I love your snail shadow on the wall, Edmund. Thank you for a lovely tour of Hampstead. I just moved to London, and your video gave me good ideas of new places to visit. Also, it's so lonely living here on my own. It's nice to have someone to explore virtually with.
As a baby/young child I lived in Mill Hill...wish I could go back, especially seeing this...cheers.
Hello, Karen? O-ho Mill Hill..! What a beautiful place:) I am happy to hear my vlog gave you reminiscence🙈
Wondered video … the more you reveal about yourself the more I relate. As I’ve written before, I, too, have lived in London. I have also lived in Rome, Italy and Stockholm, Sweden. (And, San Francisco in U.S.) Each of these cosmopolitan cities influenced me in forming my life, in learning to create what I want to be around me and what I want to be around. You sound as though you’ve come far in understanding that you make choices and choosing your reactions to events is fundamental importance. Creating your life is, to a certain extent, at least, possible. I wish you much happiness, a life filled with small beauties and riches of learning and understanding.
Hello again, Mary Jane! Yes I recall you used to live in Kensington and Chelsea for your studies and work🤗 but living in Rome and Stockholm in addition to San Francisco is nothing short of spectacular given that how much one can learn about oneself as you rightly mentioned:) I have not yet reached as far-resonating experience as you did, but definitely yours give me further inspiration to explore my preferences and to endeavour more to know me. And I totally agree about creating our life😉 I am delighted to know your comment is also part of “creating my life” as I read all comments with great interests and try to learn from them🥰 Thanks for empowering me to do one-step forward🥹
Eddie, THINK about losing that plastic cutting board! Buy a wooden one for crying out loud!
Hello, Diane? Thank you so much for your advice! Another comments from Margie and others say the same thing and I totally agree with you❣️ I have been looking for a proper wooden one and you will see my new cutting board in my next vlogs (I will also upload it in my Instagram soon!🥰) please stay tuned and thanks for being very considerate🙈
wow...loved it..💚💚
Thank you Claudia😉🫣
Nice one Edmund. You're a real flaneur now. Never stop exploring and discovering. As Charles Dickens said 'you only really know a city if you walk it'
Thanks, Anglian Flaneur:) so much well said! Ditto!
Hi, new subscriber here. Now watching your videos, starting from the oldest. It would be nice if we can see your face in the video.
Hi Tan?:) Thanks a lot for your visit and kind words🥹
London is a great city, but its very, very expensive to live in Hampstead. Precisely because its such a safe looking, pretty, chocolate box village. To buy a house or flat your talking millions. This also doesnt show the homeless, the street crime, the prostitution & the crack dealers etc. If your thinking of moving to London, dont be too shocked its not going to be like this. !
Hello:) thanks for sharing your view and experience very frankly - I broadly agree with you. Hampstead and is surrounding neighbourhoods are safe and yes, just like a tiny adorable bubbly chocolate box village😉❣️ However, London is yet a diverse city not just limited to postcard-like North West London🥹 It is really beautiful place and for me a very special place…🙈
You do exercises to stay in shape? Too much nice food has it's consequences... hahahaha. The stuff in the UK is unbelievably expensive. My last visit was almost 8 years ago.
Hello?:) I do exercise because it makes me feel good and refreshed🤗 oh yes..prices here in London are sometimes insane…:( Hope that my vlogs can take you back to London🥰
@Edmund30s it certainly does. Thank you!
Im so glad you visited Venice , i live near it , and im italian:).. seems you love lot of italian things:).so sad for your assault :(....venice is strange city but all my family love it a lot ,and i lived there one year many years ago. Was so magical. Lot of memories...i was 20s...see you in next one!😊💙
Hello, Claudia! Yes I have loved many of Italian things and I love its cuisine as well as cultural heritage:) Bad thing happened in Venice but it doesn’t change I enjoyed Venice and 🇮🇹 Hope to come back soon🥰
@Edmund30s perfect!:)
Edmund, in one of your recent vlogs, I noticed your cutting board--I hope it is not one of those where, during use, teensy particles of plastic gradually wear away from the knife action and end up in your food--you eat so well and take such good care of yourself, that I would not want you to do anything inadvertent that would not be good for you . . . and thank you for such great, inspirational content!
