Conductor Mark II
We finally released the Conductor Mark II.
Addressing all the customer feedback we've received over the last few months, the Mark II model is more featureful, more ergonomic and more affordable than before. Still sporting the same 100mm smooth-glide faders, we narrowed the spacing between them for a more comfortable hand position. The connection port has been upgraded to USB-C, and a new button on the front panel allows toggling between three sets of parameter "pages".
Conductor Mark II is available on our website:

Introducing Cloud Seed 2.0
Просмотров 6 тыс.Месяц назад
ghostnoteaudio.uk/products/cloudseed? Cloud Seed is an algorithmic reverb plugin, designed for emulating huge, endless spaces and modulated echoes. The algorithms are based on the same principles as many classic studio reverb units from the 1980's. CloudSeed does not attempt to model any specific device, or even to be a general-purpose reverb plugin at all. It is best employed as a special effe...

Transistor Legacy - Lead 100 Gold Demo
Fantastic upgrades... Nicely done accommodating numerous requests; and it looks top notch. I think I'll have to order one of these to tide me over until the motorized fader issues are solved. Great work!
Just got mine 😊 Really cool. Fills a massive gap in the market 👍
If that LED is rgb you should be able to allow the user to specify how many presets and assign colours to them as well in the software right? Cool product, found it cause i use the free old cloudseed.
You're right. That would be a great update for the future - right now the firmware has a fixed set of 3 pages (red, green and blue), but a future firmware update might allow for variable number of pages.
coooool stuff you make
Next step is to replace those damn noisy and stiff 'foot' switches with nice comfy touch pads so we don't push it onto the floor when we want to turn a 'pedal' on or off. Better yet, why not take all the electronics and put them in a box specially designed for sitting on a desk and put that in a rack so you can have a lot of them all together. Oh wait...
Oh, I wish 19" rack gear would make a comeback!! :) By the way - we do actually use soft-touch momentary footswitches with relays on all our pedals - no stiff, clicky switches for us!
200 quid for three faders puts you up against Monogram. But Monogram seem rarely to have the stock to ship, so maybe you'll be okay.
It does. Although it was 169, and now price is reduced to 149. However, the Monogram is more tailored towards video editing, and several features set these two units apart. But the features I wanted our design to have, that the Monogram does not: * Single unit, no "master module" required. * Plug and play, no proprietary software required. * Long-throw, 100mm faders (Monogram is 60mm). * Class compliant Midi-over-USB, making it work with non PC/Mac host devices (like hardware sequencers). * Grippy and doesn't slide around on your desk. Will stay put if you place it on your master keyboard. If any of these features appeal to you, then consider our product. If the modularity of the Monogram is a desireable feature, and you want to combine more modules to make your own custom interface, go with the Monogram. Their design is very sleek! A lot of people are liking the 100mm faders, that's probably the main selling point of the unit, but I've also had people complain that it's too long to be comfortable for them. If you have small hands, shorter faders might be more suitable. We're just here to offer options, but people seem to like what we offer 😀
Love the slot idea - stealing that for when i print up one (was already planning to, my pedals are on my rack and really want some angle). Looks like a great design
Thanks, been scratching my head over reamping and DI boxes - too much information out there. Will do some tests out from my Audient iD14 mk2 direct into my amp and back into interface and see how it goes.
Congratulations on your success, and thank you for your clear strong work ethic! It's enjoyable to hear that the person behind a product I'm interested in is invested in improvements. I was going to purchase today, but this suggests I might benefit from waiting for future planned updates. In response to this video, what I would recommend as far as motorized faders are concerned is perhaps a small upper right "Update" button (your pointer finger could easily reach) that allows the person to choose when they want the fader to "read" what the present channel data is and then move to adjust. This way there is no surprise changes or constant updating issues, and all it takes is a 'tap' of the button to get the fader to update and move to the channel's CC reading exactly when the user needs it to. Just a thought.
Awesome, I just recently fell back in love with my VS100 but I don't really want to take it on the road. This might be a good solution.
Makes a pedal version of an amp known for its ultra scooped high gain death metal tone -> demoes it with low gain alt rock riffs with the mids maxed out 😵
You sure you watched the whole video, mate? :) Sure, I wanted to make the point that this is not a one-trick pony and played some mid-gain riffs. It's actually a very versatile preamp. 6:01 - 6:55 is what you're looking for. Also, further demos: ruclips.net/user/shortshv5QDSIB29E ruclips.net/video/PipKkw_MRfw/видео.html
is there any samples about Omega Lead ?
