I think Zack is going to help fix Clouds mind. Tifa may be there too, but definitely Zack. Marlene asks him to make Cloud better so he can save Aerith. And Sephiroth tells Tifa that she can't reach him now. I don't think Tifa will be in the lifestream again, because she's already been in it once. She will probably have a different moment with him. Or it will be Zack and Tifa, and maybe even Aerith too.

It is apsolutely possible. At the very least one of the many versions of Sephiroth throughout the different timelines has "a greater good" in mind and as his motive. Sephiroth has, throughout the compilation of FF7, become a deep character that isn't just strictly evil for the sake of being evil. Some versions of sephiroth are used by jenova, some use jenova themselves and maybe there is also one version, that is aware that he has been manipulated and seeks to do his own kind of "right thing". Ever Crisis brought more to the table than we initially thought. for example sephiroth having a picture of his actual mother (lucretia) and asking around if anyone knows her, but hojo lying to him that this is a woman named jenova, only to implant the thought of "jenova is my mother" to him. Which, if you think about it, didn't happen for any other reason but to mess with him mentally. Because if hojo wouldn't have done this, the name Jenova would have meant nothing to sephiroth and sephiroths downfall would not have occured at all. He wouldn't even have known who or what jenova even is, let alone that he is linked to it. he would have known that his mother was a actual human woman who was called Lucretia and he would have never questioned if he is even human or not if not for the single fact that hojo did this one tiny twist on the truth. Sephiroth would have ended the nibelheim mission as planed and nothing would have happened. He wouldn't have thought he is a cetra, he wouldn't have come into contact with jenova, wouldn't have killed anyone etc. None of the events that make the story would have happened if not for Hojo giving him a picture of his actual Mother and lying to him that this is a woman named Jenova. Which clearifies (at least to me) that the one TRUE bad in the story is not this all powerfull super soldier (sephiroth) or this dangerous alien lifeform (jenova) but a single, very evil and sick man who is nothing but a human who wants to see the world burn just to see how it goes and because terror just intrigues him (hojo)

It's possibile.....he has the tools and the motivations to do It,if he gets the support he needs.....he knows he cannot do It alone,That's why he's " training" Cloud

Square needs to stop messin around & do another CG movie based on the origins of FF7 covering the landing of Jenova, the extinction of the ancients, jump ahead to Dr. Ghast's discovery of Jenova's remains & the Jenova project, give us some over the top action scenes from young Sephiroth & explain why Shinra are still using G-cells in the production of SOLDIER operatives when its been proven that G-cells cause cellular degradation. Also explain how Reno & Rude are some how as strong & fast as SOLDIER ops despite having no physical enhancements.

Awesome video. But one thing, Edge of Creation is not missing in Rebirth. Zack and & fight Sephiroth there and then Cloud fights him alone right after, and at the end, Aerith and Cloud fight him there, after Aerith changes the atmosphere to the white lifestream water. And the final boss Sephirtoh in general is the Edge of Creation Sephiroth. It's even confirmed in Ultimania Rebirth. But I 100% agree this should've been in part 2, and I at least hope we get it in part 3. And that's coming from me, who follows and plays Ever Crisis.

The best of all this (and sadly not many ppl understand it) is that this is just the natural and intuitive development of elements already all present or vaguely present in Sephiroth's story since the OG...Somebody is complaining that they are changing the character of Sephiroth,but that's absolutely not true...he's been never written as a villain,but as a fallen hero,and the devs already gave us all the elements to understsnd it snd understand why since the OG....In the third part we'll see where all this is leading us,and the devs will give us some pleasant surprises about Sephiroth

Great analysis - helpful background into ever crisis so thanks! Hoping part 3 can show Sephiroth's true mother Lucrecia and same, would love to see Hojo have a slow, painful death. He is one sick villain. I reckon that would be the best way to wrap up FF7!

I'm sure everyone was excited for this. As far as the last trilogy goes, I like Rise and War and love Dawn but I find the entire franchise as a whole to be super interesting. To put it simply: this is a good continuation. Well directed, looks great, pays tribute to Caesar in a nice way while also introducing some solid new characters. Raka was my favourite. I thought it could've been a little better on a story level. It also lacked the same emotional punch of the previous trilogy. I don't want another remake/retelling of the 1968 original but I do at least like that in the timeline it seems like we are slowly getting closer to that movie.

I actually really want to see this movie, it looks really good and i love ryan gosling so i am quite excited to see this. awesome review as always

I get where you come from with the why didn't they just shoot sephiroth. Well, what does Shinra do to Corel? Junon? Wutai? I just think Shinra is such a power in that world no one dare oppose them. That or the possibility of resolving this problem in a manner that somewhat resembles extortion

Great review. I agree that there were way too many characters in this one. I mentioned that on my channel too. Also, good observation that most of the ghostbusting in this movie took place in the daytime. I didn't even notice that.
