I have been playing with multiple GenAI apps to create summary notes and FAQs for an exam which is extremely technical and advanced in risk and ai. And here are my reviews - Perplexity - okay and verbose, not that impressive Claude AI - didn't use NotebookLM - pretty impressive but as complexity increases, its gives up. I would say its best after ChatGPT. ChatGPT 4o - extremely good, the quality of output is impeccable. Its definitely better than NotebookLM Quizlet Studyguide - Its not a raw GenAI app, probably running a fine-tuned LLM but it was pretty good, close to the GPT 4o. But it was more in bullet points i.e. could not compare & contrast MetaAI - horrible, hallucinations expert. Gemini AI (free) - just average. a bit pain to use. I personally found it to be a less easy than ChatGPT. If you are student or looking for academic usage, I recommend ChatGPT's $20 premium. Its suffice and value for money. Quizlet has new feature which generates MCQs for uploaded files and can generate max 200. This is also very good feature and is for premium subscribers. I got $25 for 1 yr subscription and I would not renew.

I just woke up from a jet lagged slumber to this gold. I hope it does play out like this. As a brand, marketing and web designer this is music to my ears. I hate the volume play when it comes to seo. It feels rash and adding to the piles of useless trash already on the internet. This feels like a focus on quality storytelling whether that be about brand, product, customer, or support stories

Google needs to stay relevant. I know so many people that do all their searches right in chatgpt and other AI engines. Gotta say that the google search results are so terrible now.

Wow...I have a Co Pilot license Enterprise what a mess. I up loaded 2 page word doc to Sharepoint (as that is the only place it will look) and asked Co pilot to prepare a draft short ppt. It created 10 pages and created content from god knows where and then tells me, it can’t remove it. It re ordered bullet points, then tells me it can't change the order. I went into the prompt library, used its proposed prompts, but no change. All I want it to do is use the content in the doc I provided, but it insists on creating and adding more.…and re orders the actual content Bloody awful

I’ve been using the free version of Chatgbt for a couple of months to help with marketing, emails, and RUclips title and thumbnail ideas. I need to try Claude Pro (I’m still new to all of this). I do want to upgrade to the paid version of one as I find myself using this more often now. It’s been extremely helpful.

Just a heads up for Google AI its use is limited in Gemini but you can remove these in Gemini AI studio where you can remove the civic engagement and remove those filters. just a heads up the gemini AI studio is a much different experience

This is a fantastic comparison! I agree with a lot of what you say, particularly about just subscribing on a monthly basis because of how fast these tools are changing. I have mostly been playing with Perplexity and ChatGPT over the last year or so and I seem to always gravitate to Perplexity. It does the best at returning accurate information when I compare it to ChatGPT (putting the same prompt into both of them), and is more geared to what I do for a living (research). I've also found it better at generating Python code. Overall, Perplexity is a strong win for me. Whenever I compare it to ChatGPT, Perplexity always comes out on top.
