@@ProfesjonalnyRUclipsr there isnt a specific tactic for every scenario, you just have to asses the situation youre in and use terrain to your advantage. But if youre wondering about any formation templates then you can easily copy the formations in yt videos or make your own through experiment.

@@raccoonyobo3137 nah.. i'm pretty good in bannerlord, literally 10k plus hours... i just find this video stupid so i wanted to... kinda force the author into explaining himself (or yourself? sorry english isn''t my first language) i mean he explained nothing in this video and the title sounds like sturgian heavy spearman is superior than darkhan, then he show us video in which they pretty much tied... then explained nothing saying "emm yeah, they are similar depending on tactics" and now i'm like... okay? what tactics?

@@aceofspades8253 Would love to see it. I've seen a lot of same troop vs same troops videos but I haven't seen videos where we find out what is the best one for designated purposes. Like best infantry against cav. Best against archers. Best cav against infantry (maybe even best against polearms, best against shielded, best against shock troops), best cav against archers. Best Shock infantry against cav, best against archers, best shock troop against shielded infantry. Just some things I keep wandering :). As it is now, because I'm not sure, I just use tier 6s and legionaries for infantry.

The axe men work better against infantry I think .. 🤔 as said the spear men are better against horses.. Basically imo you get a main body of axe men with a single line of spear men to help deal with horses.. 😅😂

@@ndld4955 I was looking for some more comparison fights and I saw one that checked all the shielded t5 infantries against each other and a few others. Axemen are on the lower tier (worse than spearmen even for infantry) and better than very few, like battania crap. Legionaries are best against high tier troops (not a surprise, since they have maces). Aserai infantry are best against lower geared troops (asorted infantry). Since that what you find mostly on the map Aserai infantry best, Legionaries second, Vlandians third(just for melee purposes, they didn't use the throwing skills in the tests).

I am testing them in a head to head but every kingdom of Calradia has it differences some are cav focused some are archer focused so some units may be a lot weaker head to head but stronger vs other troops like cav and stronger in sieges or defending sieges

yeah that's very strategic, i use just vlandian infantry with battanian archers and aserai or khuzait cavalry

i will be doing this again but with RBM included, when i do those vids i will include your idea with and without RBM

I just find it funny I find so much info of people saying Sturgia has the best infantry when they don't or that other factions infantry is good, especially shock troops when the only shock troop that can win in a 100v100 was the Falxman and the rest weren't even close except the Aserai Guard which brought them down to only 20. Sturgian heavy axeman paired with Line breakers will win against only legionarys but if you do legionarys and Menavlitons, they will win yet again and crushing at that. Falxman are a terror to regular infantry though and I was surprised line breakers lost because they usually have the highest kd out of any shock troops I use besides probably falxman

So, shock troops mixed with regular infantry will beat out regular infantry by themselves such as legionarys and the falxman will murder anything

@@godcomplexlynx Battania Falxman will win in a 100v100. Battanian Fian Champs will win in a 100v100 and BTW it isn't even close. Imperial cataphracts and Vlandian Banner knights will crush them pretty easily too. If you use heavy axeman mixed with line breakers, they will also win but only if you mix them, if you try 100v100 with the individual unit they will lose. I only done one test of Aserai Palace guard but they lost although it was only by like 10-20 troops. Those are just the ones I personally tested in a 100v100. I didn't try Khans Guard but they should mop them up pretty easily but every single shock troop will lose except the falxman although if you do a shock troop only comparison menavlitons will beat every other shock troop except maybe the falxman but the menavliton performs worst than any other shock troop VS regular infantry. Falxman, menavlitons and even line breakers perform very well VS cavalry but I haven't done a test on that yet outside of just playing the game

@@godcomplexlynx fian Champs are the best unit in the game and will literally crush anything whether it is melee or ranged. Sharpshooters can beat them in ranged if you set them up right positioning wise and can at least rival them but generally sharpshooters just perform worst VS cav or any kind of infantry. It's actually sad how op they are. Khans guard follows as second just because you can cheese literally any unit except fian Champs with them. Legionarys is just a solid troop that doesn't lose out very easily so you can just send them in as your front line with something like Falxman behind them guaranteeing a infantry advantage. Have fian Champs in the back guaranteeing a ranged advantage and also is the best unit beating anything. Followed with Imperial cataphracts on your flanks and you won't lose a single battle even if you are outmatched 2-3 to 1 or more. Banner knights and aserai vanguard Faris can rival cataphracts but lose out in a even battle although banner knights can beat them almost half the time and if you use them right, they actually can beat them

fr do it; it's a bit slow at first but if you lean into the rpg of it you really get to enjoy watching the battles scale up. had my first 40 on 40 battle after 7 hours in and it was so freaking sick
