I was there on night one. We Portlanders could not believe that Dylan was coming to our little city to play in this small old theater - it was last used as a 2 screen porn theater before he came and did these benefit shows! Dylan and the band were just fantastic. Those were the days!

I was there. Amazing show. Bob in very good mood. Funny detail in this song. After the Dylan guitar solo ends about 7.20 he starts playing harmonica but forgot to use a microphone. When he realised that nobody could hear him play he smiled and went for the microphone. 8.00 the loud cheer from the audience is a reaction to this.

I’ve always marveled at this performance of SimpleTwist and I come back to it often. The reason is because the first couple verses Bob is kinda phoning it in, meaning his vocals are a little lacking, a bit scratchy…not his best. BUT THEN: at the 1:21:00 mark when he “pushed back the blinds” it’s as if he closed his eyes and really tried to sing beautifully for the remainder of the song. And boy, does he!! He finds that glorious vocal pocket that makes 1996 purrr so wonderful…

I just happened to be camping my way through the Rockies. Turned up in Telluride, and there was this free concert in the park...

This was my first Bob show 🥰

Yep, I was there. Along with about 20 or so of my friends. Quite an evening. Acoustics were pretty poor in the basketball gym, but they somehow made it sound quite good. Probably no more than 500 in the audience - sitting on the floor, there were no chairs ;). I was maybe 15 rows back from the stage so maybe that helped the sound. When Bob came out with his white face paint, some joker in the audience yelled "Bob, what's with the mask?" Bob replied "What mask?". That gave us all a good chuckle and then they started the set with him. An unforgettable night if you were there. Joan and McGuinn were in fine form as was Bob. Quite an ensemble and quite a night of incredible music...

I was at another show three days prior to this one (Glauchau). The setlist was very different. He was so creative that year. I had seen him in 94, but 95 was the year that he really won me over. Seen him many times since then, one month ago in Stuttgart.

Got a link to audio download on Christmas Eve 1999. I couldn’t believe how great it was. The video doesn’t add much except for how cool Bob’s boots are.

After hearing the Prague 95 concert for the first time the other day I am absolutely loving Bob's sound live around this period. I had no idea this stuff existed so imagine my joy at hearing these for the first time. Not only that but the joyful abandon with which they perform and being joined onstage by 3 legends. Man this stuff is timeless and irreplaceable. Thanks for sharing my friend
