I am a level 8 v9s master and im torn. It took me 8 months to master and i grew accustomed to shooting insanely fast and even over long distances. The nerf provides more accuracy but leaves you open to immediate death because its much slower than a medium ak or fcar. Captain obvious with this next one but i find myself having to adjust to this VERY noticeable change. Nonetheless I adapt and continue to grow. Still my favorite gun.

I feel like this change makes it too similar to the light marksman rifle, the riffle could definitely do with a slight buff in some way to differentiate itself, the breakpoints for both these guns are now identical except for heavy requiring one less bullet If I was gonna buff the marksman rifle I’d give it a 2.1 x headshot multiplier so you can he’d shot body shot lights and make all other classes breakpoints require 1 less bullet if you headshot and also make the gun do 49 dmg per bullet instead of 48, if it’s too strong lower the fire rate by another 10/20 rpm

I like it better like this. I’m on controller so needing to spam the trigger less has definitely helped me be effective with it.

for your mental health, I would put the melee weapons down lmao. But fr you cant play the riot shield this way, you are not supposed to chase people down for kills or even really do damage. The goal of this kit is to play next to your team and just area deny. It is a pretty miserable way to play but sadly it works stupidly well if it is committed to. A riot shield player is the super-support class, committed only to defib-ing, healing, reinforcing walls, placing defenses, chasing people away, and otherwise never letting the enemies push your team with confidence. Look at how often people had to run form you, no one can push a cashout or land on a powershift platform if you are there with your 3 incher and a second teammate.

I feel your pain 1000% on this bro. I play casually on mnk and I kept encountering people that had ridiculous kill amounts and play sweaty to the absolute max. This game in its current state has no room for casual players and I don’t even think new players should even attempt this until they fix the matchmaking. I used to be able to chill when I dropped into a trios match on the first ring but now teams will loot up then jump tower on top of you within a matter of minutes. Apex has been one of the most fun FPS games I’ve ever played until now with everything being the highest difficulty possible. If the game stays this way then every new player will give up and uninstall the game. Respawn might just ruin their best selling title…..
