Hey mate, great review! I was wondering if the 3rd party flashes are compatible with the sync speed priority option in the camera allowing the shutter speed to go to 1/200 sec when in electronic shutter mode. I know that some Canon flashes are but not sure if that extends to Godox, Wescott etc

try the tamron 45mm 1.8. gets rid of a lot of problems and it's cheap as hell

What made you switch from the R6II to this? What are the main advantages you are noticing besides obviously more resolution? Running dual R6II's right now, really wanting to switching at least one of the bodies but the price is hard to swallow.

There is a used CT deck now at BH photos but it's only discounted 88 dolars.

Also by the way. I emailed loupedeck over a week ago and asked a couple of tech questions and they go back to me saying we'll get back to you soon but it never happened. A full and everybody on the internet says the LOUPEDECK mail in support it a joke. MX was very good and professional but still tech support is not going to help many of these software glithes.

Hello, My new channel. This video has been like therapy to me. I'm watched dozens of videos on both units. I bought the MX. and yes the same thing. I use an m3 max pro MacBook. After a week and many many sessions with phone support I find the software is just what you said... " When it works I love it but it stops all the time working". The main issue is when I pull up the action wheel and adjust exposure or shadows or what ever it won't exit the wheel. The wheel goes away but the action is stuck on the task. One must restart the computer and it will work again for a short time. . That is just one example of many glitches. I am new to consoles and I love love the idea and it's the best, but like you said. When it works it's awesome but half the time it's a mess and a busload of frustration. I was thinking of getting the CT loupedeck or even the live loupedeck like yours thinking that would solve the problem but now I now know from you valuable experience that it's more of the same. By the way I'm pretty sure your Loupedeck Live is discontinued. I Really like your channel and style so I'm going to say Bravo for this video. To me it's speaks volumes. Thank you.

can't decided between this or the canon 85 1.2.....have you tried any Canon L glass? I've heard the sigma is more clinical

Thank you for doing this video, I was looking between Moment Cinebloom 10% with ND filter stack option and this Retro filter from Sandmarc which seems to be the older Cloud Diffusion filter they offer with the vintage look. I originally wanted to get a Ricoh GRIII HDF but trying to keep a tight budget and so this seems like a good mix! Thank you.

Do you use 35mm crop mode when you use these lenses or you stick with the native ratio then just crop?

Flash recycle time is faster than Leica.

Hi do you think the external zoom barrel will wobble by using this lens for a longer period of time or maybe become loose? I am thinking of buying it, but if i am spending the money, the lens zoom barrel should be solid over long term, worth the money. Also, did you experience anything unusual about the barrel over the years you have used.

Does this adapter allow you to set the Aperture from a camera, electronically? Or you're forced to use the Aperture ring on it?

Question about the "effects of" the Fringer GFX-EF adapter with EF glass "over time" long term: 1) Do the Canon EF AF primes (with lots of glass like 85L) still work well being adapted long term? Has the GFX-EF adapter proven to be faultless for both GFX body AND EF L lenses? 2) In forums puritst are worried "for unknown third party (electrical) damage to GFX and/or EF lenses", they stay "safe with GF glass". Do they have a point or is Fringer adapter pretty safe? 3) How does in your experience the quality of Fringer GFX-EF adapter "over time" treat Canon L primes? How do you Reflect after using adapted lenses for about two years? Still all good?

Close to two years later than the original video date: 1) Did you finaly got the firmate updated to the newest 1.9 (on a Windows)? 2) Do you still have to turn the camera off-and-on while changing lenses? 3) What happened in the past if you didn't? Did the camera freeze? 4) Are there any "problems" function wise from a camera operability/longevity point of view?

I'm new to the channel but am learning a lot in a short time. Everything positive. Great teacher/reviewer who channels a great vibe. I love that he more often than not, takes the time to be polite and respond, just for the sake of responding. I'm building my laundry list of things I'd love to ask. Is there a avenue for that I don't yet know about (pod cast, courses, Q & A Fridays, etc.)

Did you notice any autofocus issues on faces when using the Retro filter? I just got mine, and I use it with a iPhone 14 Pro, and I'm having troubles with the autofocus when there's a face.

I actually thought that you will compare the images taken with the GFX AND the X-T5+56mm to show how the images copare. I own the GFX, but still holding on to the X-T3 with the 56mm, because I love the look from that lens. However I am contemplating selling it and getting a lens that would replace it with the GFX. Not a professional, so have to keep my GAS at bay....

Did you see an improvement in AF when shooting in darker conditions, like dance floor photos at events?

Can I ask your thoughts on Studio display standard vs. nano?

In display settings there is buttom Advanced...(under 60Hz). From there you can unlock more resolutions. And even more after that from resolution selector. Show all resolutions. I just use Preset Photography (P3-D65). No need to pump up brightness in my editing environment. Keep posting!

I mostly see a difference in white balance with the R5 looking warmer/yellower/greenish. Prefer the look, color wise from the R5II. I have both cameras, and the differences in my images are not as stark as they are here. Probably they weren’t both calibrated to the same white balance, even if the kelvin temps are identical. Custom white balance would be preferred

What kind of V Mount Battery are you using? I got a new Swit OMNI-99S that should output a steady 150W but the Godox turns off a few seconds later at 80%. Ridiculous.

Why would you buy the r62 as a professional photographer?

I have to agree with a recent comment that your review was well done. It was so fluid, informative and not so contrived. What struck me was how honest it was and it wasn't as "influencer-ish" as many creators are today not that making a living online is bad but sometimes, a little honesty, which you conveyed goes a long way. Jesus... I was about to purchase this for mainly have it as a walk around camera especially when I go out w my gf. I could use this at nights with the built in flash, but this recycle time is terrible...
