Ma’am why is shruti called authorless when there definitely are authors of four Vedas??? Hoping for your response
In Hindu philosophy, Shruti is considered "authorless" (known as apauruṣeya) because it is believed to be of divine origin, revealed knowledge, or eternal truth that was not composed by any human author. The term Shruti refers to what is "heard," meaning that it is knowledge received by ancient sages (rishis) through divine revelation or spiritual insight, not something written or created by them in the conventional sense.
