Unless your lights are synchronized, they could cause an epileptic fit due to phasing in and out producing varying combined frequecies. On my ICE trike, the Sprint X Tour, have a cateye 1100 on the front which is very visible flashing at 200 lumens in daylight for 60 hours. The rear cateye viz 450, lasting 50 hours is highly visible at night and in shade, but hard to see in sunlight, my highviz top, white helmet and yellow flag though I feel is adequate during daytime to be seen. On the bicycle, use a slow flashing fly 12 alongside the fast flashing cateye 1100 which I do not believe can cause epilipsy due to the fly 12 having a slow flash rate.

You are breathless going up hills. I assume your gearing is too high as should take the same effort on hills as on the straights with low enough gearing, you just travel slower which on a trike should not be an issue as you wont fall over if too slow.

Considered the Adventure but ordered the Spint X Tour instead. Not getting the headrest as £100 or so. Will put the catseye 450 on the rear and catseye 1100 on the front which I use on my bicycles, the lights being very visible during the day, terrific at night.

Hmmm....Isn't a trike supposed to be faster than bicycles? Since watching the video got a trik , the ICE Sprint X 26 Tour. Like ion the video, cyclists shoot past you , very demoralising.

Superb - I’ve watched the whole route 72 series New Year’s Eve Eve 30.12.22 - slightly the worse for wear after 3 glasses of red wine (well it IS Christmas!). Did LeJog on my 3 speed Brompton with small dog and camping gear June 2021 - you’ve now inspired me to do this route 72, great films thank you! ❤️

I’m a cyclist in my 60s and never been on a trike, lovely to see your videos, so clear. My husband and I got recumbent trikes just before we were 60 and on our second trip we crossed the Rocky mountains. Yes recumbents climb mountains, maybe slowly but never got so tired that we tipped over! 😉

Compared with an upright tricycle, how well do these machines handle stability for instance, do you find you have to fight the road camber.
