Thank you for this video. Only difficulty I had was at the end, I don't know how you are incorporating the other end of the string (the one the needle is not holding. So I ended up making 3 knots, cutting the string off of the needle, threading the other end of the string through the needle and making 3 knots, then cutting it off the needle along with any excess on either side. Seems to be holding up on my first 3 attempts at this!

My question is the following: If the original pants, or the jeans, come with a straight cut on the leg, is it necessary to make the new measurement with a diagonal cut or fold? Shouldn't it be straight too? Excuse my ignorance.

Hi, tried to do the same as you. A hole in the middle of the shoulder seam. The result is a closed hole but the sides have creases. It can be noticed that a hole has been sealed. Any suggestions?
