Game strategy and management has been VERY good. Much better than many recent seasons certainly. Getting backups in the game for meaningful snaps. Building depth. Saving strength for future games. Expecting 2s and 3s to get it done just like the starters. Running the offense all 4 quarters but clock and control of game conditions are maintained. Rhule has a game plan and the team is executing it. So far, the team is playing good football. What a change. !!

Solich would have been fine after he hired Bo as D coordinator. Regardless of anything, you don't fire Solich for someone like Callahan who wanted to completely change everything that had always worked in our scheming and you don't fire Bo for Riley who had no record.... That's why I didn't get behind these firings, not because I thought either of them was living up to the standard but because we didn't have the leadership to bring in someone good to coach. There needs to be more oversight over the programs administrators and transparency. Just look at the Trev Alberts debacle... No one knows why the heck he left and no one was there to stand up and make sure we retained him. Granted he still should have stayed but it just goes to show that there's some toxicity at the top of the program that needs removed.

I agree UNI feels like an 11 am game, I personally feel night games should be reserved for games that matter like Illinois coming up next Friday. I want them to feel special for the players/fans

I live in Phoenix and an 11am kickoff in Lincoln is 9am here, and I hate that. I just watch my Alma mater and not interested in watching other teams all day long.

I’m also a little concerned about Dowdell’s ball security. I don’t know if you noticed, but the ball squirted out when he dove into the end zone. It was a very similar situation to his first fumble.

I learned that the way Rhule is building his program with NIL is better than how Prime is “building” his program with NIL.

You dudes keep using the word “WE” you haven’t done shit. That team housed at the stadium played the game not you. Stop using the word WE.

Deontai Williams returned a fumble for a TD in the 2020 Penn State game. Had to look it up but I remember their offense was terrible until they replaced Clifford with Levis. Then they went up and down the field and we barely held on.

This was the loudest Husker game I've ever attended. Louder than 2014 Miami, 2016 Oregon and 2010 Mizzou. Core memories were created. The momentum in Husker Nation is palpable. Let's enjoy the hell out of this ride! GBR!!!!!! 🌽🌽🌽

Nebraska will win by 17-21 We won’t have the turnovers to allow them extra possessions, their Dline is ass, their Oline is even worse, they’ll play man all game and get beat. Sanders will be on his back 12+ times and will be running for his life from the jump.

RE the “us v us” compared to the “us v them” approaches discussed around the 21 minute mark, consider one of my favorite quotes of all time. “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.” (Ernest Hemingway) Also consider that every successful plan to make yourself better and to cope with life includes the concept that you should focus on the things you can control and ignore those thing you cannot. I don’t think there is any question that the us v us approach is the only path to permanent success.
