GANESHA Review? Real Ultralight Titanium Folding Hiking Wood Stove.
This was the worst to figure out! When I finally found the correct battery placement, which is almost too small to read, then after figuring out before giving up, I realized the button to engage is slide, not press like my previous one. It's really ridiculous without decent instructions. Finally, the damn thing works, but I wouldn't recommend it, hell no.
How many letters an numbers are on the blade, serial no
Hah. The cheap amazon dispenser is no longer available. Only one choice now!
Has anyone used it in seawater? I've learned that using a RO filter is the only way to screen out the salt, most of those systems are large and costly so this filter has caught my eye. Would make hanging at a beach for a week or two more possible if you are in a remote area.
Not designed for Salt Water. Salt is very corrosive.
@ thank you. Shortly after posting that I saw on their website that they clearly state it’s not for salt water. I’ve read that the only filter that filters sea water are RO filters. And those type of systems are large and have huge energy requirements. Pity this filter system can’t do that.
Yeah but the Coleman is just cooler! I love mine
I can't argue that 😊👍
Knives are made for cutting and food prep. Get an axe or hatchet for wood and shelter. Anyone batoning with a knife is a poser....
Looks like a great camp ⛺️👍🏼
Best views😊
Butane is worthless in colder months. Even in the south. I'll never get rid of my coleman.
The Ali can had a lot of flame coming up the side of your pot which is wasted heat. If it had been closer to the pot it might have been more efficient.
My dad just gave me this knife today. Bloody love it.
That's great to hear. It's a great present.😊
Perhaps a long handle spoon to bend those sides inside instead fingers to push into those base slots?
Looks awesome! Where exactly did you film this?
@@bushgearreview niiice! i was asking because, i was wondering what the rules are about using this firebox in QLD. From what I've researched, the rules seem to be really hard to pin down! Some rules only apply in national parks and state forests, some rules only apply during fire bans. I would love to use it on some rocks by a creek or river, like you do in the video!!! Are you familiar with the rules about using these kinds of stoves in QLD?
@oneeshie, like you say, the rules are very hard to interpret, but I always bring my own wood. I do use the trangia or goshawk alcohol burners a lot inside the firebox or ganesha stove.
The firebox is very efficient and safer as far as bushfire potential.
@@bushgearreview so you think if i brought the firebox out to a campsite, or a creek, i wouldn't run into any trouble? i'd love to use it outdoors more often, but ive been trying to figure out the rules haha 🤔
I wouldn't want to say either way. It's a matter of case by case, and use your gut feeling.
Table is too low.
I got one of these recently & am happy with it. I put boiling water in it & it makes a quick shot with crème.
So sad, for an expensive tarp and it didn’t come with poles.
You could try a Drifta alternative less $$$.
Yep bulletproof
Very nice review. It was very clever of you to use paint scrappers as spatulas to turn your eggs. I must use that idea. Thanks.
Thankyou.😊 Also, paint scrapers are great for flipping smashburgers on flat grill BBQs..
Thank you, ngl I had no clue on how to use the can opener
No problems 😊
I met the black that owns it general nice guy not for money and great quality
That's great to hear👍. Agreed, nice bloke. I love my Stov😊
This is a good demonstration because it shows the Itehil unit will not allow any chemicals to pass into the drinking water. Bravo!
Thankyou.😊
It would be great in a chaffing dish if you could guarantee it would not be knocked over and spill flames everywere.
I recently purchased the dometic lantern for 45 (normally 99 usd). There aren't very many user reviews out there for it. Any experience with it?
Is that the "Dometic Go Area camp light"?
Sure is. So far, seems solid and tons of features. Just no real reviews as of yet. I haven't had the chance to make use of it while camping. Maybe I'll update after my next trip😂. Thanks,
It would be great to hear about your experience after a camp.😊
Just an update. Dometic area light was amazing. Run time was impressive as well as adjustability. Having the app to control on the fly was nice as well. Being able to power off and conserve while outside cooking and turn back on before stumbling in a dark tent was nice. Several light options and colors. Might want to take a look. Good bang for your buck in my opinion .. but what do I know 😅
@michaelsoto3245 That's great to hear. Thanks for your take on the light. It's definitely on my radar, and I will keep an eye out for some good deals on it in the near future.
Pretty cool and not bad for the price. I know this next question depends on flame size, but what is run time typically on a full canister?
I think from memory around 6-10 gm an hour. Standard 230gm canister should last 24-36 hours.
Great review. I purchased it recently. I can't tell you how many uses i have for this thing. Im new to camping, and most of my purchases revolve around one product having multiple uses. This setup is amazing in that sense. When outside working around my home, grilling, or anything else that could require me to wash my hands or having acess to clean water.. super useful.
Thankyou😊 You don't realise how handy it is until you just need some water to wash hands or quickly wash something off.
Terrific to see people still using these stoves. Use same model 414 myself.
I'm keeping mine for a base camp in a shack one day.😊
Very nice guide ropes 👍🏼
Something fun to try out😊👍
Love this! And that song 🤌🏽
Trangia is the best
Tried and tested😊
Looks like a great option for camping instead of instant.
Just even for the smell of fresh coffee😊
Thanks buddy! Got it open 😅
@@Plutoismine_13 No problems 😊
Thank you so much for your review. I just ordered stov and windshield, just going to buy those gas canisters you and your mate recommended. Have a great week and xmas
The windshield helps a lot. My mate swears by the adapter so he can run the Coleman bottles as well. Merry Christmas 😊
Just ordered mine today and super psyched to use it on Xmas
I hope you have fun playing. 😊
First time for me to use these!!!
Do you know if the JL one also has the different mounting height options?
Yes, it looks exactly the same principle as the JK
@bushgearreview thanks mate.
Thanks for the comparison, overall I like the trangia.❤
What a good coffee it makes too!
He'll Yeah😊
Fantastic overview of the capabilities of this mighty little stove! Great looking footage and editing. Even the B roll footage with the white background. Very, very, well done! I'm a new subscriber. Been looking at one of these for a little while and this is my favorite video I've found so far.
Thankyou😊 It is a great quality product. One day, I will get the titanium version.
basically an electic Nanopresso.
Yes, Self heating Nanopresso
After seeing this in action and tasting the result bean brand dependant of course, I'm very likely to invest in one! Thanks Matt 👍 great review
Thanks, Jeremy.😊👍
I've made one from a Tactix 2 drawer storage container.
I am a big fan of Tactix products for the $$.😊
just bought one. great video. thanks
Have fun & enjoy 😊
This would be almost perfect of what I could have used but sadly it doesn't go any higher in weight capacity. I prefer to get something that will hold more as a precaution. But what do you expect from something that is manufactured by a third party. I like the fact that it's so portable.
I am not sure if you have checked my other video on the Goshawk Stools? They make one that is similar weight but bigger and taller.
@@bushgearreview I'll check it out. Thanks!😀
I’m just going to see if this expanding bag is gas or steam. I’ll just smell…actually, I’ll try igniting it 🤓
This item is retarded and dosent work
Drop some salt that is the easiest way to remove Leaches.
I had my Colman stove for at least 30 yrs. After watching the video I got it out and it worked like it was new. And I have the butane stoves as well. Bring it on 😊
Good test! I wonder how the trangia with the simmer ring would do.
Check my other video out with Tangia simmer ring
The "run out time" is important because it tells you overall fuel efficiency. IE: How much fuel is left over after boiling the water?
😮😮😮❤
I needed help, thank you lol