How does it compare to the Master Effects Martyr? A comparison would be great. They sound similar.
Good question. I've unfortunately never tried the Martyr myself, but am aware of it. I don't know what solution they used to replace the triode clipping stage, but I suspect it's something similar to what I did, although maybe with JFETs instead of diodes? Only way to be sure would be to crack one open a take a look :)
Great recording. Love this demo track. After several trials, I found out that the max ouput level from the monitor output of my Focusrite 2i2 gen2 is actually lower than the level of my guitar (passive but hot humbucker). So the trick is to use the headphone out at max volume which actually corresponds to my guitar output volume (input track volume trimmed to stay in the 'green' zone). I went direct from headphone out (left) to tube preamp input (Synergy) and back to input2. Did not need a transformer actually. Finally I did a comparison of a direct recording vs reamped in this way and it was nearly indistinguishable. By the way Reainsert seem a cool method to reamp but I would probably need a bigger interface..
I have the Korg Triton extreme, barely playable, lots of glitching going on, and its the only VST that does it
The original cloudseed reverb had an early reflection section that seems to be gone. Why is that?
The early reflections section was split up and better labeled, it consisted of the tapped delay and the diffusion section. So no change there, really, just a re-labeling of things in the UI.
sounds sexy me cant lie
sounds amazing! just found the old version of cloud seed :) i know its not the newest version, but it sounds already great.
Nice :) - If the old version works well for you, that's great. But I also want to make it clear; you *can* install and use the new version without a license. There is a dialog that shows up for 5 seconds when you first open the UI (similar to what Reaper does), but you can dismiss it and use the plugin without limitation. It's just there to remind you that, if you have a chance to buy a license and support us, that would be awesome. ☺ - but the old version is still totally free and continues to be so, of course!
these are on my to get list.
Dude! Website is not working/ does not open
Might've been a temporary glitch - back up now :)
😢❤❤😂
Are these motor faders?
Looks amazing!!! Will definitely purchase and support hou guys!!!! 💙🔥
Sounds great. Could it be that 'Low Cut' should be 'Low Pass'?
yes, absolutely! 😵 It's an old bug that somehow managed to sneak back into my codebase just before the latest release! It was reported to me yesterday by a helpful customer, I've already made the fix, just wrapping up a new release right now, you should find version 2.2.1 with correct labels on our download pager tomorrow :)
@@GhostNoteAudio Great, thank you. Looking forward to demoing!
Excellent sounds. But is there a chance of the IRWorkshop ever becoming a vst plugin?
It's in the works :) I've got a couple other projects to wrap up but I've been working on a new plugin which takes the majority of what IR Workshop does, and adds a bunch of the methods that I developed for this project. I'm hoping to get it released before the end of the year.
@@GhostNoteAudio Good to hear. I'll probably exclusively use that for cabinet simulation when it comes out 😆. What's weird to me is that IRWorkshop is a pretty powerful and creative tool. And you/you guys released it 7 years ago apparently, and the first time I hear about it is in this video. That too as an offhand mention.
HELL YEAH
Interesting! Just purchased. Looking forward to working with it!
I cannot believe that the day I try my new laptop and install cloudseed is the same day that this released, it was such a shock to see haha, this reverb is incredible and i've been in love with it for years
1/5 of my payslip 😮? I do like that plugin but I will stick to free version.
The personal license is 39 pounds. I don't know what the minimum wage is in the Netherlands but your argument doesn't quite seem right :) - but indeed, you can use the plugin without limitations until you're ready and able to buy a license. I'd much rather offer a good free option than for people to resort to piracy.
Instant buy! It was already a high quality product, can't wait to hear what you have come up with
Thank you! :) - The core algorithm hasn't changed very much, we improved the tapped delay and the allpass filters, fixed problems with big buffer sizes and made the whole thing quite a lot more performant. But mostly this new version is about fixing all the glitches and compatibility problems that plagued the old one. It should give a much nicer user experience.
Another 10 years and it'll run on Linux? :#
I would love it if Linux was a market worth chasing, but sadly, I have to take economics into account :( Linux is the smallest market by far, and the hardest to support due to all the different distros and different libraries and window managers, etc. Unfortunately the math just doesn't work out and as a mostly one-man shop I have to keep my attention laser-focused on areas where I can make the biggest impact. - I really do hope someone builds a Linux version using the open source core, though :)
@@GhostNoteAudiounfortunately Windows will be also obsolete, as it is slowly degrading as a platform.