Hello, Margie! Actually…I have been looking for wooden cutting board on the basis of recent comments including yours❣️ I really feel loved and appreciated by your comment and affection🙈 Please be aware that I genuinely read your comments fully with open mindedness! And yes I fully agree with you😉 I will soon post a new cutting board and also upload it in my Instagram story to show it to you and other viewers who recommended this same advice 🫶🏻 Please come more often and leave your advice and NEVER think you are meddling with🥹
Beautiful cinematography!
Hello, Grace?:) Welcome to my vlogs😉❣️
👍👍💛💛
Thanks Claudia:) It is lovely to see your comment throughout my vlogs😉🤗🫣
One of your videos appeared on my youtube list after I had watched a video from a favourite vlogger in Seoul. I watched your video and thought it was so interesting and so went back to when you started and have now watched them all! Your love of books, art, food and London is so good to see. I particularly liked seeing your brother visiting and you spending time together and just recently, your mom. Also, your travel for business trips. I hope you continue to reach your goals. You work very hard and deserve success. 😊
Awwww Denise! Please be fully aware that your comment has entirely mesmerised me and made my day! Unforgettable words to me… I have never imagined to hear this compliment🥹 Fantastically touching, humbling to me🥰 I am chuffed that you had found out my vlogs, which I appreciate wholeheartedly ❣️
I'm a 67 year old woman. Up until I was 18, I was very shy. Then, on a school trip to Europe, a girl from my group yelled at me for "tagging along with the (school) group". This pissed me off and I made more friends from other states. She, however, stuck in her little clique from our school. After I returned home, I was a changed person. Still shy but now I vowed not to be bullied. Still an introvert but I LOVED being alone. All of my favorite jobs were solitary ones. I have always loved reading, crafting, crossstitch, anything solitary. When I lived in Dallas, all of my friends loved clubbing and dancing. When we went out, I would wait in a quiet bar until my friends were ready to go home. Now that I am disabled, my time alone has increased but it calms me and doesn't dismay me. Enjoy being an introvert. I think we are much happier than extroverts, especially in our current times.
Hello, Cynthia? Your comment is truly empowering and inspirational❣️ I love your strong faith and belief on yourself which strongly resonates with my experience. In particular, waiting for pals at a quiet bar whilst others are spending time inside a loquacious club, is also totally mine. I used to feel frustrated seeing myself not being able to mingle with others….a lack of courage to speak and approach others and just simply say “hello?” It was rivetingly difficult experience to me when I was in my 20s. However, as you had rightly said, it no longer has impact on me. My happiness is now completed entirely by me🥰 Your comment had me sit down at a cafe stool quite for a while and sob inside my heart as you reversed my time back to those days in 20s - painful not appreciating myself and always putting myself below others, criticising myself “why am I not same with those?” Thanks again, Cynthia💝 You said you are disabled, but your soul and mind should be one of the most capable❣️ Please be firm and remain just as you have been so that your next generation including me can learn from you and leap forward. I won’t forget your experience😉
💚💚
Your videos are very unique. As an introvert myself i love them a lot 👍
Hello, Ajay? Thanks! I am happy to hear from you🤗
Lovely videos you post with serene music❤❤
Hello, Pallavi? Thanks!🥹
I loved this video. Thank you for sharing your seminar experience in Paris :) the food, the architecture, the streets, and the gardens look great. I have become a big fan of your videos because they have a tone of serenity and simplicity. Sending love from Sri Lanka
Hello, Dinish? I am so happy to have you as viewer of my vlogs🤗 Thanks for detailed comment, helpful for making my vlogs. Sending regards from London to 🇱🇰😉

@Edmund30s I like your blogs they help me think about things
Great video, very much enjoyed it!
