The V9S recieved a fire rate nerf along with a damage per round buff. Overall its DPS has been decreased but as a controller player I am finding it far easier to reach its new maximum fire rate while aiming relatively well. Loving the gun especially with the red dot sight.

I am a level 8 v9s master and im torn. It took me 8 months to master and i grew accustomed to shooting insanely fast and even over long distances.
The nerf provides more accuracy but leaves you open to immediate death because its much slower than a medium ak or fcar. Captain obvious with this next one but i find myself having to adjust to this VERY noticeable change.
Nonetheless I adapt and continue to grow. Still my favorite gun.
The scope is also a nice compensation. It was absolutely OP in its previous state.
It’s still great but yeah the dps is overall a good bit less. I think they could’ve compensated with even higher damage but it’s ok where it’s at
I like it better like this. I’m on controller so needing to spam the trigger less has definitely helped me be effective with it.
I really liked that change, PC has a lot of advantages already
I really liked that change, PC has too many advantages as it is
I liked it stated this way more
its very hard with controller right ?
@@yousif_268 it’s way easier now but still a lil hard to aim
I feel like this change makes it too similar to the light marksman rifle, the riffle could definitely do with a slight buff in some way to differentiate itself, the breakpoints for both these guns are now identical except for heavy requiring one less bullet
If I was gonna buff the marksman rifle I’d give it a 2.1 x headshot multiplier so you can he’d shot body shot lights and make all other classes breakpoints require 1 less bullet if you headshot and also make the gun do 49 dmg per bullet instead of 48, if it’s too strong lower the fire rate by another 10/20 rpm
I agree I guess this change did make them more similar. I think the marksman rifle is really strong right now so maybe to differentiate them you could make the hip fire worse for the marksman and better for the V9S. I also agree a better headshot multiplier for the rifle would be a good touch.
The V9S does have far more bullets and a more prolonged fire time which makes is better for close range movement but I agree they do need to stay different. It’s hard especially with the 93r burst pistol as they have to make that usable yet different as well.
@@TheRealRhino the fact that they still haven’t balanced the burst pistol is insane to me, it’s meant to be a precise weapon but it has only a 1.5 x headshot multiplier, no sight and it has pitiful range. That combination makes no sense. Fair enough they don’t want the 25 dmg per bullet or higher rate of fire but that’s just insane to me. They even refused to put its fire rate back to what it was a few seasons ago because they want it to be pretty much the lights version of the revolver but the revolver has a sight and 2x HS, more range and a sight
Make it make sense
@@TheRealRhino as far as hipfire on the marksman rifle imagine they made it pin point but you had to shoot it at a significantly lower rpm I’m thinking like 50rpm and the quicker you shot it the hipfire would just go crazy wide, it’d make it more similar to ashes rifle off of overwatch which feels incredible tbh
Or make it pinpoint only for the first bullet and the second one is fairly close and 3rd is moderately off course then the spread just goes crazy
if u were shooting like a normal person without a macro or parkinsons fingers then its basically just a buff
Yeah I could never shoot at full speed before especially on controller

Never
