Hello, how are you? This is very good and informative video. Thank you for that! I do have one question. Can I use just Delta MS membrane with vinyl flooring planks without plywood subfloor? Example Home Depot’s Life proof or Floor and Decore Nucore product (very strong and the locking system doesn’t break easily). Please let me know what you think and thank you in advance.

This video was extremely helpful. I am using Advantech over Eco Cork Foam for a slab on grade application. I was going to let the Advantech float but now, I am going to use your technique to attach to the slab. The silicone pre-injection was brilliant! Thank you.

Great to see a new-ish video from you again! Would you consider doing a video on how you rigged your wire racks? I live in an apartment and cannot attach anything to the ceiling. But it looks like you have the top shelves of the racks suspended somehow. I'm interested to know how you did that. I'm currently preparing a spare bedroom to turn it into a grow room. I live in Illinois where winters can get cold and snowy (being in Canada I'm sure you know all about cold/snowy weather!). I also have no space to grow outside. So indoor growing is my only option right now. I'd really like to grow things year-round if I can to reduce my dependence on the supermarket.

Can you put 6mil plastic down as a vapor barrier instead of that stuff? I plan on doing LVP on top of a subfloor

I am not doing that. I am using the same nutrient that you have. I just mix the nutrient ti a big bucket and that ' s it.

If i was tiling a bathroom, would crack isolation be good enough instead of a uncoupling membrane?

when keying in the mortar with the flat side of the trowel how thick is the layer thats being applied? ive seen another video where you installed tile on a concrete floor without using the uncoupling membrane but reading the comments you say is best to always use the membrane Whats the reason for not using it on a concrete floor? i am a new subscriber and handyman i appreciate your thoroughness in each of your videos. you are a natural teacher

Thanks for this video. I just finished painting my finished posts and they look great! Wo much better than framing with drywall. The only wtep i added was taking a sander and rounding off the corners a little bit.

Oh and I love my radishes as a potato substitute they don’t have any bitterness after roasting and have the same texture as potatoes super weird but delicious! And low carb!!

I did move to tomato cages and they are solid on the lid. I love them. But indeterminate tomatoes would still need to be supported like you are doing. I don't have the room for tall plants. Filling is easy because i raise the lid and the whole plant and cage raises with it. I do raise determinate tomatoes. I'm so glad you put up a new video, it's nice to see you again.

This was PERFECT timing! I was just trying to figure out how to support my tomato plants, so thank you!

Would it be advisable for extra care to pre paint or primer the bottom of the plywood..and rub silicone down the edges of the sheets..for extra water protection.. I was told even to roll on a driveway sealer tar..let it dry then lay sheets.. all this because we do get wster seepage on heavy freeze thaw spring time in northwestern ontario Canada..thks