Thank you again🤗😉
Great video! I used to live in London in my early 30s and I always enjoyed going to Hampstead on my days off. You took me back there, thanks 💫
Hello Sara? Delighted to hear my vlog took you back here🥹❣️ I am so happy for it🥰
Having coffee n snacks out is not gonna make you rich n retire in 40s or 50s. Better start having coffee at home! It adds up.
Hello Heute?:) hope I got your name correctly. I have just bought coffee beans for that purpose😉 Impeccable timing with your feedback
I like your videos but it gets a little tedious having to read everything you say.
Hello again, Anna?:) your feedback is well noted! I am figuring out on how to compose my script shorter and more concise, but yet delivering what I want to say🤗 Thanks for your feedback!
Please consider some friendly advice; however you feel about spending so much time alone might feel ok to you now, but you might feel very differently one day looking back. My regrets about spending my 20s socially isolated came all at once and despite finding a partner who I love it's been a daily mental health struggle ever since. Regret is arguably the most painful emotion of all and being alone is not a long term option if one wishes to have good mental health. Consider breaking the routine and putting yourself out there. There IS someone for everyone.
Blimey, I thought it was really Gary Oldman! Chill has just come down my spine, alas, came up again…🤣 I broadly agree with you and your saying “there is someone for everyone” has hit me very hard - wonderful advice and I don’t take you sharing your lessons for granted. I am sure wise words are always appreciated across culture and ages. Thanks again🫶🏻
13:14 Guest appearance by you. Nice video, holiday in the life. I miss London. I love the flemish art and was lucky enough to see the real works in Scotland. Thank you for sharing.
👋 Hello:) Does it mean you were captured in my vlog at 13:14?! I am happy you enjoyed my vlog (and even further happier as you also love Flemish art❣️. Peter Paul Rubens is my all time favourite!!)
Such a beautiful positive vlog ❤ Best wishes to you and may you continue to have such lovely peaceful moments with yourself . All the best for your future and career choices . We are an Indian family here , husband working in finance . If you ever need anything feel free to reach out . 👍🏼👍🏼✌🏻
🥰 awww hello Yogita? (hope I got your first name correctly🫣) it is so heartwarming comment and I love the air-in-the-love energy from your profile picture. Immensely adorable family🤭 hope your baby is well and I will have your name on my book in case I seek advice for finance❣️
@ Yes u got it absolutely correct 👍🏼 (name ) Thank you 😇 Baby is doing just fine . He is no longer baby any more 😄😄. Sorry about that pic, it’s a very old picture probably when I made my RUclips account . Baby has grown into a 14 year old big boy now ☺️☺️😇, and we also try to inculcate some good energy and saving habits in him just like you do 👌🏼, so that he doesn’t struggle as much as we did in our 20’s or 30’s . We spent our 30’s life in Hong Kong and it was the most wonderful time for us I would say spent there 👍🏼👍🏼 It has been a great learning experience for us too here in London, being miles away from home , but with dreams and aspirations in our eyes we have set foot & trying to pick up the pace here as well 😊✌🏻
@@DYOGITA a-ha now i see:) thanks, Yogita! Time flies! I am sure he will grow up jolly well with great lessons from his wonderful parents🥰 you and your family seem to have undergone various places thus far, which I always appreciate and admire because it is never easy to move and resettle miles away from home🥹 Hope to see your comment and lovely story again in my channel🫶🏻❣️
Africa is a continent with 54 countries. You seem to be reasonably educated so please do your research.
Hello, Julia?:) surely it is a big continent. I just mentioned Africa simply to depict conundrum of career decision broadly. It is a massive regional economy and I appreciate it consists of many “various” countries:)
You were raised well, which is a lot more that can be said of others. I think you should stop calling yourself ugly... you are a product of your parents' (and I am sure they are wonderful people) love and carry their hopes and dreams.
