This is my favorite moment of DCI 2022 for numerous reasons: The source music (Anna Meredith's "Nautilus"), the unique arrangement, the unique body movement and much more. This is also my first time using the new MuseScore 4 sounds for brass, wow.... There are a couple issues with the playback I encountered but overall this is a major step in the right direction for free midi software. Do yours...

Fantastic job as always - The DCI transcription goat doing what he does best once again! Appreciate the effort you put into the little things like the slight change in rhythms between the trumpet runs in the agape segment. It really does make the transcription that much more faithful to the original performance. Although one thing I'm interested in is the "To Baritone Horn" at the beginning of the closer for the trombone part. Was this intentional or possibly an oversight?
@@toucap thanks! I put baritone horn because that is the sound I used for that trombone solo but I should’ve changed the text oh well.

I am transposing this into Garage Band and this is very useful, I have gotten through two parts as I write this, the Tuba and Baritone, it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to transpose which shows how complicated this show is and I love it.
Nice! How do you do trumpet bends. All of mine aren’t heard in playback and either only bend up or only bend down.
Are you using the bend tool? If so, you should be able to adjust the pitches with a chart. It’s been awhile but start with that.
@@dillonreese3955 I do use the bend tool but I can only use the bend tool on a note once and it’s not heard :(

This was an old version of musescore so the dynamics were very weird when it was played back. Now it isn’t that way
