One Love
Просмотров 90015 лет назад
One Love from the video "What Do I Care, I Don't Have Kids Construction Company, Inc."
Another example of the songwriter who sings the song with the emotion that created the song: gretchen peters singing "you don't even know who I am". Patty Loveless knew a great song whe she heard it.
Suzy and Cheryl should have done this song as a duo like when Cheryl sang Addicted with Dan
still with you Cheryl , since the mid 80s . thank you for the many years 🎶
Cheryl Wheeler - you are incredible! I watch this for every cat’s birthday and laugh my butt off. The animation is great too! Hope you are back performing soon!
Wonderful song, wonderful performance. Cheryl is just so great!
Cheryl Wheeler is a treasure. The voice of an angel, and one of the best American songwriters of all time. Love everything she does. What an amazing talent!
She sings like a bird. ❤️
LOVE YUH... LOVE YUH...
I lived in Baltimore for 32 years, so she and I no doubt overlapped there (Timonium is a Bawlmer suburb). Only heard of her recently, but I would like to belatedly shout out to a hometown girl….
Why are the rain clouds comin', pourin' down on me? Why can't the North wind turn and blow the other way? Where has the sunshine gone? Oh I can barely see, This Northern rain is fallin', and home is callin' me. Sun in a Southern sky is all I need to see. Watchin' a small bird fly, above the fields and me Walkin' a dusty road and there's nothin' 'round the bend Except those golden tones of goin' home again. Goin' home - goin' home Muddy old river flowin' 'neath a fallen tree, Sunflower garden growin' twice as tall as me Sister and Father hear me, what I've learned today I ain't no Northern girl, I've been too long away. Goin' home - goin' home On a starry old summer evenin' Hummin' warm and sweet I hit the road believin' I was bound to leave And it took the New England sky to teach me how to say I ain't no Northern girl, I've been too long away I ain't no Northern girl, I've been too long away This ain't no Northern song - I've been too long away.
Thank you!
I love this song I grew up listening to this song
I always play this for my religious friends and relatives.
Artista incrível. Verdadeira música. 👏👏👏💯⚘
She's amazing. She deserves much more fame than she has had.
Remarkable talent all wrapped up on such pesutful poetry. We are so lucky to have her.
Achingly beautiful lyrics 😍
Well, this is bit of a masterpiece now, idn't it?
Magnífica. 👏👏👏
Que ótima artista. E que bom gosto. Nunca tinha ouvido falar. Que geração fantástica. 👏👏👏⚘
Hard to believe this has been on you tube for 13 years and has less than 6000 views.
Up to 5.8 K now...at least 5000 are me! Lol....I love this song and the singer even more...this is gonna be one song for my funeral....
When I was living in Minneapolis I would listen to this song on my cassette tape, and I would think of my home in New England. This song always puts a lump in my throat. :)
Home is calling
I remember seeing this video exactly once on CMT about 30 year ago, and not being able to decide it it's the most clever song ever or the creepiest song ever. Thirty years later, I think it was. LOL
I fell in love with this song and Cheryl long long ago and still am
really special
I discovered this on the soundtrack to a novel....
Confusing song however I guess she introduced him to the wrong girl and that was the end of their original relationship?!? Regardless, a deep soulful song
I just learned of Cheryl Wheeler today... I greatly appreciate singer/songwriters. I remember Suzie's version when it came out, but this is now the version for me. Beautiful song, sung by her creator, priceless.
I could listen to this girl sing and play circles around the Autotuned, clap tracked so called singers now..I love you Cheryl! So much talent💞💞🎶
Até a poucos dias eu não conhecia essa artista fantástica. 💯
I'm an RN and was working geriatric psychiatry when I heard this the first time, struggling with my own depression. Cheryl, you saved me and made me so happy. I love this song still many many years later (I'm now retired after 32 years, last 10 in cardiac telemetry). As a matter of fact, the only time I got reported to a supervisor was for being "too happy" with my job by a patients mother who was a retired nurse. LOL.
My favorite songwriter since I first heard ACES...but ESTATE SALE REMAINS MY FAVORITE
Beautiful!!
amazing wow i’m old
This is one of my favorite RUclips videos of all time! ;)
I'LL BE "GOING HOME" ONE DAY SOON. I'D LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED IN A SONG LIKE THIS. BEAUTIFUL!
CHERYL & DAN SEALS SHOULD BE IN THE COUNTRY HALL OF FAME. YES THEY ARE THAT GOOD.
Loved her since 85 in R.I. Have all her CD's and Love the Songwriting, Voice and Playing
Discovered Ms Wheeler in 86. She had a regular gig at a bar in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Have all her CD's fell in love with her songwriting and singing. Dan Seals covered her song "addicted" and she performed it with him at The American Music Shoppe. Check it out.
Wonderful ...

Cheryl is so awesome. Blessed to have found this gem.

Just listening to your song.... I’m going home to Nashville after 2 Covid years of not being able to go back, now living in London.... your song brought tears to my eyes... thanks. Looking forward to seeing MY Nashville home.... ❤️
Amazing...
My God, this is spectacular. I have always loved the song, but never heard the it sung by the author.
Doe's anyone know where this concert was? I've found several of these videos from the same venue.
I like her own version better than Suzy. Suzy is great but this is amazing sound.
Excellent as usual!
Awesome!!! Windswept Farms! ❤️😘😎👏🏻
I love this song! I really hope to see you again! Any chance you would sing Blue Eyes? Please? ❤️ Teri H. Formerly of Wakefield, RI