Hello, Moody?:) I totally agree with you and I no longer call myself ugly as I had grown up again meanwhile🫶🏻 I can feel more love of my parents and people around me. In particular, all viewers and comments left by them, including yours, carry more hopes and dreams to me. I genuinely love to read comments in my vlogs❣️ Thanks again, Moody🥹
I am from NYC, and I've been to London twice. The second time, I stayed for a month and divided my stay between Ladbroke Grove and Fitzrovia. How I wish I could afford to have another apartment there. There is a civility in London that is sorely lacking here.
Hello, Moody? You definitely stayed in a marvellous place in London! I have always been curious about NYC but your comment makes me scared but also mote intrigued to visit New York🥹🫶🏻
Why can't you drink coffee? Have you read "The Goldfinch"? I think you'd like it, and with the added fact that it is centered around a real painting.
Hello again, Moody?:) I am hyper sensitive to caffeine but lamentably I enjoy the taste of coffee and its scent. Hence I opt for decaffeinated ☕️ Oh the Goldfinch?! Didn’t know there is a novel of that name! Adorable piece by Fabritius❣️ Thanks for suggesting it! I have now another book to read along with other recommendation from different comment🥰 I love the chirping sound of goldfinch - it gives me sense of hustle but exuberance so it lights me up😉
"Dining out bill also includes cost of memories." Nice. Also, I love the Holly Bush.
Hello, Kevin! Thanks for agreeing with me and sharing love over the Holly Bush😉
Important thoughts and good editing, Edmund.
Thank you Kevin:)
I lived in the same area of London when I was about your age. You're doing it right. Good on you!
Ohh hello again, Kevin?:) thanks for watching my vlogs❣️ What a coincidence and thanks for reassuring me that I am doing right🙈😉
Your videos are very calming. As someone living in Oklahoma, I love seeing London!
Hello, Gage?:) delighted to see you again in my channel🤗 and thanks for lovely words to my vlog!
£23 for a fish supper and peas!!! I thought £14 was expensive here in the east Neuk of Fife.
🤣 Hope it goes down to £14 here as well🥲
Do so enjoy your content 😀 Always so enjoyable to watch
Hello Amanda? Thanks and happy to see you again😉
I remember going to England a lot with my parents from NYC. My father worked in IBM headquarters on Madison ave in the 80's. We used to attend the Henley Regatta...what a wonderful time wearing the boating blazers and straw hats....they had a self induced dress code the ladies were amazingly feminine. I belong to a Shooting club here in NY...we shoot high pheasants and do all the traditional british tweed and what not ( fortunately for the pheasants I am not the best of shots) I also have horses and unlike the poor british with the harassment by the scabs in foxhunting we aren't bothered by people. Though the farmers who let us ride on their property tell us just dont talk about it.....We dont even have foxes...In my years I have never seen one on a hunt...lol we drag the scent the morning of the event behind a quad for the dogs to chase its just a excuse for us to run madley through the countryside falling off our horses and laughing. we have a big black tie ball on the weekends in season..I find the places to dress up are getting fewer and fewer so I love it. I myself am all alone after a 17 yr marriage after 5 yrs of being cloistered in my own sorrow I have learned to break out by myself to enjoy the autumn yrs of my life....Wonderful videos keep up the great work...cheers!
