly in their spaces but everything I do I try to make sure it is safe for a rental and if it’s not, I make sure to tell people in the video that I had permission ahead of time to do whatever it is that I did.
I’ve watched a lot of “renter friendly” videos but not all DiYs are easy to remove. One of the best I’ve seen though is when people put a shower liner on their existing flooring and then go over with whatever tile or laminate they want! The wall paper I keep seeing is hit or miss unless you know for sure the walls have been primed and painted and the residue issues with peel and stick counter depend on the brand