@@thisathema that may be but at the moment almost half my customers are on windows, so I will continue to support windows while that is the case.
Thank you for your quality work and for your generosity.
This has gone on my list of verbs to get. right now I'm in a time out I have been buying far to much stuff.. xD
Can't find Part 3?? Please help.
Still not been released! thanks for reminding me, I have to get on that ASAP :)
Heyy so happy to see you back! Cloud Seed was my favorite reverb but some UI bugs in the old version had made it unusable for me. Thank you for bringing this legendary reverb back to life!
What separates this from the Valhalla reverbs? No discrepespect and no I haven’t really looked into it. I’m hoping someone could reply to this comment and remind me of it since I am very tired
Hi - I can definitely say that both ValhallaRoom and VintageVerb have lots of similarities to Cloud Seed. However, the main points of difference would probably be the way you control and interact with the reverb algorithm. The Valhalla plugins have different fixed "Modes", such as Room, Chamber, Plate... while you can control literally every element in Cloud Seed. This can certainly make it a bit overwhelming, due to the sheer number of controls, though. It's definitely a reverb for those who like to tweak and experiment. Another thing that sets them apart is the ability to do strange things, that sound unnatural. ValhallaRoom has some weird modes, like the Sulaco and the LV-426, which are comparable to what you can do with Cloud Seed, but they offer you a handful of fixed modes. Cloud Seed was purpose built with features that make it go a bit.. loopy :)
@@GhostNoteAudio This explanation right here is what caught the most of my attention and got me to go give CloudSeed a shot! I will definitely be telling my friends about this plugin. <3
I'm all about reverbs! Looks fantastic. :)
Lol, I recall just happening to look that video I did for Cloud Seed and noticing it somehow had thousands of views, which completely threw me off, as I had no clue where they came from at the time. Turns out somehow embedded it in a review article or something as I recall.
haha nice one 😄 - it was a great video btw!
@@GhostNoteAudio Thanks. That was made relatively shortly after I decided to really get into production, so looking at it now I feel it's kinda low quality. Looks like I'm gonna have to take a crack at doing a better demo now >.>
WE ARE SO BACKKKKK
Perfect timing. I spent the last couple of days hunting for plugins for an upcoming project, and a proper long tail & big space reverb was all that I was missing. Thank you RUclips Algorithm, for recommending me a vid with 100 views.
Awesome, glad you like the plugin! Also, I have no idea what youtube is doing, but it's definitely sending my videos to the right people today 😁
The legend has returned. 👀
amazing plugin
Looks bloody great!
If I want to use my reamp box, the the process is the same?
yes, exactly the same. Just put the reamp box between the line out of your audio interface and the amp. However, check what the output gain of your reamp box is, a lot of passive boxes are -10dB, so your signal strength will be significantly reduced, and you may need to compensate for that by increasing the gain of the channel in your DAW (and hopefully you won't clip). It's actually a drawback of most passive reamp boxes that's yet another reason why I don't like using them.
@@GhostNoteAudio thanks for reply
This is very cool! Thanks for tip man. Cheers!
Mine just arrived this morning. I only ordered it on Thursday - thanks so much for the rapid dispatch! I'm looking forward to unboxing and using it today.
Awesome, good to hear! - We try to dispatch all orders within 2 working days, and Royal Mail have been doing an excellent job on the next day deliveries :) - Shipping to the US has also been incredibly fast, usually being delivered to customers in under a week. Not a single order held up in customs, etc. Sadly, EU countries get the short end of the stick as the customs agencies are extremely aggressive and often take several days to evaluate shipments, but most deliveries are still showing up to customers within about 10 days.
200€ for 3 faders... I mean...
Indeed, it is on the expensive end. But for the professional who spends 8 hours a day in a studio with one hand constantly on the controller, they are willing to pay a little bit extra for something that feels just right for them. This is not a product that anyone "needs" by a long shot, but the demand has certainly shown me that it's a product that a lot of people appreciate and want, and I'm very happy that I've managed to hit that gap in the market.
Man, this is just an amazingly well done response! Followed.
I need this pedal
It's sooo much fun - and so brutal :)
"affordable" is not what I would call 3 faders for 200 euros.... There´s a gap in the market for this, anyway
You know, you're absolutely right. Trying to market the unit based on price was never going to be a good strategy, because I'm simply not trying to compete on price. Instead, I'm trying to hit a certain level of quality and to back it up with good customer support. It's also a very niche product, and not a good fit for everyone, but for the people it's designed for, it seems to be really hitting the mark :)
THIS IS IT!!
