90년대 중반 취미로 애니메이션 제작에 관심있엇던 시기 에반게리온을 봤던 그 문화적 충격을 아직도 잊을수가 없다. 전자기계 전공자, 프로그래머였던 내가 봤을때도 과학적으로도 전혀 흠잡을데 없는 그 정교함, 치밀함. 그걸 애니로 구현해 내는 능력.. 경이롭기 까지 했다. 하지만 지금의 일본애니는.. 에효... 연얘한번 못해본 남자들만 있는건지 변태처럼 여자 가슴,엉덩이 노출이 많은건지 이해가 안된다.. 그 많던 거장들은 다 어디로 갔단 말인가.

studio ghiblis founder was the last who painted everything on paper, all animes after him were made on computers, and u notice the loose of details, and somethies even by the look of the physiks who went wrong.... i love those old style animes, but they are all gone, time passed, nobody sells it today because making them on compuers with ai KI and tools is so much cheaper, plus u allways can edit them in another way...

Those old animes has UNIQUE VIBE....

1995-2005 had some of the amazing hand drawn (and especially mechanical) animations ever made. It was a very special time. In the mid-2000's and beyond CGI stared to be used heavily and is almost used exclusively today.

Old school anime were made with precision and love

1980s/90s anime artists really _got_ mechanical design. If there was a machine on screen, from a gun to a 3-story robot, you could _see_ how it worked, and they weren't shy about details. Everything now is simplified and abstracted.
