@true brodown - Recommendations: - if you havent checked him out, check out Gabriel Iglesias.. hes a mexican comedian and hes hysterical. His two best shows are "Fluiffy Goes to India" (Fluffy is Gabriel's nickname), and "The Gift Basket" - Brad WIlliams. Hes a dwarf comedian. Also hysterical, and insightful lol.. hes got 2 shows on youtube.. one is called "Fun Size" and the other is "Daddy Issues".. Recommend watching Fun Size First. Trust me, you wont go wrong with either of them.

I could see it on his face before he said it: "This is not what I expected." Biff Clyro started out closer to a post-alt metal/punk 20 years ago. But now it's a lot of tempo change arena rock. They're from Scotland and play the big European festivals like Download, which is probably how Lombardo was familiar with the band. I live in Nebraska, and Biffy Clyro has been my favorite band since I was introduced to them in 2010.

I've loved the instrumentals on this song since the first time I heard it. On the other hand, I found the vocal melodies too meandering at first. However, it has grown on me with repeated listening. I know better than to judge a Jinjer song hastily.

I loved the band up to the Micro EP, then I cant stand them. The same chaotic noice over and over again. The first two albums and the EP had plenty of nice melodies, but since then whatever I hear, is the same...

I thought the same thing after my first listen. Her voice sounded disjointed and out of place, but one thing I've learned about Jinjer is NEVER judge a song based upon the first listen. You have to put in work with multiple listens before the song structure and concept sticks in your brain. When Macro came out, I listened to it and was not impressed. When Wallflowers came out, I listen to it and was not impressed. After many listening sessions I began to see the genius in what I was hearing. I felt the same way about Meshuggah forever. I just could not understand what people liked about them. Once my brain figured out the rhythms and dissonant melodies, I literally cannot get enough. I listen to Catch 33 a few times a week now. Jinjer is like that for me. Give it a few more listens. You will see just how good it is. Her vocal melodies start to make more sense.

i kinda felt the same way when i first heard it but I think these odd placed embellishments and melodies are one of the ingredients that's makes them stand out from all other bands. Art is subjectional, personally i love it.
