Guts would win if Roland wouldn't have his equipment and augments. the city can turn normal human into superhuman, and the color can fight an infinite number of grade 1 superhuman. guts is strong, but damn how absurd the color power is high.

Roland has never(canonically) lost during his time in the library, and according to the Wiki, his main weapon was a baton(before he got the glove). Now here's the thing, I'm not sure if it's canon for Lolland to work with the other librarian during the Red Mist receptions, but if he did do it alone then... Welp. Somebody, please tell me if this is true or not because I just can't believe that this wifeless guy with a baton manages to beat one of the "Strongest" fixers

So I wanted to mention that based off the librarian dialogue in the Black Silence fight, Roland beats all of the other floors bar the one you defeat him on, which means he’s at least beating Gebura or binah (although I’m not sure either of them are “in their prime”, but it’s still an important feat). Also note that his clothes and mask are borderline magical. The mask makes Roland constantly appear out of the corner of your eye like a passerby on the street (I think it’s the artbook that tells us that). And we know high ranking fixer clothes are crazy from the dialogue of The Carnival fight.(basically they increase your stats lol XD) Roland is 100% an assassin type character Just things I thought were worth mentioning

something to keep in mind on top of all of this is that vergilius has the power of sin. those little white ring things that show up sometimes on him and other powerful opponents. and they're basically a force multiplier, because why not add a stacking damage boost on top of all his other bullshit

My friend told me this, but i don't know much about Pmoon's lore, so Roland or fixers that wears suits aren't the normal suit, they're served as a armor and protection, like a bullet proof suit.

Would like to correct a small thing on Rolands side. He is not unarmored. During one Mission in the game it is explained that people are woven into Fibers by certain beings, whereby stronger people translate to tougher fibers. His Suit is made up of some of the most impressive fibers you can get on the market given he has many priceless weapons in his possession. The Suit keeps him from suffering otherwise mortal wounds should he be hit by attacks from almost anything.

One minor nitpick part that isn’t that major but still makes roland even more impressive in my eyes. He wasn’t the original Black Silence. That was his wife’s title with his only weapon prior to her death being Durandal. The main reason why I found this so cool is it means that he mastered the gloves and turned the fighting style into his own in the middle of his rampage across the city. Just it communicates how adaptable and talented is by learning essentially on the fly how to fight at a level where everyone just assumed he was the black silence. Again its not a massive issue or anything just wanted an excuse to gush about Roland ^^
