Very educated and well explained video, the gear ratio comparison made a lot of sense.

Thanks, been scratching my head over reamping and DI boxes - too much information out there. Will do some tests out from my Audient iD14 mk2 direct into my amp and back into interface and see how it goes.

Great video but your background noise is a bit too loud. Also I think you should have spent a bit more time talking about how it can convert unbalanced to balanced. Although the information is there it isn't 'highlighted'. This is a very useful function for long cable runs as you briefly mentioned. It's super useful to get a stereo DI for DJ's as a lot of beginner controllers don't have balanced outputs and DJ's often have to be very flexible in hooking up to the house sound or for mobile gigs.

@@GhostNoteAudio I'm guessing they're talking about the block diagrams and other "technical" parts, that they require a bit of concentration or watching those parts a few times. Maybe a bit unavoidable in my opinion, since this is a technical video.
One thing that might help is highlighting parts of the graphics when you mention them. So when you mention the thru output, highlight it on the diagram.
Same when you mention the noise in an unbalanced signal, highlight that part (the "small ripple"). That way the viewer will go through the diagrams at the same rate as you're explaining it.
Obviously that's quite a bit more editing work, but might make the technical stuff a bit more easily digestible.