👋 Mr. Social 🦋 Butterfly?:) I am delighted you landed on my channel again with another life story of yours🥹 Blimey.. Madison Avenue in Manhattan New York in the 1980s… I can only imagine how it was like 👍 Your story of shooting club, black tie dress code and being with family sounds very exotic and adds embroidery of further imagination to me😎 I am happy you can share your life stories here on my channel and hope other viewers can travel back in time with your comments⏳
I'm really enjoying your vlogs! They are wonderful to watch and really relaxing. I like to enjoy a calm life so this resonates with me so much 😊
Hello 👋 again, Steve?:) what a pleasure to see your comment again🥹🫶🏻 Your comments have been also resonating with me and please be aware they are motivating to me☺️
Hi Edmund! I loved your tour of Oxford-such a breathtakingly beautiful city; full of the culture and Romance of study, in its ivory towers! Your photography does it justice. Then the Holly Bush Pub in Hampstead-I also love these tucked away, little gems, in London; the atmosphere is so different to the hustle and bustle of the High street, just a few steps away! Your philosophical insights add another thoughtful dimension. I'm sure your mummy relishes the special time she has with you, how lovely to be able to enjoy all this together. Have you ever read a book called 'The Snow Goose', by Paul Gallico? I think you may enjoy it-but I won't give any 'spoiler alerts'...any good 2nd hand bookshop should have a copy-it may be out of print, now. Enjoy the rest of your week, and thanks for another lovely video! love sue xxx ⭐❤
Hello again, Sue!🤗 so keen was I to read your comment on my new vlog🫶🏻 as you share your contemplative musings about life and give me another peak into different dimensions of life☺️ It is extraordinary asset not only to me, but also to any readers of our dialogue here. I’m chuffed that you enjoyed my vlog! Oh and the Snow Goose 🪿❣️ I recall it was published in 1941..? With a wonderful background around the Essex marshes🥹 It was one of summer books in school! I only remember the cover of the book and haven’t read it…🙈 I will take a look at local bookshops. If unavailable, I have already found the book at Amazon and saved it in my basket😉🪿 I will read and quote from the book in my next vlogs🥰📖 (you may notice it😉) Thanks for sharing your beautiful insight and recommending books (as it is getting colder in London, I begin to go out even less, so I read more at home nowdays🤭)

Hello Bel?:) 👋
I absolutely love your channel! I'm curious, how do you feel when you put together content to upload? Do you see it in a new light once it's edited? How does the editing process change the experience for you? Since you’re not typically in the shot, I imagine it might be a different experience compared to other RUclipsrs who feature themselves in their videos. For me, I imagine not having to look at myself and dealing with all those inner thoughts would help me focus more on the scenery and the surroundings. The way you combine everything-especially the music-really brings the experience to life. Does editing enhance, change, or diminish your experience of the journey? Does it shift how you remember the trip, like the details of travel or even things like searching for a restroom? Also, how does your mother feel about being part of a RUclips project with you?
Hello, Sheila?:) thanks for your comment and questions, all of which I found lovely. Well, I always feel happy and rewarded when I release my vlog because it is the outcome of my musing about my life. It is entirely subjective view and a diary of my own life:) However, I feel my life also evolves along my vlogs supported by wonderful comments🥰 I genuinely appreciate all the comments here on my channel as it empowers me to look back on my thoughts and actions one way or another (including yours). Varying backgrounds spur diverse ideas and it is same with me. When I read comment such as “I was happy, it was calm video after my long days, etc”, I feel butterflies in my stomach simply because my vlogs made them happy🥹 I am no one but I could reach where I am standing now because of love and support of people around me. Personally, I feel responsible for returning it back to people around me, even better if they are my viewers and visitors to my channel❣️ Oh and regarding mummy, she feels happy to be featured in my vlog as we can seldom spend time together as I live abroad🥹
@Edmund30s I really enjoy your vlog because of the way you uniquely share your strength, hope, and life lessons. It’s both calming and precious to watch. The scenery is interesting, historical and cozy . I also love hearing your thoughts as you walk. Your channel brings me a sense of encouragement and peace. You’re making a real impact, and your intention is clearly reaching people both across the pond and beyond!
@ Your comment made my day after a long working day, Sheila! Please be aware that I also love to read your comments which reach me with lots of affection and heartfelt encouragement🥹🫶
